Why some rom' market shows my paid apps have to buy again?
And some of my usual apps disappear, ever I change the code by market enabler...
I found those apps the market website, it shows the apps wasn't available for my phone. But the apps did available before...
What's problem?

Hi,
I used to use appbrain for downloading apps which are not available in the stock android market but ever since google update the android market it appears that I can't use appbrain even after uninstalling updates and clearing the cache. Simply speaking, I want to be able to see all apps that are available in the market whether it's for froyo, paid, region specific, or what not. So, does anyone have a solution to show all apps in the android market?
I did do a search on the internet and I got a hold of this: droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x-hacks/5501-build-prop-edits-great-battery-life-fast-phone-full-market.html Has anyone with an xperia x10 mini tried this or something similar? Thanks.
Hey all,
So i'm now running 2.3.4 and the new android market, one thing i've noticed is that i can't see all the apps in the market that i once could. I tried a google search and came up with 2 apps- Market enabler and market access. I installed both, set the sim thing to t-mobiles, but i still can't see the apps (onstar for example).
Any tips on getting the market restriction removed?
Thanks
Hi ,
Appbrain app market on my Galaxy S2 , doesn't show the all updates available to the apps installed on my phone .
Even though the apps show with the latest version number when searched manually , they don't show up in the updates section of appbrain app market.
Like i have battery monitor widget pro , playerapp pro etc installed which have updates available but appbrain update section only shows 2 of the app with updates ( When i checked that 8 apps updates are available )
Why .? Is it a bug in appbrain .?
Some of the apps are installed from sources other than android market , but , appbrain should show updates for all the apps (installed from market as well as outside market ) right .?
Also are there any other apps which track new versions of all applications apart from atrackdog and appbrain .??
Neither appbrain nor atrackdog are reliable. Sometimes it takes some time before they spot new versions, sometimes they are even faster than the prompt in the market. For example appbrain spotted a new Tango version in the market, before i've been prompted by the market itself. Also atrackdog spots wrong new versions.
Titanium Backup's Market Doctor works great, at least for the Market apps.
Market doctro, fail with certain app link. Because?
Any alternativ to appbrain .??
Hi ,
My android market ( 3.1.5 ) only shows the apps installed via market in the my apps section .
I also installed many other apps from sources other than Android market , but these apps do not show up in the my apps section of android market . Is this normal .?
I want these apps ( ones installed from other sources ) to show up in the my apps section of android market , to know when an updated version of those apps are available ...
So , is it normal for the apps installed from other sources not to show up in my apps section of android market .? If yes , is there a way to make them appear in the my apps section for new version tracking .??
Also are there any other apps which track new versions of all applications apart from atrackdog and appbrain .??
They don't appear in the market section if they are installed from other sources, although market recognizes them as installed.
Yet another reason why the new market is crap.
I got this problem so i uninstalled market updates from applications in settings and froze marketupdater.apk in system/apps.
Im now on the old market which recognizes all my apps (new market doesnt do this)
downloads everytime (new market fails/stalls alot!)
and is very quick (new market its painfully slow)
Why google thought the new market was an update is beyond me. its so far from a finished artical its unreal! it should be called market beta!
If it stutters on my sgs2 i dread to think what its like on a slower handset.
If you have several google accounts, switch to the correct one to make the already installed apps showing up.
No , only a single account .
Yet the apps installed outside the market do not show up in my apps section of market ..
Should they show up by default .??

I never saw the apps installed from other sources in my apps section, whichever version of the market i used. So i think this should be the default behavior. Although if you search those other sources apps in the market they show as installed. I think this is how it should be. My apps market section only shows you the apps you downloaded in the market.

AppBrain App Market and aTrackDog, none of them is perfect, but they are somewhat useful for providing info about updates for apps installed from other sources. If anyone knows some other tracking app please share the info
ya Please someone share some other source apart from appbrain and atrackdog for Update tracking ....!
Hello.
I have a weird problem and don't think I have seen it reported on the forum: my apps are correctly listed in my phone's app list, but when I open the Market app and select the My Apps list, some of them are missing.
Ok, now some additional (useful) details: I'm running stock Gingerbread 2.3.3, rooted, secondary partition and Link2SD. The apps which are missing from the list are (usually ... to lazy to check all of them) the ones which I moved/linked with Link2SD.
How can I get the Market app to show the complete list again (I'm an update freak...)? I tried forceclosing the Market, cleared the cache, restarted my phone. On very few occasions restarting apparently fixes this issue.
I know there's an app which manages you app list and tells you which apps have updates available, but I can't remember it's name and also couldn't find it in the Market.
As a funny "but wait, there's more!", the YouTube app works great but is listed in My Apps as "Not Installed".
Again, what should I do to get the entire list in the Market app?
Well, you got that apps missing after the move with link2sd or they were missing anyway? In the second case the best fix is to get them again from the market and install it when market is opened and you have internet activated so it should put them in your apps list
