Before I start, this deal is only in the UK but other country's may have similar pricing but I cannot guarantee it.
Title is self-explanatory really. Great hardware at a great price. Hope this attracts potential devs for this awesome phone.

in india its INR 12990 here
Picked one from CPW this evening. Got mine in white with the T-mobile simcard thrown in. Looks very good in white and was unlocked. It is a big upgrade from my LG Gt540, very impressed by the speed of the little beast, Flash 10.3 runs very smooth, apps open quickly. Very pleased to get a Qualcomm 8255 processor powered phone for this money.
pcworld - how much was that and was the bootloader unlockable? I can get a free upgrade to this phone from my Voda contract, but I expect that'll be Voda branded and have a locked down bootloader - so will probably upgrade, sell and buy sim free.
bootloader is unlockable through se website, not sure if it applies to branded phones too or not. but be sure that it will void your warranty
Phone was unlocked and unbranded cost £149 + £10 compulsory topup.

They had generic black and white unbranded versions in the store, all were unlocked GSM stock, they are not networked linked . You pick the colour you want and then they give you a T-mobile sim pack which is preloaded with £10 credit or an orange sim. I haven't opened my sim pack as I have a T-mobile payg sim with free internet already.

Can you check on yours is the right hand capacitive button on the screen as responsive as the left back capacitive button? My right button just seems a little less responsive.
Cheers

Hi to all,
Seems there is no need for SIM unlocking the Vario....
I operate it with an Alice Card, which means working in E+ - no Probs at all!
Best Regards!

Varioprices in Germany
Just to say it:
Prices for electronic devices are much morre expensive in Europe - even without the temporary high $/€ exchangerates...
f.e.: the Vario IV without contract of T-Mobile costs almost 800€ - in the states you´ll get it for this price in US$.
So......
Best regards
My cell phone is dopod 830,also called Prophet,it used for more than three years. Now is Chinese Spring Festival, and I can be given sums of money from the adult.I wanna to buy htc Diamond 2 before, but since I have tried to play htc G2,I had been attracted, althought I haven't used Android System before.
To be honest,WM System is more attraction to me.Lately I found Toshiba TG01 is become cheaper than before, and the price in oversea buy is better than in China. So I wanna to buy it oversea, but I haven't decide where to buy is the best choice.I have friends in Toronto,San Francisco and Australia, and some of them will come back China lately.I want to know where to buy is more suitable? It's better to buy an unlocked phone. And can you show me the price you know?
Thx of all.
In UK you can pick 1 up for £150 and £10 you can unlock it on the web. Don`t know what the other countries are charging tho. May be Ebay you can get it cheaper. Good luck.
eaby cannot use in China...althought i have an international credit card, but is in US pay not UK...
can i unlock the machine myself?
£150 is very good price!I wanna to buy in Hong Kong, but need nearly £250, a bit expensive...

Still not unlocking method. Think before buying. If it's me I go buy a Iphone 3G. I did the mistake buy one. For Iphon you have a lot of help and program. TG01 have = 0. It's true have a big skreen and is fast but still hard locked.
Think before buying.
Maybe iPhone 3GS is better.I agree that iPhone is a good machine, but in China,we cannot use wifi everywhere as western countries. What is the worse, that Youtube cannot be connected. If I live in Hong Kong,iPhone is my choise, without thinking.
But you said that TG01 is = 0,I think it's too exaggerate.Although its now popular as htc,but it still a wm phone, isn't it?

Proobably can't do GPRS, and instead of the 3G icon you get HSDPA instead, and a roaming icon
Cheap price seems always far from me...what bad luck!
Well..i got mine in Italy over the net and got it mailed to me in Malaysia where I work just over a month ago for EUROS 280:-...compared to when it was first launched in 2009 and it was going for EURO 560:- or something in that neighbourhood of prices
The additional good news is that from the moment I got it and turned it on until now:
1. It has never hung
2. The audio in-call quality has always been great.
3. It is damn fast and showed little or no lag.
4. Battery is good enough unless you are using wifi and playing around with it 24/7
5. Ringer is a little on the quiet side (reminds me of the Motorola 'Ming' I bought 4 years ago) BUT it is not at all as bad as many have described.
Guess maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones but then again I guess I did something with my TG01..basically I did NOTHING never tried changing flashing ROMS, installing Manila, Jakarta etc or whatever else was never intended to be on it in the first place.
Now might the time in the UK to buy one...
I keep being tempted by this phone, just because of the size of the screen alone. Also, in the Orange shops here in the UK, the unit price has gone down to £129, but I don't know what the obligatory top up would be. If anyone has one here in the UK, what is the multimedia on it like? Are you able to download BBC iPlayer programmes to watch on it when commuting etc.? I'd be grateful for any input

Yes, if you use a program like Iplayer downloader or similar you can download videos from iplayer (and automatically remove DRM) and then play them on the phone, I watch videos almost every day as I commute; the good thing is that the core player that comes with the phone has got hardware acceleration so the videos are played smoothly and it play xvdi/divx files (if you know where to get them from )
Cheers
Hi I think if you have a problems with budget, than TG01 will be sold in Eastern Eur with 40% discount. If the point isn't in money, than wait for a TG02, its a real HD2 and iPhone killer
If I was to order an unlock Titan II off ebay would I be find to use it in the UK on three with no problems?
Let's hope so. I am awaiting delivery of a Titan 2 from across the pond [email protected] Branded but unlocked, In theory it should work on 3G but may involve manually inputting APN settings, I am on O2 but if it works then no reason why not on 3 network, Let you know when it eventually arrives
Just chatted with a HTC adviser and they said it should be ok for O2 seeing as the Titan 2 covers the 900mhz frquency, Not sure which 3 use but reckon will be ok.
I wonder if it is possible to buy a non at&t branded titan 2. Do they exist?
Now there's a very good question, I guess in theory they should exist but just not available to the UK market, The crux of the Titan 2s I believe were mainly for AT&T, I must admit I would prefer an unbranded one but think I can suffer the logo on the front for now at least.
I could not live with the logo, unless i can sandpaper it off, put a black sticker over it or buy a replacement housing form ebay
awesome
Let us know if it works, I am currently torn between ordering a Titan 2 from the US or a Lumia 900 (so much cheaper on ebay sim free from the US than they are in the UK.)
I am from Norway and got my Gear S as a gift at the Samsung Developer Conference. It was locked to AT&T. I unlocked mine using cellunlocker.net. I received the network lock code less than an hour after submitting the order and it worked like a charm.
However, here in Norway we have GSM 900/1800 and the AT&T device is only GSM 850/1900 from what I can find on the net. Which matches my end result of not being able to connect to my network even after unlocking.
I should probably have thought of this before spending 29USD on an unlock code, but anything less than Quad-band on a phone just seems so '90s. As I do not have a compatible Samsung Phone either, the device is pretty much useless for me without GSM. I have Sony Z1 Compact (great), iPhone 5s (meh), Lumia 920 and 1020 (great), so buying a new phone is not an option at the moment.
Is the GSM-bands controlled by firmware or are there hardware differences between the US and European versions?
Does anybody know if it could be possible to load a European FW and get GSM 900/1800?
I'm fairly sure that's hardware controlled. Sorry
I also wish these were quadband.
You could try to sell yours on Ebay.com (I see they are currently going above suggested retail price), and buy one in Europe. They are, however, a bit more expensive there, EURO 390 in Germany including tax, for instance, but they also don't have SIM lock there.

Have you tried contacting your local Samsung Developers on Google+? Samsung Developers US are very responsive on there.
I can't believe they didn't think about that!

I mean contact them to find out if they can replace it with one that actually works where you live.
Hi all, I'm looking at pre-ordering but seems its possible the UK only gets the single sim version. Can anyone confirm? Even carphone can't be 100% sure but they say that if theres a choice from the manufacturer, then Carphone Warehouse choose the non-dual sim version.
Dual sim is very important to me hence why I'm asking.. If anyone knows - do let me know.
I am wondering the exact same thing. All previous huawei phones they have sold have been single sim so I would assume this will be no different. According to GSMArena a single sim version does exist so chances are it's that one carphone will stock. It would be a shame though as their price is pretty good and includes a smartpen thing but single sim would be no good for me either
Called them again and they do say its single sim... :/
Yea price is great at £699 plus that free moleskin thingy..
For UK single sim only, and only titanium grey color
http://consumer.huawei.com/uk/phones/mate10-pro/specs/
If you can get someone to buy one for you from Germancy, France or Netherlands, you can get the dual sim version and in other colors options as well:
http://consumer.huawei.com/de/phones/mate10-pro/specs/
http://consumer.huawei.com/fr/phones/mate10-pro/specs/
http://consumer.huawei.com/nl/phones/mate10-pro/specs/
And in Germany you are getting the Moleskine pen as well:
http://www.huawei-promotion.de/denkt-mit/
To get the free moleskin in Germany , you need a German address for the gift to be posted to. Amazon Germany has the blue. Main issue is the plug isn’t UK standard and if you want fast charge then you’ll you need the UK one.

That's not true. Even if you get the official Huawei Fast charger in the box but it has the wrong pins for your country, just use a travel adapter. I got mine from China. It came with a 2 pin official fast charger and a 3pin UK adapter. Super Charging works fine with an adapter.

Also, fast chargers aren't exactly friendly to batteries, so if you do get a foreign charger just use a standard brick and help maintain your battery. Keep the 2 pin with UK adapter for when you really do need a fast charge.
Showing delivery tomorrow, 16th, instead of the 17th as previously advertised. That'd be great. I should have in my hands tomorrow the pro then.

Yup, I received my Pro on the 16th around 1pm, was fantastic to have it a day before advertised although it didn't include a nano SIM so I had to go hunting around town for one.
