I actually know somewhat the difference is the main question I have is "Can any theme install to any rom?" I do understand there are certain requirements some must be deodex.. version of GB or herbal must match.. but if you meet those are you ok?

As long as the base version is the same you'll probably be ok. The only problem I see is if the new theme doesn't replace everything the old theme did you'll have a weird mixture of themes.

There are instructions to port any theme you like in this forum. That one will work if you use the CM7 pre-beta in the General section, but that's not really a good choice for daily driving unless you can deal with its bugs.
If you wait a bit from looking at the issue tracking they should be getting close to beta and then you can use any CM7 theme you want with it.
Or you can request a Theme Port or learn to do it yourself with Notttach's great instructions.

So while enjoying the ROM I was trying to see if theme manager and theme chooser can be installed I truest but keep getting an error install message I'm a noon well not really just never posted in two years or so lol but any idea I'm on the EVO 3d

I believe theme chooser is for cm7 roms and maybe some tmobile right roms. Sensless rom has rom updater app built in which has some stuff. But flashing a theme is pretty easy through recovery. Just make sure you nandroid backup first

Also, make sure the theme is for your verison, i.e. 2.3.3 or 2.3.4.

Lots of theme compatible For CM7 if you search on google, or here. also on Google play. ICS theme, HoneyCom theme, Gingerbread , Miui, LunarUi. yeah. etc!!.
