1. Is it possible making program or something boot loader(?) to show the dialog to check custom Rom between A Rom and B Rom and after that we can load Rom which is running this time...?
- I heard about that there is a something to support this function..
- But what I wanna ask , Do you guys think about three people who are going to University can make this program within 3months.
2. Is there a limit to modify text, Icon size , change color, etc..?
- Any kind of limit to make a Rom..
3. <<Important thing >> what the differences are between making Rom using auto make Rom program like Custom Rom Creator Sutdio and the other way just changing source..?
- I think second way is really difficult but first one is that there aren't not many choices to make our Rom , also I don't think optimizing performance is possible.
- So what I wanna know, how do most of developer make the MIUI or CM7 something like any personal or group Custom Rom?
PS. And I wanna make dual boot loader or Custom Rom for old people..
So I'm asking zoom -in , out something like that ~
Probably better posting this in the Andorid Dev thread

Are you learning about rom development?
You have made a your own rom and want to share it?
Its your first rom thread?
Yes?!?!
Then this is right guide for you which will help you make a good, clean, nice looking rom thread
ROM TITLE:
-- your rom should have simple name
-- in rom title only use [ROM][BASE][SUPPORTED DEVICES]--TITLE[LOCKED/UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER][LATESTUPDATE]
-- in base i mean ICS, GB, JB, AOKP, PA, AOSP, CM7, CM9, CM10
-- dont add any other words in title for example: extreme battery durance, smooth as hell and such
ROM THREAD:
-- mention rom base, and for what you have made this rom (xperia looks, speed, battery, stability and such)
-- make sure that you list every change that is made in rom. It doesnt matter if you had made it or the original developer from who you took base rom. But make sure to give credits
-- dont forget changelog once you update rom
-- screenshots are important.
-- if you want you can mention which apps you deleted and upload them for others so they can install them
-- if there are any bug fixes you posted later dont forget to post it in #1,2,3 post
-- use different size (and color if you want) for title of section (changelog, features , download) and other size for text of it
EXAMPLES:
-- here is one of my rom threads. Im not saying its best rom thread (it isnt for sure) but it will give you an good example.
Check this
-- you can find manny other great rom threads in bigger forums like galaxy s 3, htc one x and such
Hi everybody,
By advance, I apologies for the long post, but I thought it would be necessary.
I'm the proud owner of the S3 (GT-I9300), and I actually run on Darky Rom, with a few audio mods (beats, noozy, ...) installed, and I'm right now interested in DualBooting the smartphone, but I'm kinda lost between the kernels and Roms I could be needing, the way I could have a "GRUB" like on my smartphone that could let me choose the rom to load on machine boot, or anything else I should know.
I'm explaining myself : I chose the S3 for it's possibilities in terms of everything, I mean that the games are beautiful, the quad CPU not fully exploited in my opinion, and I wanted to know if I could virtualise OS like windows or linux inside that powerful device. I've been a [email protected] cruncher since 5 years, and I always thought that when people sleep, there is wasted power, that could be used for bitcoin, SETI, FAH, or any project like that... and beacause software for theses programms are on windows or linux, why not virtualizing them?
I'm a pentester too (backtrack... love that thing!) and I saw that the galaxy S2 wifi chip now have drivers for monitoring mode, but I still don't know if that is possible for S3, but I hope so :fingers-crossed: and I was planning on testing it on the phone, but I don't want to have a "non-phone" smartphone without an android on it.... So here came the dual booting idea...
And recently, I heard about this :silly: : ubuntu as primary phone OS
So I'm hanging on the news about that ubuntu, and so there is my problem :
I don't know what to do about all of this...
So, I'm gonna ask things clearly, now that I'm done speaking about my life:
1. Is there a way for me to install 2 (or maybe 3) OS at the same-time and being able to choose which is gonna launch ?
for example :
-1st ROM : Android stock ; 2nd ROM : Android Custom ROM;
or
-1st ROM : Custom Android ; 2nd ROM : backtrack ARM;
And for this, which ROMs or kernels should I use ?
2. Is there a virtualization solution on android, where Android is the HOST and some others The guests? (like a virtualbox or vmware player?)
And a few other questions :
3. Is there a thread on the forum where I could pick up the best MODS for the S3? (like a stack of mods maybe?)
4. Is there a way to theme Touchwiz by myself ? (like restyling the notifications like this : CM deus ex human revolution , or can someone help me seek all the already done Themes by telling me what to write in the search box ("touchwiz themes" or "TW theme" is not concluding).
5. which are, in your opinion, the best 3D games that shows the power of the S3 at it's best? (I'm seeking fun ^^)
Here! finished.
Thank you for reading, and please MOD, I beg your mercy for this post ^^.
Install Siyah kernel and you will get dualboot for two (or three with a mod) Android roms.

Here's a quick question for the devs - I've noticed, since I use a Galaxy Note 4 - that in our thread, we have CM12.1 and CM13 - trouble is, CM12.1 is NO WHERE NEAR READY FOR DAILY DRIVER USE - so why the hell is anyone trying to put 13 up? Wouldn't it make sense to finish one first, instead of leaving half of us users with a half-finished ROM in pursuit of something bigger? Fair enough, it's a title to be the first with a new rom for a device, but seriously? I've been sitting here downloading 200+Megabytes DAILY to be able to TRY and use my phone with a custom ROM... What's so difficult about finishing one ROM before starting another? Merge all devs together on one type of ROM for a device, then tag-team all the other ROMs in a thread up to scratch? Might be an idea so we have multiple ROMs fully finished for many devices, then we can look into dual or even triple-booting those devices... Just asking - thoughts?
Is it possible to port some particular feautres of any given Rom to another Rom(say Stock android rom) keeping all the properties of the Rom remain same.
Explanation:
Let us say we need some features of a MIUI and some other features of EMUI, Is it possible to add those features from those roms to the original Stock rom or Some other Roms of the mobile.
Also Is it possible to make the Rom of some other mobile (which has similar specs that of my mobile ) to work on my mobile..
Actually I am just a noobie & newbie to the field of porting Roms, I had these doubts stuck up in my mind from long time.
Some people extract the APKs from specific ROMs (for instance, I managed to get MIUI's Ambient Doze working on a different ROM) and install them on other ROMs.
However, that isn't always the case because some mods have been built into system APKs such as the SystemUI apk.
