i have the nexuz s 4g and i have the ice and fire rom installed but i want to flash MIUI and its not letting me do so for some odd reason . help would be appreciated! thanks.
congrats on the nexuz. more information on the problems your facing will be needed to determine whats going on.
what procedures are you following? (step by step)
Flash back to a stock ROM and then try to flash miui.
What recovery are you using?
Etc. we need more info to help

ok i got it to flash and now my 4g option isnt there no long so basically i have a 3g only phone now -___- is there anyway of getting my 4g back on this ROM or did download the wrong one ?

Miui is currently closed source, which means no 4g. Miui android has said they are working on 4g but idk.

You should really read post#1 of a ROM thread. Flashing and no reading is no good. Miui doesn't support 4g. Just friendly advice.

nope. no 4G. probably will never have 4G.

you can even install the latest, use gingerbreak to root.

And again sorry, But its not like the world is going too end because of this mistake i made.
All it takes is a mod too come by and move it if they want.
But ya got my atrix on 4.1.5.7 rooted
Moved to proper forum.
Did you root with Glad? If so and you haven't done any mods just accept the update and run afterupdate.bat again.
I was going too make a new thread my next question but decided this thread should do.
I finally got the system updater message on the atrix too pop up for the 1.83 too show, But before i update too that, I wanted too ask that when i update too it i know root will work on it but what about any future mods or hacks? And can i downgrade back too the old ones if i wanted?

Are you trying to remove clockworkmod?
If you use the search function, or just browse the development section for 12 seconds, you can find the stock rom that you can flash in cwm, or an ruu that can be used to get the device to stock as well.

I'm disappointed at the OP for not searching before posting this question. Such an easy question to answer. In fact I'm more than certain that instead of posting this he/she could have searched and found the answer much faster.
I'm closing this now.
I accept, i messed up here... Have a AT&T Galaxy SII, rooted and decided to install a new ICS ROM... Went into CWM and backed up existing ROM, then installed new ROM.
Now I do not get any Voice on calls or via speaker... I tried restoring the backup from CWM and NO luck....
Can anyone please help... how do I fix this issue so I can make and recv calls.

Lucky you didn't hardbrick by flashing stuff without doing your research first.

Same happened to me. Install a UCKH7 modem.
So yer telling him to flash a modem that wont fix his problem, which is the voice calls? Did u see he flashed an ics rom?

These threads should be closed immediately just on general principle.
Any rom that removes voice is best characterizd as a downgrade, not upgrade.
The only ics Roms that work on our phone is in the ported development threads. Other than that, read read read. Good luck.

An yet it is still a dumb thread that could have been answered with some searching and reading.
I have been searching and reading and cannot find the answer to this problem. If someone could please point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. I would not consider myself a "noob" as I have flashed 50ish roms on 4 different phones (total). This problem is driving me crazy. Please share your helpful input rather than trolling back. i did a very dumb thing i forgot the check debug mode before i tried to s 0ff. the phone kept looping . i manage to install a custom recovery and a custom rom but the kernel will not flash since im only unlocked. can anyone help my flash the kernal. i tried using Flaux installer but im running linux and form some reason the command does not work. or is there a flashable gingerbread zip someone can give me?

If you don't know how to flash a kernel you shoudny be running linux chmod 777 flash.sh and every other binary in there smh

hello guys i did some research and i have only found Da-G's thread which is the old revert to stock. I currently have an issue with my note, and i called warranty and my new device should be here on Monday. i will have to ship my old device back, thus ill need to revert it back to stock. whether it be GB or ICS. is there any insight on this. im afraid of using DA_G's odin.tar and bricking the device since i believe it is a GB odin. any light shed on this would be phenomenal.

ok so i found a flashable pure stock ics. i wil flash that, but the only thing that i would need is a recovery. anyone know if this recovery here

would i be able to flash it with teamwin to revert back to stock, and would it be ok with the ICS stock?
Go on ebay and buy a USB replacement port for 5 to 10 bucks. 10 minute job, already done mine.
