Hey guys,
Havent been on in a while, now im confused and need some help. Ive been running Shiftsense 1.4X since it was released months ago before DroidTheory vanished. i feel my radio is starting to act up now that big red flipped the 4g switch in my area. i came to look for an update rom to run, but now everything is different. It appears the radios are separated now and ive never flashed them that way and i just need a little advice on getting my phone back up to date. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

You can still find them together if you search hard. If you cant, just flash them one at a time after renaming, thru bootloader. Its really pretty simple. Several good roms out thsre. Eternity is fantastic with sense 3.5 and beats, shiftsense is awesome also, gingerbread rock is the latest leak stripped down and rooted, i keep it on my sd card for when i need that basic rom. Make sure you update your radios first. The mr4 3.0 leak and thunderstick fullblown are also great roms. Good luck dude.

Does anyone happen to have a link to the most recent radios paired up as one flash through bootloader? I can't seem to find one. I'd really prefer flashing them separately last resort. Just a comfort thing I guess.

There is a newer radio than what is shown in that thread, look for the 2.11.605.9 radios.
I wanted to downgrade my HBOOT from 2.21 to 2.11 or 2.10 I've heard that there is way but at a risk to brick your device. so if there any devs out there that needs a Test subject I'm here just Pm me. the only reason I'm doing this is to go back GB and there Radio.
Good luck my good sir. I salute you. If you find a way, let me know plz, as this radio has all but killed cell reception for me.
As it currently stands, I'm hoping that the OTA update on the 6th is a new base with a new radio.
The new radio works so well on ny phone. I'm so happy I upgraded firmware. Sorry that its not the case with you guys

they already tried this and could not brick it.
To all with problems with radio I had issues and relocked and ran the upgrade again so you could try that it helped my battery drain and signal problems.
htc rezound
Rom: BAMF ICS v2.0
kernel: SebastianFM
I might have to try again.
Seems to me there'd be a lot more complaints about reception if it were a real issue.
It's gotta be either a bad download, or something I'm doing wrong. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong though, cuz everything else is running great.
Will the OTA release require everyone to re-base again? It may be worth waiting for that.

Well it doesn't force the to rebase they will choose to which they probably will but if their is a problem for those of us who already upgraded on the leak I'm not sure if we will be left behind or if someone will fix it for us I know I will try like hell but I'm not as good as most of these devs

So, I got a Rezound last week, kind of hoped that it would still have GB on it, but found out it had that recent ICS build on there. I didn't think much of it until a couple days ago...
First, I think I know the answer already, but since I have this "leaked build", I'm guessing there's no going back to stock GB? What was upgraded besides the ROM (baseband, firmware, etc)?
Second, people are saying that when I talk, it starts out at normal volume, then sounds like I'm holding the phone about 2 feet in front of me while talking (in other words sounding very distant), and coming back... Now, the only person who has actually described the problem is my dad, who has a Thunderbolt. My wife has an Inc2, and has not mentioned any problems, however she may not know what to listen for, as well as others, etc... I've also tried disabling 4g and using 3g only. I am wondering if this is some kind of radio issue?
Third, the bluetooth doesn't seem to have a lot of range. I have a couple bluetooth devices I use often. The first one is a Panasonic KX-TG6581 cordless phone which utilizes bluetooth on the handset to be used as an extension to the cell phone. On previous phones I got whole house coverage (I live in a single level 3000sq ft home). On the Rezound it disconnects at the ends of the house... I also have a Turtle Beach headset equipped with bluetooth. It seems to work fine when initially calling or getting a call, but then there's there's this weird static (kind of sounds like old dial up negotiating tones?). I wonder if this is because of bluetooth 3.0, but not ruling out the headset and rf/bluetooth interference
Last, even running with the extended battery, unless I shut off mobile data altogether when at home (which I should probably be doing anyway, but coming from other 4g phones I never noticed until now), I can stare it for 5 min and watch the percentage dropping. On wifi, not too bad. Just worried if I'm in 4g all day with no wifi will the extended battery last, say 12 hrs? I have no problems keeping it on AC power when at home.
Hope I didn't sound too noobish LOL... thanks for any suggestions.

if you have leaked ics (3.11.605.22) on your phone, you won't be able to return to stock gb.
how about re-flashing the leaked ics to see if the radio, bluetooth, and battery issues can be fixed.
Did the phone come brand new with leaked ics or did you buy it used

When I got the phone, we did the sale inside a VZW store, the salesperson turned it on, and it was at the Welcome to Android screen... Thought it looked like ICS but wasn't 100% sure (should have double checked, I know)... even the rep didn't check... So, I'm guessing it was a fresh flash? Of course, not knowing exactly where it originally came from... don't know if that would make a difference?

You mean to the seller? No, I bought it off Craigslist so I think I'm stuck with it. Doubt I would have any recourse at a VZW store... not 100% sure about a replacement since the tech will want to know software version, etc...

Okay.. I'm a bit confused. Were there earlier leaks that would just let you install on a stock phone? I'm not rooted and saw that it was S-ON when I was in the bootloader?
Is the latest ICS the one that was released around 3/17? I just want to make sure I got the right one here...

Yeah there have been a few leaks. The older ones didn't run so well and didn't have the updated radios or hboot. The RUUs are supposed to be run on a locked phone. They are signed releases from HTC. Yes it was leaked around 3/17. I am on it as are many others and it runs fine.

looks like u just need to flash 2.01.605.11 ruu and you will be stock non-rooted
http://www.scottsroms.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=76
Okay, I flashed with what I think is the latest leak. All bootloader info is the same except I have a radio of 1.22.10.308r is this the latest now?
Still having the same issues.... guess I'm stuck till the official ICS comes out so I can get a replacement?
There was a radio in the newer leaked ICS ROM with a slightly different ID. The threads are not specific enough to determine if the radio image alone is actually different from the earlier one, and if so, are there any improvements (or problems) associated with it?
Have been thinking of flashing it, but don't want to di it if no benefit.
The radio is the same. It has exactly the same md5 checksum, and the same version #.
yeah my signal since the first ICS leak is terrible i get edge only in my house now its terrible. and now hearing that the "new" radio isnt any different im all like....

Yeah, I have the same problem with the radio, since going to the ICS one, and I'm stuck with it, because I can't get S-off. I am considering dumping the Amaze because of this. So frustrating.

My signal increased with ICS also. Maybe try reflashing the RUU and see if it makes a difference.

I am curious to know whether the bootloader would flash a RUU that contains the same release number (probably it looks for the build number) as the one already installed on the device. I don't think it would flash older versions, though.
I'm kind of new with the TB. The used phone had the OTA on it when I bought it.
The WIFI on this phone really sucks. If I look at my router log, it constantly disconnects and reconnects.
I don't see anyone complaining about it. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with it so far. I think when he sold it to me he did a factory reset so I don't have the issues that others have.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
Make sure the wifi isn't set to disconnect when the phone sleeps. Its in the advanced wifi settings.

Thanks...I've been playing with that. I was hoping for something else that might help.
The only other thing I could suggest is changing the wifi scan interval. Lower the number so it scans more often but its also possible that ics and your router don't agree.

Check your Radio versions--the Tbolt can be pretty temperamental if you aren't on the right combo. Santod has a link to the most recent ones over in the development section. Download, rename to PG05IMG.ZIP, reboot into bootloader and flash.
Also, are you sure you're running the most recent OTA? The earlier ICS builds were pretty janky.

I have realized that the latest isn't always the best. I have downgraded to the first official ICS radios and running so much better then latest.

Hey, whatever works; glad you found one that plays nice with your hardware. I'm not sure if it's still true, but in 2011-12 Tbolts had a reputation for being temperamental--it seemed like the radios were all very slightly different, hardware-wise, and things that worked on one handset wouldn't necessarily work on another. I've personally had good results with Santod's most recent pack (the decompressed version on infectedrom), but lots of people still swear by the radio from OTA 605.9.
Second this there were a bunch of tbolt that were defective
