I want to get in on the fun and Know how of the art of ROM Constructing. Do I need to upload a kitchen, if so can someone point me in the right direction, or do I just alter the zip file for a fellow developers base ( with permission of course ) and go from there. any help..... now let the finger pointing begin....
As you can see I am a long member but been on the bench and now want in on the fun......
So, you're planning on turning this thread into something about ROMs I'm guessing? Any questions you'll want to ask here or here.
To get started with ROMs you'll want to have a Linux box or Linux VM setup, a good file compare utility and apktool. Dsixda has put together a great kitchen that is stickied in the android chef's section.
Heads up, this goes in Q&A
Use google, and get a kitchen

read sticky threads.
Edit:
Just my two sense, I just take a look into your history post's. Just one remark.
you opened 5 new threads, with each time a new question but based at the same thing.
If you take a look on the link I posted and take some time to read it all your questions are treated there. no need to open each time a new thread!
ok. I'm sorry. I will as all the outstanding issues to discuss in one thread.
So .... I don't fine how I can corect convert OEM packges to EXT... Who can help me, please?
who work with extrebuild?

Hey what's good people? I'm not gonna get long winded or at least try not to. I spotted a ROM on YouTube & I know it's only for the International version but I'm just curious to know if anyone would have a clue as to when will our devices get something as smooth & what seems to be complete. So feel free to click on the link , look, see & share.

You started a new thread to ask a question. You started a thread in Development with nothing to develop. You didnt bother to read the sticky threads, rules or the ICS threads in General.

Does the ROM's have to be in the root or can we store & install them from different folders? I mean like separate folders for GB, ICS & JB?
Yes, you can organize your roms like that. I keep the rom and mods for it in a sub folder so related things stay together. I have another folder for modems.

Thank you. It'll sure help keep things organized.
The more organized the better. I always forget what I flash.

Hey everyone, if you guys could shed some light on this I'd appreciate it.
I have fairly strong suspicion my phone (note9 tmobile) has been compromised and is being attacked via shell, scripts, initially via a usb cable directly to the phone now remotely via Apache studio.
I'm really lost in trying to figure out what to do right now to secure my phone then where to go from, I have tons of screenshots but here are just some, if anyone is willing to help I will be immediately responding to everything and I would greatly appreciate it.
My main question is, what do I need to immediately do to stop it, where is a good starting point for researching what's going on specifically with this particular scenario.
