i want compile de new kernel of gingerbread.
i use this guide http://www.androidworld.it/2011/01/14/android-kernel-compiler-34032/ but i must have the git of lg's kernel.
can i have any help please?
edit: i want overclock the smartphone so i must edit the cpuclock.c but i don't know what i must edit because there are some tab of frequency.

Maybe you firstly need to compile a clean kernel download LG kernel sources and then do make you know

I am a total noob at kernels aka I can't do anything, I need to unpack the kernel and change the init.rc, so it would be great if one of ya'll could help me with it: HERE IS THE LINK TO THE STEPS, there are only two steps so if you could it would be very helpful. If its not open source then no. Without the source there is no way to get it ported to the Android OS
