I recently rooted my Droid Eris and currently am running 2.3.3 on it and was wondering if there is añyway to update the market to run applications that were not available on the 2.1 Eris? An example I am trying to install stupid zombies but even the apk file wont let it install.. please help
I'm not sure about that particular app but most apps that can't be found in the market on the Eris are not listed because they aren't compatible with the hardware. That said, some of the apps that can't be found on the market for the Eris can be found on sites like getjar. Not all of them run well or at all though.

So i'm now running 2.3.4 and the new android market, one thing i've noticed is that i can't see all the apps in the market that i once could. I tried a google search and came up with 2 apps- Market enabler and market access. I installed both, set the sim thing to t-mobiles, but i still can't see the apps (onstar for example).
Any tips on getting the market restriction removed?

Well i recently received my invitation to Google music, currently uploading my ja-massive(yes that's a word) collection to Google Music so that itself is going to take forever.
However my x10 Mini Pro can't install the app from the market (it just doesn't show) although I know I can just download and install the apk , it's not the only app I'm looking for which won't show on x10 MP market place, I am currently using GingerDX v007 ROM , upgraded from Slade's CM6 v5.0 ROM , now on that ROM I had my market app unlocked, I could install apps whether they FC'ed on device constantly or not including Google music, YouTube remote and many others. Only problem is i forgot how the hell I done it can anyone help? I remember getting it from somewhere and I'm pretty sure it wasn't one of those market switchers (switch it to American market place) because I attempted that and it still didn't show the Google music app. i think it's something i add to the build.prop but I'm probably wrong! help someone thanks in advance!
I'd rather have the official app downloaded off of the store for future updates rather than reinstalling apk's all the time.

The market place says that the app is not compatible with the phone.
There are some new apps on the Android Market: MotoChat and MotoPrint. Does anyone have the apks for these that they could upload? Would they work on the Atrix even though the Market claims they're "incompatible"? (Samsung said that for ChatOn, but it works just fine).
