Looking for a stock Gingerbread ROM with the normal tweaks that has not been themed. I actually like the look of the new Motorola UI but would like a more optimized ROM.
Any suggestions? It's hard to tell from the ROM threads what has been themed and what hasn't.

I believe that would be one that is stock but rooted. Maybe bloatware taken out as you go.
I really liked NeroV3 it has nearly no bloatware, touchwiz removed, and it uses the stock home from the nesus one! it's amazingly fast, battery life is amazing, and yes its for the vibrant

touchwiz. The thing is that im flashing a rom for my friend and he doesnt want a theme just a fast rom.

yeah the toolbox looks like a nice addition...and some of it would be useful for us...but thats whats great about different roms etc...some have some options, some have others

That toolbox had tons of options. It also minimized the need of 1000 requests for this and that theme, keyboard, icon set, font, boot animation, boot logo, etc

Had this on my Droid 2.. the tool box is amazing and works on other phones too ...some stuff not all.
But it is a rom based of Blur ..our Roms are based of Touchwiz so no it can't be ported

What is the most stable stock ROM available that is flash-able through CWM? I enjoy the stock Moto 4.5.91 ROM but I want to theme it to look more like stock android. Thanks!
Homebase is the most "stock" rom. You can get it with and without blur. But cm7 is the most stock android rom. Homebase is very stable, cm7 is beta but still stable.

I read that KennPenn is taking a break from updating alien. Is the current version of his alien ROM stable and reliable for everyday use?

I'm not very good with creating ROMs but I think it would be cool if we had a complete stock rom that's debloated and has some performance tweaks and a custom kernel
