How to restore rooted/bricked EVO3d GSM - HTC EVO 3D

HI,
Once I got my phone rooted through revolutionary tool, I installed the Clockworkmod rom manager, but when selecting the device there wasn't EVO3d GSM, just EVO3d. I selected it and after it installed it it got briked.
I can enter the menu through volume down and power button but factory reset, wipe and all I tried didn't repaired my device that right now stays in the HTC boot screen.
Please help!
Thank you

just install any rom that are available from this forum that are for gsm evo 3d. i was stuck on the same place as you, but it was fixed after i installed other roms from recovery.

Thank you, I've installed High ROM and my phone is working again.
Which ROM did you installed? is it possible to flash the original ROM from HTC? Clockworkmod recovery tool is useless until they add an evo3d GSM option, right?
Thank you again!

Can't boot into recovery with Clockwork

Hello everyone.
I have a rather strange problem with my hero.
I'm using Amon_Ra 1.7.0.1, but I was curious about ROM manager and it's clockwork recovery.
I used included flash option to put clockwork into my phone. everything looked ok, until I tried to boot into recovery itself.
Phone froze showing Android.
I ripped the battery, ROM loaded correctly, ROM manager still saying that I have correct recovery flashed.
I flashed Amon_Ra again, using Android Commander, and it works as it should.
I don't know if Clockwork is worth attention, if Amon_ra works flawlessly, but I'm curious if someone had similar experience.
(oh, I tried to download apropriate ZIP from http://www.koushikdutta.com/2010/02/clockwork-recovery-image.html, but also no luck booting into recovery after flashing).
with regards
brat.haneq
Same here, I used UnrEVOked 3.2.1, rooted perfectly, tried to boot into recovery and nothing, just a black screen with white borders, after several attempts, I bricked my phone, long story, so after a trip to Verizon, I got a brand new Incredible, rooted again with UnrEVOked, and again not able to boot into recovery. So I installed ROM Manager, and loaded an experimental version of CLockwork, I think 2.5.1.1, nearly the same thing happens, except now I got the weird red/green/blue/white boot screen flashing all at once. but the alternate recovery included with ROM Manager works just fineā€¦ I don't what's going on.

Did you un-check fastboot?
Settings>power>fastboot
Yea I did that ..
but I just ended up flashing twrp recovery on my device and it runs well so I guess that solved my issue ..but thanks for the input .
I had TWRP on my phone and through rom manager installed clockwork. Now I have the same issue. I have hboot 1.50 as well, but have been switching from rom to rom no problem until I tried this. I'm assuming installing clockwork over TWRP was bad. How do I remedy this?
Pull batt..then hold vol down and power...

help fixing amaze

Hello , thank you for reading this. I'm trying to fix my amaze, it's stuck on the HTC boot logo. Phone was running latest tmobile rom, i unlocked the bootloader and rooted it to remove some tmobile bloatware using bloat freezer. Well the phone kept having these weird problems so i looked to install a custom rom. I installed clockworkmod recovery and then put my downloaded rom which was in a ZIP file onto the sd card. I booted into recovery, made a backup, then wiped data, then wiped dalvick cache or w/e it's called. wiped partition, then installed the ROM. the initial setup went good, phone said successful boot but when i restart it stays on the boot logo. So after some reading it looks like i didn't flash the kernel. So i found the boot.img file in the rom zip file but now i'm not sure what to do with it. I can boot into recovery but that is it. How can i flash the kernel with just clockwork recovery mod? Please help! I obviously would really like to get my phone up and running.
So as of now i have some custom roms on the SD card along with the OEM Ruby rom. I tried installing the tmobile stock ruby rom and it just says install aborted and it can not install. What should i do now? I juts want to get the phone working now. Thanks
Install 4ext recovery, it will flash the kernel for you, just make sure to turn on smartflash in the settings before you flash a rom if you're still S-On. If you're S-Off, then no need for smartflash

thank you. is there a way to install 4ext when the phone is just in recovery mode? my phone is just at the clockwork recovery main home screen right now. i can mount the drive and put files on the phone but that is it. thanks again
Okay so the tmobile stock rom is on the sd card. I renamed it to PH85IMG.zip and booted into hboot mode, it found the zip package and there was a loading bar. But then it went back to the boot screen. I tried restarting and it wouldn't move past the HTC quietly brilliant screen. I tried using the all in one tool kit to flash 4ext but it just keeps saying waiting for device. Pretty sure it wont work in clockworkmod recovery. Starting to get worried

Too flash the T-Mobile ruu you would have to relock your bootloader first.
As for flashing 4ext with the toolkit, when it said waiting device, were you in the bootloader, or did u select fastboot?

i think he was in recovery. ok so flash 4ext with the toolkit (i think you need to be in fastboot for the toolkit to flash it). then go to tools(in 4ext recovery) scroll down till the end and make sure smart flash is enabled (when it says enable smart flash means its not enabled and you need to click that, if it says disable smart flash then dont touch it you re good). then you can install a custom rom and it wont boot loop
hope this helps
hey guys thank you so much for taking time to help me! i got it flashed with 4ext and now using smartflash i'm able to flash roms onto it. so relieved to get it working, thanks again!

htc dna recovery problem!please help!!!

Hi guys, got a htc dna, unlocked fine the bootloader, installed clockwork recovery.
Did a fastboot flash recovery and entered the recovery.
Tried to install viperrom, at first it was going just fine, when i entered the installation process(after all the choices), phone crashed unexpectedly, and reboot. Tried to enter again recovery, it crashes. No rom now, the phone shoes white htc screen.
Still having fastboot option, i tried flashing again recovery, flashes just right, but then again after i start it,it just crashes!!!
I had previously done the same process in htc one x, without problems. Now in droid dna, i can't understand what went wrong!!!
Any ideas, what to do???!!! THanks!
lock plz wrong section, sorry!!!!

pls help me on how to restore to stock recovery on htc evo 4g lte

Gud day guys...I wana return to stock recovery on evo 4g lte....I did have 4xt recovery rc3 and trying to update to rc9 but unfortunately it won't enter recovery mode,it will just stay long on htc logo and go black then restart to normal windows....I have tried cwm on it...still given thesam fault pls how do I go abt it...ur help will be appreciated thanks in advance
If you've used CWM on your EVO LTE, you most likely have a screwed up misc partition on your phone now. You must use TWRP recovery, as CWM is not supported any longer for this device. If you're S-on you will need to fastboot flash the recovery to your phone. If you're S-off you can install the recovery via PJ75IMG, just like you would if you were updating your firmware.
