All,
I'm trying to tweak my Galaxy Tab with ADW EX and Desktop Visualizer. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to create a shortcut to a specific screen ie screen 1,2,3,4.... with Desktop Visualizer.
I know how to create a shortcut in ADW EX to a specific screen, but can't figure out how to do it in Desktop Visualizer.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

Create shortcuts in ADW EX to specific screens, remove icons and text from them and place them under Desktop Visualizer widgets (allow widgets overlapping option in ADW EX should be selected).
I accomplished mine without using desktop visualizer since I couldnt figure out a way to do it with it. I did it by going to Launcher actions > Screen 2 (as an example) and then deleting the text and changing the icon to transparent. I also removed the glow from the icons so you dont see each individual icon when you press one.
Note: I put the "button" on the wallpaper and then this over top to make it work properly.

Joedoe,
I created the ADW EX shortcut with the specific screen. I can remove the text, but when you click on the icons, it forced you to pick an icon. How did you remove the icons.
Also, I check the overlapping option in ADW, but I don't understand how this can effect Desktop Visualizer. Can you please explain?
Thanks!

Use a blank transparent image as an icon. Put the Desktop Visualizer widget next to ADW shortcut and resize it to cover the shortcut.
Hi everyone!
I have got MK802 Android 4.0.4.
I need to do backup widgets and shortcuts from my desktop. I found that shortcuts can be saved due to /data/data/com.android.launcher/databases/launcher.db. However it can't save widgets and their positions on desktops.
After reburning I push that file in its location on the device and see that only sortcuts are set correctly. Widgets don't appear though I continue to see records in launcher.db about widgets.
The question is, how to save my widgets and their position on desktops. Where does android hide those settings?
I am planning to do it using ADB and scripts
Do you have a suggestion?
Thanks everyone!
I have the same issue.
Is there any way to backup the widgets and shortcuts with apps? or backup in computer?
Hi!
Let me know please, where I find folder in the root with shortcuts of icons in TouchWiz (also home screens).
I wont organize all shortcuts quickly and comfortably in PC. I use Total Commander wiht ADB plugin, rooted SGSII, I see all folder but I cant find these folders - where are home screen icons shortcuts, applications shortcuts, settings etc.
Can me help?
Hi all,
I'm not particularly sure I chose the right forum, but hey, maybe you can point me to the right place
I do have an Android 4.2.2 ROM on my phone, and I'd like to have a special widget on my lockscreen widget (it's an app displaying emergency info for paramedics, and as such intended to be shown on lockscreen). But so far I didn't manage to add it - either it takes the whole lockscreen and there's no romm for clock, wheather etc. or I can't display it on the primary lockscreen at all
My best shot so far seems to be DashClock, but among the numerous extensions I couldn't find one that displays any of the installed widgets which I could put on my homescreen.
Did I miss something? An extension? Or is there some generic way or a different lockscreen widget I could use?
Any hints appreciated
I have been searching around for a way to automatically change the lockscreen wallpaper. I have Samsung Galaxy S4. It has a lockscreen wallpaper called "travel wallpaper" which does this but has major limitations (can't select the images myself, uses mobile data). I ahve tried other wallpaper changer apps / live wallpapers, but they only change the homescreen wallpaper not the lockscreen.
I do have WidgetLocker and added some widget that did the trick... but I am trying to go back to the stock lockscreen since WidgetLocker hasn't been reliable for me (it only works sometimes, others the stock lockscreen shows up. Also WidgetLocker doesn't have media controls.
