Hi,
Does anyone know if I can use the above together, and more importantly I dont suppose there is a tutorial somewhere on how to get it working?! Am quite scared! Would also like to know if it's worth changing the fonts, or would it impact on any further ROM updates / different Roms being loaded? Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Yes you can use font changer from the market on SwiftDroid M3
What to do:
Make a Nandroid backup JUST IN CASE
Copy .ttf to /sdcard/fonts
Open font changer
Select your font from list
Press apply
Wait for it to apply
Reboot
It doesn't affect anything, you just need to re-apply after each flash.

why bother with an app do it directly yourself, no need to be scared the change wont affect your phone, so you wont brick it , i've done it for all my soft-moded data2system versions of different ROMs.
Here is how-to:

Veronica!
Simple question, can the font size be reduced? Its far to big.
Just what I thought when sent the first sms.
yeah its too easy.. just install a smaller font with font changer app
Simple question #2 then. Which system font needs to be replaced?
I have this problem too..does font changer need to be rooted?and does 2.3 root same to 2.1?
Yes it needs root and no, not as yet. If you want root you will need to flash the pre-rooted 2.3.3 available in the dev section.

I have updated to 2.3 now.. cant I root it with flash tool?
could be a nice guide cuz the fontz are WAY too big in the messaging app.
i like the small font in 2.1 [=
OK...
So finally it's done.
Summary:
XPERIA S THEME FOR ANY HDPI PHONES!
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Any Rooted HDPI ROM. You can use this mod simply if your phone is HDPI (480*854 or 480*800), or your ROM is HDPI based (if you can found drawable-hdpi but cannot found drawable-mdpi/ldpi in system/app/framework-res.apk). This means the mod can be applied to SONY ICS ROM.
2. ClockWorkMod Recovery.
3. ZipThemer app. Provided in attachments below.
Procedures:
1. Download ZipThemerpackage below. Extract the zip, install the apk, create a folder called ZipThemer and put the edify folder into it.
2. Download the XPERIA S THEME part.zip which will modify your framework-res.apk and XPERIA S THEME part 2.zip which is for changes in SystemUI.apk, and put them all in to the ZipThemer folder.
3. Open ZipThemer app, and set the following: Update Script Format: Edify WT19i
4. Press [+Theme] button and add the two zips.
5. Click [Build it!] button, the app will ask you whether to make an undo zip, recommended yes.
6. The app will start patch your framework-res.apk and pack into an update .zip.
7. When done, reboot to ClockWorkMod Recovery, install the update .zip from the root of your SDCard
8. Reboot and enjoy!
Changelog:
v4
Added XPERIA Lockscreen slider amd clock font, progress bar and animation
v3 & v2
skipped
Credits: hafiz98 for providing the images and ZipThemer app.

Flashed on cm9......wifi and settings button only changed for me ...and signal bars
Sent from my Xperia Arc using XDA
For best result use both the two mods. If you want to keep something remain unchanged, you may apply only 1 mod , or even edit the theme zip.
Sent from my WT19i using xda premium
i used both but most things stayed stock ics :'( i must have messed up something...ill try again later
WiFi icons in status bar are misplaced.
Also network signal bars and wifi take more space in your version then in stock (leaked Pro ICS fw).
The rest seems good.
Xperia s theme incomplete versiom.

it already changed to the new font. if you want to revert then either restore your backup(if you have one) or reflash rom

Thanks for your quick response. Question arose in my mind is, how do i know my font is changed and also, how do i change my system font (like System date, default system fonts when we open settings and find options like wireless and networks, call settings, display and so on...and other things which is reflecting in old font format) using this new font installer....I have already rooted my phone thru superoneclick software.
Can you please tell how to reflash my ROM. I have not installed any Custom ROMs in my handset.
Thanks
Devaraj
To flash a new rom,
1. Download the rom file in.kdz format.
2. Download the kdz software by which you can flash your rom.
AS you are new to flagging rom, this is the easiest way you can go.
If you think the information is helpful to you, don't forget to click thanks.

The font changing is system wide. To really be aware of that, install for testing purposes a more unique font with odd characters and look for yourself that it has changed absolutely everywhere (contacts, phone, settings, messaging, browsers). After that you can install whatever font you want and know that it has already changed everywhere.

You are wrong at this point.
Kdz is only used for changing the default roms(or official roms).
If you want custom roms (modified rom based on official roms) then you must have recovery to flash them.
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda premium
Or you install recovery or oficial by the means you want or you just try more fonts because you use stock rom and not all fonts look good on stock but im sure there will be more than one that fits and that you will..
Now you advise a new user to fash a kdz just for have font back lol you are crazy
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda app-developers app
Just root phone instal rom manager from market install a recovery for p500 from rom manager app then i get you a zip of a oficial stock rom to flash by recovery or you flash one from forum but if you want flash the .kdz be my guest but then dont cry if you brick your phone.
Someone please tell him wich recovery is stable because i don use clockwork just instal a 5.x.x.x not a 6.x.x.x that is unstable.

Deleted wrong thread

A couple of weeks ago I already offered these fonts in this HTC One S thread. As I bought the S 4 mini for my daughter, I'm gonna offer them here as well. If you like them, simply hit the thanks button, if not, I'm sorry for having wasted your time.
I removed a handful of additional fonts from this pack, which I originally added to support the Viper One S rom:
"Android 4.3 will come with a slightly improved Roboto font. Fontmaniacs can read more about it in a typeface teardown over at Android Police.
Those of you who want to use it, can download this font here in a flashable package. The fonts were extracted from a Nexus 4 system dump.
When flashing this package, it will replace some font files in /system/fonts, so it is a good idea to make a nandroid backup before."
Enjoy.

Can you post a screen of these fonts? I'd like to see what I'm installing. Thank you!
As screeners are not first choice to show differences due to resizing and compression of its data, please have a look at the link posted in OP or, after flashing on your phone.
You can flash this zip to return to your stock fonts.
