i tried to take clues from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1167080&page=4
and make dsp manager work on stock rom but unfortunately its not working..I replaced libundlewrapper.so with a copy of its own (renamed to libcyanogen-dsp.so) but its not working DSP manager apk installs fine but nothing happens ...Mayb the DSP manager was old ...Can somebody look into this and please attach the "latest DSP manager apk " here

As I remember, cyber avijit had released a flashable zip for his gb rom. And also on more new gb rom had it inbuilt.
Anyway, I will try to look into this.
In the meantime you can try exchanging libaudioflinger.so from cm to official gb. Kindly test it and report back.

I use this dsp manager with GB v20g.Hope it works for u(just install the apk).

ive installed the dsp manager from the 2nd post of the xboarder hybrid thread and it doesnt have any preset equalizer or bass boost option.
does someone have a link to a dsp manager which has these options?

thanks but same options are missing!! the equalizer has no presets! it requires manual configuration.
can someone test this dsp manager and report if its my rom problem or if dsp manager has no presets. im on 2.3.5 miui cobrato, plz test on other roms.
can someone please post the dsp manager module flashable via xrec or an apk from v7 of wolfbreak? ive verified that module to have both the features but dont know how to transfer it to 2.3.5

DSP Manager - is from Cyanogen mod ! And it can't run on ICS (androi 4.x.x)
DSP Manager 2.0
Push the apk into system/app and set permission to rw-r-r
Note: DSP Manager will conflict with other sound equalizer such as music enhancement, audiofx widget and srspanel....So, you must remove other sound equalizer before you can use the dsp manager...
I also included original lib which come with the dsp manager... But you can use it with your current audio libs in your phone...:fingers-crossed:
Be sure make nandroid backup before doing this...

As MIUI's build in equalizer is quite bad.
Use viper mod for sound. Kicks dsp all over.. And any other sound mod. Simply put viper mod is king of sound mods. Try and never look back

Thanks, I actually just extracted it from a CM10 rom, and it works perfectly!
Try viper. Sound quality is so much better than dsp.
