No, miui/CM7 do not have working GPS right now, and because of the code used for those roms, GPS implementation is way different than the Samsung roms.

Streaming as in Netflix or what? Check brightness settings, make sure it is turned up and autobrightness is not on.
No in general lit dims itself

Streaming what exactly? And try reflashing rom, kernel, etc... kinda hard to understand your problem. You could be streaming a lot of different things.

I am using 3.north-america.pool.ntp.org for my GPS configuration. Is this good, I heard some people using us.pool.ntp.org. Which seems to give more accuracy?
