Alternative to screen protectors - Eee Pad Transformer Accessories

If you don't like smudgy finger marks...

The downside is you look like a complete **** and get sweaty fingers instead.

lol, is that a gag item?

The marketing blurb states that "even Paris wears them" should be a giveaway only real losers or the germ-phobics would consider them. Or those that teach their pet rocks tricks?

I received a pack of these for free to review and when I opened them they looked like finger condoms

I'm gonna get a pair; just to wear while using this:

I have had Zagg screen covers before, I have a Zagg screen cover on my 3D. I honestly hate it. Its so tacky and my finger dosnt slide on it at all compared to the screen itself. Unfortunately my wife paid $30 to get it installed on my phone as a surprise so I am going to keep it for now. I had bad experiences with Zagg on my milestone so I am going to stay away. Thus the titel "PhantomSkinz"

Zagg has the absolute First feel of any screen protector!!! If that was the only one available, i wouldn't use one. With that said though, Zagg is freaking impossible to scratch. Guess it's a trade-off, but not for me. I am using a Otterbox that came with one of my cases and the feel is great, just like touching the screen. But... it is finally showing signs of light scratching on it after a month of use. I may try the phantom skinz myself

Just gonna have to break down an tell her bro. I know is tough because you don't want to hurt her feelings. So try to come up with a clever excuse. Or just tell her there is this new company that everyone is using and loves and that you don't want to feel left out, lol.
Oh, and surprise her with some flowers right before telling her about it
Or.... if she doesn't really know anything about it, then just swap them out in the bathroom after showering one night an she'll never know. 6 months from now you can tell her how great it is and thank her again for buying it for you. Lol

If you use the code "winter2011" you get 30% off, $29.95 - discount = $20.95
Wow! That looks awesome!
Very nice! Too bad my Flyer lives inside a folio case. Otherwise I'd consider this.
Fair warning: it took a lot of patience, a great deal of time, and a heat gun to get it looking like this. It was intense.

That hair dryer is weird, by the way. Sometimes the high setting didn't fully turn on.
I'm going to hold your hair dryer hostage. Don't look in the fridge.

Don't fight it. The ladies love my tablet.
Is it just the back?
does it cover any of the front?
I may have to import one for mine when it arrives Tuesday
Better than those zagg type skins.

I like the look, but I am more interested in the texture.
While the Aluminum back makes for a sexy device, it is attrocious for holding. I would like the rubberized feel of either the silicone skin or the hard cover. Then I could ditch the extra mass from the hard cover.
How is the texture on this? Does it feel like plastic, rubber or paper?
newalker91 said:
It feels like plastic, but it's a very grained plastic feel. Not slippery.

Yeah. Simulated wood grain. Think interior artificial wood paneling.

Does it feel cold like the aluminum? I just can't seem to carry the flyer naked, it feels very weird in my hands and I guess I am paranoid about scratching up the aluminum.

I had already looked at the DecaGirl skins... But as mine is also in a folio case, I decided not to get one. But it does look awesome.

Your TFS gorilla screen gives you a skinny reflection

Here's something I noticed about the TFS, if you look at it, well first make sure you polish the screen clean real good, then look at your reflection in it.
Now don't you look like you've been working out for 3 weeks straight.
I am shocked to find this. The TFS has a nice built-in skinny mirror.

I see that you have a lot of free time on your hands huh? But thanks for that info
Maybe my eyelids are too heavy from all the excess weight but I cannot see this wizardry you speak of.
Besides, it is more likely that ASUS would advertise a feature that doesn't work than not advertise one that does.

This.
The first thing that came to mind. It seems like under the right conditions this tablet can bend. I bent mine back after opening it a few times.

Appreciate the heads-up, for those who have more than one rezound (like me). Otherwise it's a rip-off. Like you said, you only need one and they are guaranteed/warrantied for life.
Yea it helped me out all my wife has a razor so it saved us a little bit of money.

I was quite dissapointed with Zagg. They claimed their products cover almost the entire device, at least from their description for the Rezound ones. Turns out they don't.
Are you talking bout full body or just the front screen?

My iPad one does a great job. I don't have any scratches and it keeps the puke (don't ask) and finger grease off the actual device.

I went to bestbuy and they where really helpfull! An employee showed me his iPhone 5 with the zagg shield on it he had it on for 8 months!
But i didn't buy it because it was only for the tf700t and wasn't sure if they have the same screen! They gave me directions to a zagg stand in a shopping mall!
I'll check that out!
Also my Dad and i are noobish with these things! We always get damned bubbles! Is it easy to apply? Bestbuy also offered a service for aplying it but it was another 15$ above the 29.99$ pricetag of the shield!

Dude Amazon is your FRIEND. Had this on for over a year and it's still running strong without any scratches http://www.amazon.com/ArmorSuit-Mil...50576&sr=8-1&keywords=tf300t+screen+protector
BTW the installation is a bit different then most screen protectors, but it really is pretty easy and there aren't any bubbles after unless you are SUPER SUPER sloppy with it.
Zagg is easy to apply. Bubbles come out easy. Just follow instructions use a good amount of the application fluid . It is more of a flexable protector than a hard plastic one like on a phone.
