I bought an Motorola Atrix (Not 4G , Factory Unlock) from UAE (Deyra , Technotell) , and I think my phone is UAE version... How can I detect my phone version??? (Like UAE version , UK Orange , etc.)
And if my phone is an UAE version Atrix , how can I root that??? Can I use the Pudding way???

Well, judging from your system info, you definitely CANT use the ATT version of pudding.
Regarding international BL unlocker - IHOP, your best bet is to PM the person that created pudding the2dcour with your system info, and ask if international version of pudding is safe for your phone.

Hello evey one i just bought a breand new samsung galaxy s3 , i heard that the 16GB devices suffer from sudden deaths so i just went to softwere update to update the samsung newst update with the fix for it and it wont update , it says " your device has been modified. softwere update are not avalibale " ,the device is new and i didnt root it or played with the settings so why it wont update ?
i went after it to Settings > About device > Status and the device status says : modified.
what should i do for update the softwere ? (without root )

1. You probably don`t have the firmware that is specific for your country. Where do you live and what firmware version do you have? Type in the phonepad *#1234# and post that here please. 2. Or the phone wasn`t new and it is a repaired or refurbished device, look here for instance http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1891519. If that is the case demand a new phone with the seals of the box intact. I`am betting on number 2.

Is it unbranded or a carrier branded device? BTW you should have posted this question in Q&A. Your rom doesn`t appear to be an Israeli rom afaik.

i am using samsung galaxy s2 gt-19100..! my phone is rooted and i flashed to custom rom without taking a back up..! everything working fine but phone lock not working and phone gets stuck sometimes..! so i want to flash to my samsung stock rom or firmware plzz.!! someone just send me the download link alone becoz there are so many links in this forum and dont know wch to download..! plzz help me..!

Go here http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3 use drop down boxes to answer questions (phone,type,model,country etc) then select your firmware from there. nobody even me are going to spoon it to you that easily.

Did you flash without a wipe? Because it's not normal your phone gets stuck and all that.

Ofcourse its a custom ROM so will be having some problems/issues...check the ROMs before installing...not all custom ROMs are defective, many are way better than stock..
Follow the exact steps mentioned on the thread of the ROM you installed...give preference to recognised developers, and check their page properly, they might provide a fix for you problems on the page...

i forgot to say onething..! i bought my s2 in china and now i use in India.! so if have to flash to stock rom or firmware i have to choose country china or India ??
when i went to sammobile to search stock rom it asks country so i need to select india or china ?/ becoz i bought my mobile in china and now in india.! so need to select country india or china ?? i hope you understand !!! srry for my bad english !!

I'm not sure... But there shouldn't be any problem with Indian firmware as far as it's the international version of SGS2..
I've flashed the Indian firmware in the galaxy S2 which was purchased from dubai....no problems yet. ..
I dont think it should give any problem after factory reset...
I suppose only the modem will be different with country change. ..

As far as I'm aware an international s2 (I9100) is just that, any firmware for i9100 should be fine. I'm in the uk and flash rom builds from all around the world regularly with no problems.

I bought a Atrix from DX (because it's cheaper than my country lol) but now I got a problem... in the box it says "ME 860" and in the about phone:
System Version: Version.4.2.11.MB860.Retail.en.FR
Model Number: MB860
Android 2.2.2
Baseband Version N_01.92.00R
Motorola Webtop version: OSHWT_U1_6.54.0
Kernel: 2.6.32.9 [email protected]#1
Build Number: OLYEM_U4_2.1.1
And based on that looks like a MB860 and not a ME 860. I did some 'google' and I could thing in other forum a guy with a ME 860 which in the about phone everything was different and clearly states ME 860.
Strange fact: In the box the manual that came was from Motorola Razr LOL

I think that's the chinese Atrix IIRC... It's essentially the same, except that some things like unlocking the bootloader bricks it....

so,can you see the ‘unlock’ characters at topleft of the screen when you switch on your phone? maybe your phone had been unlocked before.

No, I dont have this `unlock` message at the top corner... all the chinese version have the boot animation in yellow, and mine is red... (i have watched some on youtube) still not sure...
I have the dealextreme version, with the same rare things like yours (ME in box and MB in phone)
I have BL unlocked and I have changed the ROM many times without problems :3

Thx for ur Replay but i have done all those things i have rooted my device and tryed those app GalaxyS sim Unlock and the other one but still no use the phone is still asking for Network Unlock Code still searching but cant seem to find any thin still if u know any other way do tell me i even have changed my cell OS to ICS built for my Country Model but no use.:crying:
