Has anyone gotten a working camera on cm7 pre beta 2
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App
use Angel Camera or Fast Burst Camera (or something like that) from the market. they both work. try them out! I use my camera too much so I'm waiting for the final build of cm7.
All camera apps work until you exit them. after that you have to reboot your phone to get them working again.

I'm using the bamf 3.0 rc4 rom and when I open the camera app, there is no option to switch to the front camera. How can I fix this?
Edit: when charging my phone, after unlocking my phone to the pattern screen, on to of the pattern dots, it shows the battery icon and next to it it says ?123. How do I fix this?

Bump?

BAMF is no longer on these forums. There is a newer version out there which is rc4.9
It's on another forum. Google is your friend.

The ?123 has been on every GB ROM I've run.

Well what about my camera?

The button to switch to the front camera is now one of the main buttons of the camera app, its next to the one to switch to the camera recording function, second from the right, or second from the top, depending on how ur holding the phone

Sorry, missed that part of your post. See above. RC4 was fine with the front camera. Reflash if the above doesn't work for you.

Does anybody know a screen shot app that will work with our phone? I used to use shoot me but it fails to find root, as does all the other free screen shot apps in the market.

You double check the setting in superuser for shootme? That could stop it from finding root.

Yes i checked it. Even removed permission and re accepted it

I used to use an application called Screen Shot It on my Samsung Galaxy S, I haven't try it on X2, but I believe it should work fine.

Try AndroSS, it's a free app in the market. It takes excellent screen shots w/o the need of confirming to save each screen shot, and it doesn't show up in your status bar. I think it's even better than ScreenShot ER.
*edit by me
I just downloaded AndroSS. It works great.
screen shot it works fine, and u can link it to the search button for a quick access, DroCap didnt work for me before and I tried a couple others, but ScreenShot It works amazing.
I've had this happen 2-3 times. I click the camera app and it gives me that error. Only a reboot helps. Anyone else had this happen?!

We would need to know what version of Android you are running and what camera and how to reproduce it otherwise we cannot help you...

Im completely stock...sorry. I've had problems like this with ROMs in the past, but never on a stock device.

Make sure you don't have a flashlight app running. If you have it in the quick panel turn it on and off then check camera

Just wondering if anyone has or knows of an app or mod to make the hard keys flash for notifications on ics or aokp roms. Just like the G2x, I know there is an app for stock froyo and gb using lgs "hidden menu", but my vibrant did it on aokp as well. I am well aware of the support and compatability the vibrant has with ics. So I'm assuming it's development is just further along?
