Didnt find same issue for Sony Ericsson x10 mini
My problem:
I rooted my x10 mini android 2.1 to 2.3 CyanogenMod 7.0 with this version my SD card didnt work. Then tried CyanogenMod 7.9, after restart theres only Sony Ericsson logo on the screen, then I disconnectied battery and phone went to clockworkmode. From there I cant do anything. I have tried to restore( no files ) and then reinstall android but installation was aborted. when I reboot my phone then logo stays.
something happened, riht now only Sony Ericsson logo on the screen. clockworkmode does not work anymore!
I hope somebody can help me out. Its my first Android and im new at this.

don't panic...dis happened to all of us when we were new to android too
u have bricked your x10mini. use the SEUS (the update service) to get back to the original 2.1 eclair ROM and start over again...and of the SD card problem...herez a small suggestion "don't move any app with 'widget' support, widgets or live wallpapers to your SD card...the SDcard might not show on the computer due to this"...

update service can`t do it. It seys An unexpected error has occurred. The application will shutdown.

try the x10 flasher...search the forum for the flasher and also get the latest generic 2.1 zip (it's also available in the forums)...it's an easy fix
Next time try factory reset

Hi guys, sry for creating a new post, but I have a serious problem with the last version of free X10.
First of all, I'm french, so sorry for my bad english.
I have already used the beta 3 without problems... But this time, I have forgotten to flash the pack of apk which contains the market and several apps.
The problem is that I cannot acces to the recovery to flash it or the beta3..
Most of all, my X10 reboots after 1 minute..
EDIT : Now after every reboot, I got something like 10 Force Close..................
Need some help please
Can anyone help me ?
Use SEUS or Flash Tool 0.2.6 using clean ROM...

Did you flash the latest SE Firmware? Zdizihu clearly says that the new KERNEL and BASEBAND are needed so i also suggest you to use SEUS to flash the latest firmware and then use Xrecovery to flash Beta4
no market and SD blank or unsupported files system...help..
please help me out, i just up 2.2 beta 4, i did as what the guide was, and after reboot, i dont see market, and my SD was notification of blank or unsupported files system, can some one help me...thanks
Okay, SEUS is downloading the SE FW, I'm waintin' 2 minutes
Afterwards the SEUS finishes its job, use latest FlashTool 0.2.6 in order to root the phone and install xRecovery and Busy box...
Installation finished.
But when I power the phone, I see the SE logo and then... REBOOT oO
Please need some help T__T
EDIT : the exact description of that problem : SE logo -> SE bootscreen -> REBOOT -> SE logo ->... and so on
EDIT : Okay, the bug is fixed, I just reflash with SEUS..

iom having the same problem...with the beta 4.
-first: do i need to have to flash from the beta 3? (so, install first the beta 3 and then beta 4?)
-second:following what they say, PC Copanion do the same as SEUS?... so i let the client to update mi phone and then do the rooting, xRecovery, and thern reboot and flash with the custom.zip with the Beta4 .zip right? (plus the gapps etc)
Am i doing something wrong?

Please excuse my Japanglish, as well.
I had a perfectly working X10i, and installed FreeX10 Beta4. I preferred stock 2.1 rom so I tried to restore the back up I createded Xrecovery. Then it went something wrong, and I get this endless "force close" message saying system failed starting when I start up. So I cannot get to the programs now which can restore the system. No matter how many times I reboot it is same. Is my phone so called "Bricked"? Is there any way I can start restoring program by pushing bottoms when I boot up before Free X10 kicks in? This is a really costly error.
Hey I have just excelently bricked my Device,I was installing some MiUi over TripnMiUi and the system won't boot up ,it just stays at the Sony Ericsson screen and it won't go after that screen. When I tried SEUS Repair it said there isn't any firmware for my device,if I try to flash with FlashTool it is at the screen anyway. I Don't know what to do ,please help.

Hey people from xda im desesperating I bought this cellular 2 days ago and have been installing apps. The thing is that my mobile wouldnt let me install more apps because the memory was full (and i had app2sd installed :|) so i tried to install a new app2sd with xrecovery with an archive called update.zip
Then I restarted my mobile and it took like 10 minutes to start, it got stuck there at the SE white logo and when it started it was lagged, the cellphone answered to my taps like 10 seconds after
I tried with the xrecovery a format (the third option i believe) and when i restarted the phone it got stuck in the logo again, the problem hadnt gone
what can I do?

Edit: it turned on after 5 mins later and im trying to repair it with pc companion, i will post if it get solved but I dont think it will
Reflash it with SEUS(Sony Ericsson Update Service)! Or download the firmware you want and flash it with flashtool!
i solved it with SEUS, thanks anyway , and I found the problem, as before, I installed another custom zip and my phone got stuck again in the sony ericsson logo and when the menu appeared it was all laggy again, so the problems are with the .zip, any idea about how to solve this?

I have the same problem as you now. How do you solved it with SEUS?
When I start-up my phone, it alway come out the white Sony Ericsson logo and stuck there on and off. I can do anything. I went to SEUS to repair my firmware, also can't help as the PC companion cannot connected to my phone at all.

I used pc companion, connected the phone and repaired it (flashing it with the same firmware it had), and then it worked perfect again, nothing went bad
I you haven't solved it.. I revived my bricked phone using flashtool today.
Had to go to someone with a window pc for it since i only have linux but at least got the mini pro back to live again. I flashed to SE's 2.1, then updated to the latest update via PC Companion.
Then I installed CWM and installed MiniCM7Pro-V6, which f#cking rocks imo
Hey guys, I recently rooted my mini pro and downloaded the perfect rom bt now I have issues getting my phone into recovery mode to install the rom. Iv tried xrecovery bt when I open the application and click the "install Xrecovery " button at the top, it loads 4 a while and then a whole lot of ticks appear on the left, bt three crosses aswel and it doesn't install. Am I maybe doing sumthing wrong? Did I miss a step? Or is the folder saved to the wrong place on my sd card ?

Hey guys, i have been fighting with this all day. i have searched and searched for a solution but i just cant seem to find one.
i am trying to load my SE x10 mini pro with android 2.3 (ginger bread).
i have tried various options from various sites including the above post
after installing xrecovery and rebooting my phone it will not boot into xrecovery.
i have reinstalled xrecovery a number of times trying different versions but to no avail... can anybody give me any advice on why xrecovery wont boot or what i might possibly have done wrong?
thanks a million in advance for any help and light you guys might be able to shed on my problem.
Try searching ''xrecovery x10 mini pro'' in the forum search one of the first results I think is a step by step guide on how to manually install xrec, it worked for me first time and iy me a complete novice on it lol, sorry I cant be anymore help or that I cant post the link but unsure how to do it on my phone hope this helps

My Sony Xperia X10i was funny with its keyboard, it's just gone sometimes, I tried to factory reset, clean cache, install google input to replace the default input, but none of them worked. :crying:
So today again, I used Flashtool to change a new ROM, because I installed wrong Rom, but it was a wrong one (lower version x8) so after rooted, my X10i just stuck in Sony screen.
I checked few places, but it seems wasn't work on my phone. btw, this was the link I was hope can help, but it didn't work for me.

I can't flashtool a new ROM because the phone is stuck in the Sony Ericsson screen, so I am not able to change the phone setting "unknown sources" and "USB debugging"...:crying:

My phone problem has solved! Just need the lower version of flashtool. "Flash stock ROM via flashtool 0.9.18.5 or older (I use ver. 0.9.8.0 - works perfect)."
