The title says it all. I know that CM7 is in the works, but does anyone know if there's a MIUI rom in the mix too? I would love to have some MIUI goodness on this phone. It would be oh so pretty.

Good call Mike. I'm pretty sure miui.us is based on cm7 so if we get the one the other becomes possible. It'll all depend on someone tackling the port at that point.

Once the bloody loader is unlocked, we can get CM7. That will open the door to a bunch of roms, including MIUI.

But to answer your question, CM7 usually always comes first, then MIUI. This is because MIUI is based on CM7. For future reference, please post in the correct sections.

seriously, I thought the part about not being afraid of sprint tech support was kinda funny. And it IS the general section. But I also get tired of wading through bull**** to fifind threads that matter. Maybe a more descriptive thread title so I don't click on it...

Where CM9 is almost ready for SGS & SG Nexus S 2 but we haven't any ICS Port yet! Our phone is one of the most powerful among the market..So why not anyone come forward?
Being a Tegra2 device we need some support from the manufacturer. Good luck with that one, it'll be a long wait.

Opening a thread asking rhetorical questions won't make it come faster. If you want it that bad - make it yourself.

I'm just wondering. Does ICS for the XOOM count as support from the manufacturer.
Nvidia says theyre finally going to help us, only a matter of time before official CyanogenMod support, says Ricardo.

The last time someone said this, someone actually said yes! The response to that was... don't bother. You need experience and knowledge.

XOOM is an official Google device.
SO you can understand it as support from Google.

DooMLoRD
P.S.: kindly do not fill this thread up with questions on "when will this be released" and "thank you" posts, else i will have to close the thread till we release it...

Welcome to SGS2 forum mate and good luck with you touch recovery! Look nice!
If you don't want anybody to comment, why you opened this thread in the first place. This is not a parking spot that you are reserving a place. Xda is not running out of space. Better close it now or start giving beta releases. Other wise this thread is baseless. Don't mean any disrespect. Cheers.

Talk about attitude and complete ignorance. You sir did "exactly" what you claimed you did not mean in your little disclaimer in the end -> disrespect !
Have you got something to share ? a little project that your have spent countless hours for the benefit of others without asking anything in return ?
The op reserved the space to share useful information once it becomes available so it does not get buried in hundreds of pages later on, common sense really.
@op , would be real nice mate as i have seen sommat similar on htc sensation, good luck and thanks.
Ok, better close it now since drama is only at the begining.
Btw, the recovery works fine. It need only some other test for the release, Doomloard made a great job, i'll let him know if it works all fine and maybe he will release a beta for tomorrow.
Could it be Jellybean? I just got notification of an update that is 336 MB. I would have to assume that an update that large would be another whole version. Right? Anyone else get anything?
You and me both my friend. I'm rooted and unlocked though

In order to close thread hit the report icon and request it there. Mods are usually very busy and do not have time to read every post in every thread that they moderate.
Not true. Some mods have more time than they know what to do with. You can find plenty example of mods over-reaching their power. Apparently, some mods DO read everything AND more.

Not at all, this site has 4.5 million users, it takes a huge amount of organization to run and has extensive rules to enable smooth day to day operations.
One of those rules in the S3 forum is no best Rom threads. Coming here and being arrogant and rude won't win you any friends and may well get brought to the moderators attention.
My suggestion to you is to exit, and re enter by the front door, reading forum rules and familiarizing yourself with the forum layout, then start reading up on the relevant information you seek, different Roms suit different needs, and developers don't really want to become part of an unofficial best Rom competition.
Choice is yours, abide by the rules and behave in a civil manner or take a hike
