Hi all!
I ported the FroYo AOSP theme to our Galaxy3!
If you want to use my theme, you unfortunately need to be on a Deodexed ROM. (This because else the clock won't be black.)
In the attachement you will find an "update.zip" you can install this though CWM.
It includes the:
- framework-res.apk
- twframework-res.apk
- Settings.apk
- Services.jar (This is needed for the clock color)
- android.policy.jar (This is needed for the lockscreen)
The theme works on all XXJPS ROM's! I think it work well on all other ROMS too but you have to try that!!

I think the problem is because you are on JPM, my theme is made on JPS.

You can just upload the themed launcher.
Don't share ported apps as if you'll share them, then the uniqueness of your ROM will be gone !
Very nice and clean theme. Working fine.
Clock disappeared!
OK ,so I install this theme and when the phone boots up it starts freezing on the lock screen and then auto restarts. this happens continuously without a break.so I decide to go back to my original theme.everything seems tobe working fine except I can't see the clock on the status bar anymore nor is the clock app working. any idea what's happening here? ?
im on jps kyrillo's 7.1
its due to modded services.jar .....for aosp theme it was modded to have black clock........so now all u need to do is take stock services.jar and put to ur system everything will be fine.

im on kyrillos rom v7.1 and the extended power menu doesnt work...it quick boots....

Update August, 7, 2011 - Theme Now Works With CM7 RC3 (tested by me)
I've ported this theme for CM7 (I don't know how to create theme chooser apk so this is only modified framework-res.apk and systemui.apk).
Note that I changed SystemUi.apk so that wifi and network icons don't turn white when there's no access to Internet (I have an unlimited plan, so it didn't made sense to me, and was uglier that way).
If you prefer the old behaviour, only push framework-res.apk.
If anyone want's, please port this theme to CM7 theme chooser. Thanks

This is based on official gingerbread framework-res.apk, with customizations by me and a few pngs from zduneX25 (with permission)...
Lge-res.apk buttons are made by me. Feel free to modify this in any way, don't need to credit.
Requirements: Rom 2.1 (tested on elegance swift rom) or Swiftdroid CM7 (tested with RC3)
EDIT: Reupload of the theme. FINALLY low battery notification is working! Phone doesn't reboot when battery reaches 14% anymore. This took days to fix, thanks patryk95juve!
Instalation - 2.1
- Copy zip to sdcard without extracting
- Enter recovery, menu "install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sd card", select "GingerMod_Fixed_Final_Recovery.zip"
- Reboot.
Instalation - CyanogenMod7
just enter the following commands in adb (with command line in the folder where framework-res and SystemUI of the theme are) :
adb push framework-res.apk /system/framework
adb push SystemUI.apk /system/app

This is working without that annoying bug here, can someone confirm? So I can share this theme safely with a friend who doesn't know much about these stuff...

Thats the one used for the soft-modded 20E final by miroslav_mm but modified... was wondering if you can port the one from soft-mod 20D the pulled bar its pretty cool , i've already posted if someone could port it for CM7 but noone has, many users including me like it very much so if you could port it would be nice of you .
Im on joe.stone rom testing, and boy is really fast but i miss the widgets button from notification bar, as i know in 2.1 roms with no CM7 has those widgets its possible to make it for 2.3.1 AOSP rom... would you be interested too???

Wallpaper + dock for launcher pro (dock1.png and some other text icons are not adjusted.)

with CWM recovery
step1: boot in CWM Recovery

step3: choose zip from sdcard
step4: select "Honeygreen Theme (update.zip).zip"
It doesn't work on my phone. When i apply the .zip it always stocks at the bootscreen.

what rom are you on? it only works for JPM based ROM's
I tried it on Stock jpm, alexgalaxys and lestatious rom. Which rom do you use ?

well, it should work without porting on jpq rom's...i have tried steel blue...it is based on xxjpm and it still works on jpq rom...

You can use the one from my ROM too it has Japanese Support,xLoud and Reboot Options all included.

I use stock 2.3.3 region X10i CUSTOMIZEDARO-ARO GENERIC 1241-1846, phone boot to boot animation and have boot loop until I'll pull the battery.
Akila I see on you screenshots you have traffic notifier on status bar, it's always there? or you can clean it?

It will take a minute or two to boot in to the home screen.
I can clear the notification.
all is ok for me apart from when you press power button it restarts the phone, doesn't show any menu. Would hold of for now, as op says, only changes home wallpaper.
Does this change more than just the home screen background or is it everything that's themed.

Maybe you should look into SemcGenericUxpRes.apk
this apk control the system apk background like Phone MMS settings and other
Hi i was so disappointed to see there was no thread for transparent statusbar for cm7 specifically
so i made this thread
How To:-
download the apk
Upload the apk in sd card
rename apk to SystemUI.apk
Move it to system folder
set the right permissions i.e. rw- r-- r--
and move it to app folder
overwrite the original file
reboot

I'm using an Atrix which doesn't have a stable cm7 build yet and I continue to get bootloops after attempting this method

I just made it yesterday night....
I too have diff ICONS....but it's the theme due to which icons are different....
Currently working on Brightness & Sound FC issue....

Hey heard you made one yourself just needing bit of help..., how can i remove the 4G settings from the mod, since my phone does not support 4G and it FC's when i open that.

Just delete the line from <IconPreferenceScreen (some **** about 4g here) </IconPreferenceScreen

so u just ONLY replace ur xml(s) with mine..
