Anyone having SMS issues on their Photon after the recent MR update that fixed the silent call issue? I keep getting texts over & over from people then when I reboot, I get a flood of texts I never received on the device. Been happening all day today.

I was wondering if anyone else was having the problem with texts from the web since getting their thunderbolt?
Since switching to this phone my sms updates from twitter haven't come in, also texts from aim have not been working.
Anyone else running into this problem, or maybe have a fix for it?
I've been having these issues along with a coworker intermittedly for the past two weeks, both on verizon running different phones. So I wouldn't say its just an issue with this phone, usually after a reboot or sending a few messages the backlog would come in
Anyone having issues receiving text messages? Apparently my messages are being received but im not getting replies... even tried sending messages to myself on Google Voice - I never get them... Only a few messages have actually gotten to me in the last day or so.

A week ago... just started happening.
Still having issues with this.. been on with verizon 2 days now and they cant figure out whats wrong with my phone. Ive factory reset several times, had them clear my account etc... still doesnt work consistently... What could be causing this?
Same here. Was wondering if it could be related to rooting the device, but I receive the occasional text/pic msg so I know that's not it. I do toggle the 3G/LTE settings quite a bit for battery conservation and I'm wondering if that could be affecting the delivery of text messages.
Any ideas?
I have been having a issue with SMS for months now and its getting really irritating. One day I noticed none of my SMS were being replied to, not normal. Something happened and forced me to reboot the phone. After it fully loaded, a slew of SMS & MMS came crashing through. this has been going on for a while. If i notice I haven't gotten a response, etc, I reboot and low and behold, all my msgs come through!
Whats wrong? All of my outgoing txts are fine, its the receiving end that is messed up. We had very severe storms here in Dallas yesterday. I get weather warnings/alerts on my phone from our local news station but not yesterday... I rebooted this morning only to have 36 sms come through, half of which were severe weather alerts.
I am on the official AT&T 2.2 rom

Wondering if any one is getting texts about one hour late. I noticed if I get multiple texts from the same person, I will not receive them until much later. Also, I occasionally miss calls without knowing it. I found out through voicemails.
Anyone else having these issues? I tried updating PRL and profile. (phone keeps saying there is an updated PRL waiting to download....no matter how many times I update it)

sounds like you might need a refresh of your services on Sprints end (bc of the reoccurring update notification) and hopefully that helps with your other issues too bc they sound like services issues rather than phone issues.
to refresh your services you could call CS and just ask them and tell them what's going on or you can do the same over sprint chat
Ive recently noticed that I can not receive emoji's on my phone, it can send them out just fine but when it comes to receiving them, they come in as crazy foreign characters...anyone having this issue and/or have a fix?
