Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone knows some kind of 3d diorama app for the EVO 3D? I think something like this would be a cool app/game to show off the 3D effect! Thanks for your input.
P.s. I did a search first but it came up with nothing. Mods please delete this thread if there is already a thread similar to this one.
Don't worry I haven't seen any similar posts. Interesting idea. I am no developer. but are you thinking panorama but just diaramoa style? Lol

Concept idea
I was thinking a diorama app, I don't exactly understand the panorama diorama app idea mentioned above... Maybe it's even possible to create a drag&drop system that let's you put different items on different 'layers' to create a diorama with 3D effect yourself. Maybe a dev also likes the idea and has the know-how to create something like it.

Lmfao this took me right back to grade school! A panorama is a wide, expansive view... A diorama is a 3D hand-made scene often created in a shoe box...

I've had the E3d since launch. I have been irritated since day 1 at the difficulty at finding 3d images and video (yes I know about yt3d). I also know about a particular post in this forum about posting our own pics and vids. One of those pics was quite nice. Hats off to the poster. But anyways id like to know if anyone has tips or sites to view 3d images and or video. Please don't direct me to youtube or posts in this forum.

Have u even seen the gallery from the lg 3d. Its way better than the gallery we got on the evo 3d. I just attached a zip file containing the apk file and the odex file from the lg. So if u or anyone knows how to port it over plz do.

On this, now that we have temp root can't this apk be signed using stericsons signing tool and be able to load it like any other apk?

I have the Optimus 3D and the gallery app is the normal "3D Gallery" that's been around for a year or so and is in the Market

Now we need the 3d menu with youtube 3d, gallery 3d, camera, games ect, looks really cool
Yes mmace it is the same gallery app. But I'm pretty sure as we all are its the 3d gallery app we are looking for. And yes that 3d menu would be hot on our beastly 3vo's too.

Oh ****! I've never seen that. Now, I want it too. Also, the one in the market doesn't display photos in 3D.

Well, we have s-off now
Hopefully a dev is reading this thread and working on this. My guess is if it doesn't happen right away, it will in the near future. Things will be swapped between these two 3D phones.
I tried using Root Explorer to drag it into System/App, but I still couldn't get it to install/run. Anyone got any ideas?

On a similar topic - is there a search function for Android Market for stereoscopic games / apps? Most that ive found so far say 3D but are just 2d games with some perspective.. The Gameloft 3d games dont appear to be accessibile to the UK either..

To any Dev: task= port Camera from HTC Amaze, the Sensation guys have it ported and it has a Shutter Lag feature plus other things we don't have. Check out the sensation dev boards

Well, this isn't really getting any attention huh? Anyone care to share how different the Sensation port could be from the E3D? Would it be a matter of flipping the 8MP switch to a 5MP and similar things or could it be much more in depth than that?

There's a button. Highlight the text you want to hyperlink, click the button then paste the link. This is all on the PC side that I'm referencing.

Yeah, I'm on the app. I switched over to Tapa since it has a Report button.
There's no option like that on it. So I thought I would just insert the url in the middle of the code, but it's not working.

Theres an 'insert url' option in the xda app, however, I use XDA Premium.
True, but all it does it put the url bracket around it, making it ''clickable''. The code being used to make a hyperlink within a phrase for this forum is bracket, url, followed by an equal sign, quote, then the link, end quote, phrase, bracket, backslash, url, bracket.
[ url = '' link '' ] phrase or word [ / url ]
But when i put it in with the app with the YouTube link that it copied from the YouTube app, it just opens up browser with just http. Kind of sucks. I'm no guru, so I'm just gonna use the old method until I figure it out somehow.
This has to be one of the best videos I've seen using our phones 3D technology. Freakin sweet.

I dont get it. Isnt that what a hyperlink is supposed to do? Make something clickable? I 'insert url's' within the xda app, then I can click on them and it does its thing, loads the url.
You want hyperlinks in the xda app, linked to xda posts, to execute/stay inside the app??

No, look at your first post. It was a hyperlink within a phrase. There's probably a name to it, but that's the only way I can describe it. The app won't let me do that. And when I do it manually, it doesn't work.
