Want native screenshots (power+home)? You've come to the right place
All it requires are a few files:
libScreenshotUtil.so
MySketcher.apk
Modified build.prop
Credit goes to the Sensation forums/ROMs and tons of PM questions to random people
The flashable zip below puts the first two files where they need to be, but the build.prop edit needs to be done manually, as everyone has a different build.prop and replacing yours with mine will undoubtedly change things your ROM chef has put into their own build.prop.
Use root explorer or your file explorer of choice and add this line in your build.prop:
ro.htc.framework.screencapture = true
I recommend adding it somewhere at the bottom, but be careful; your build.prop needs a blank line at the very end.
Once the zip is flashed, and the line is added into build.prop, a final reboot will make everything work (unless you do it all in one go).
To use:
Press and hold the power button followed by the home capacitive button. You will then hear a camera snapshot sound, and a toast message will follow. Snapshots can be found in JPEG form in the camera shots folder in your gallery.
Awesome, thanx

Hey freeza, great work. I couldn't get this working, I assume it's because I didn't have the .apk - I don't have time to flash this now, but can you do anything with the app or it's just like a service? Thanks again, keep up the good work!
Working great. Have not seen any conflicts yet on synergy/3d...

Can't do anything with the app .. at least not directly. Maybe there's a way to either mod it into the settings menu or mod it to save in PNG, but as it stands now, no GUI or way to change any settings.

Definitely OK. But you don't need to credit me, as I found it on the Sensation forums. Well, that and a combination of trying to understand why it wasn't working correctly in the first place. Dove into libscreenshotutil.so and voila
Of course Im the unlucky tool that cant get this to work. I did it word for word it takes the pics but u cant open them I get the triangle
I'm curious, does it modify the build.prop or does it replace the build.prop altogether? Will ROM-specific build prop edits be lost upon flashing this zip?

Hi,
Unless something else has been changed, it should simply be an edit to the arrays.xml file in /res/values once you decompile framework-res.apk
Look for the section "status_bar_icon_order" and the default order is:
Code:

clock

alarm_clock

battery

phone_signal

phone_evdo_signal

data_connection

cdma_eri

tty

volume

mute

speakerphone

wifi

tty

bluetooth

gps

sync_active

sync_failing

ime

Good luck, cheers, =)

So the original flash works for me when using frankin-twiz final. I decompiled the framework-res.apk using apk manager 4.8 modified the arrays.xml like you said, (funnily enough its just completely backwards) compiled it back up, signed it and moved it back to system/framework using root explorer. The order is corrected, but as soon as I unlock it it fc's all over the place. Anything I'm doing wrong?

-I'm not responsible for anything you do to your phone-
BOTH JI6/2.1 and JK2/2.2 VERSIONS NOW AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD BELOW
---If you have any requests, dont hesitate to ask, i have no problem building on this theme---
This is my first theme, and I tried to add as much as I could for the first version, and I may build from there depending on feedback.
This is a collaboration of different morphs made by other themers, with a few of my own framework touches thrown in. All credit for original work is given below, I DO NOT ASK OR DERSERVE CREDIT FOR ANYTHING I DID NOT CREATE...if any of the original creators are not comfortable with me including their work, PM me and i will respectfully remove it.
This is a black and blue theme. It consists of framework changes, custom transitions, and also APK themes, which include:
- Google Talk
- Market
- Phone (not dialer)
- Swype-----------------Swype theme not included in v2.2
- Puzzle Lockscreen
Screenshots of everything are attached to the post (the white blocks in the Phone screenshots are not part of the modded framework, they are just to respect my fiance's privacy )
::::I morphed the Voltage wallpaper that is in the screenshots into twframework-res...you can select it through the TouchWiz Wallpaper chooser AFTER applying the theme::::
Installation
NANDROID BACKUP FIRST!!
1. Download one of the .zip files via links at bottom of this post
2. Unzip, and place extracted theme folder in /sdcard/AndroidThemes
3. Open Metamorph and click "Pick existing theme"
4. Locate theme folder and click on it, and click on the .xml file
5. Click "Apply all"....it will reboot after it applies "framework-res.apk"
6. After it reboots, go back into Metamorph, and into VoltageV1 theme, and instead of "Apply all" this time ONLY apply "twframework-res.apk"
7. reboot one more time, and youre done!
-------ATTENTION 2.2 USERS, READ THIS FIRST BEFORE DOWNLOADING/INSTALLING:
If you are running a JK2 ROM and you are going to apply Voltagev2.2, its very important that INSTEAD of clicking "apply all" in metamorph, you instead apply all sub-themes individually, starting at the top of the list and doing it in order. Otherwise your phone will reboot after each subtheme (i have no idea why). ALSO after you apply the last subtheme, which is Phone.apk, you will get bombarded with force closes. DONT PANIC!, just pull battery, turn phone back on, and your morph is now complete.
-----------------------------
LauncherPro Dock: This is a cool dock i found through Google search. I did not create this, credit goes to Google search
To apply this dock:
1.Save image to desired location on sdcard.
2. Go LP settings>Appearance Settings>Dock Background>Custom
3. Locate saved image on Sdcard, and select to apply

If it's a simple PNG replacement that's not a problem, just view the apk with a zip program like winrar, and drop and replace the PNG accordingly. However, if it's anything else like. 9.PNG or XML file that needs editing, you out or luck, as we have yet to be able to recompile the systemui successfully.

Neither changing to apk or flashing the zip works. I'm trying to figure this out too. It'd be cool to have a bunch of different button mods to change to.
sorry guys, guess i failed.
Just copy your SYSTEMUI.apk to your pc, then open it with winrar, add files to archive, copy and replace new softkeys, then put it back on your prime. Create a back up file and reboot.

Hello fellow note owners are you tired of the same ol boring font well i have great news for you and its called a flipfont! I will be adding serveral fonts to this thread so keep a look out.
Lets get started i really hope i don't need to explain how to install an .apk but i will if needed (let me know) so you've got your font you want installed how do we apply it? here's how screen shots below.
