The arrows should be on all keyboards that's nice.

Same problem
I thought I was the only one who loved that keyboard. Those arrows are lifesavers! Anyway I just use perfect keyboard to make one with arrows for now. You can customize it too so that's a plus.

Indeed these arrows help BIGtime... wish to have it back...

It should be an option.

Look at the screenshots in the OP

There is always Thumb Keyboard in the market.
It has arrows.

Those Arrows are Life-Savers, especially Now that I need them the most on my New Evo 3D... because it Doesn't have the Damn Trackball capability it would really come in Handy!

Hey man is Perfect keyboard a Free app? And if so, is it similar to the Stock HTC Keyboard?
Thanx in Advance!

You can use the gingerbread keyboards and hold the space bar and motion up and the arrows are there.

Yeah get the gingerbread keyboard from the market. Hold the space bar and slide your finger up. Hold it again and slide your finger down to get the keyboard back to it's original state.

Anyone know if !!data! and !!diag! works in the calculator on the view too? I just ordered one and am waiting to receive it. At $235 it was a little hard to pass up. Too bad CM7 or 9 will probably never happen for it and I doubt HTC will do much or it either since it did not sell well. Should be good for a couple years till support in the market drys up for it.

It works perfect on the MoPho...I actually prefer the stock multi touch keyboard as the letters are bigger and I have sausage fingers...but it displays no smaller than most other keyboards.

Microsift's Smoked by Windows Phone seems to pick on the uneducated

So I saw the story this morning about someone being cheated out of the Smoked by Windows Phone challenge and what not... First time I heard about this marketing campaign actually so I looked at Microsoft's page for it which is lined with YouTube videos showing how it's faster than any other phone...
The first 2 videos (all i've looked at so far) are "let's see who can take a picture and upload it to facebook the fastest." Of course WP7 wins every time, but what I'm shocked at is their balls to make a dedicated camera button the selling point as if it's a new thing. "If I hold this dedicated camera button on the side, it opens the camera..." Yeah, I can do that too. Then he points out 1 button upload to Fb - swipe left to right on camera to show preview, tap to upload. Yeah, for us, tap preview, tap image to open share option. And everyone seems to be mesmerized by this crap they don't realize they already have! (ok, not everyone has the dedicated camera button)
You could argue that most people don't know how to use Android. Well... same could be said for any new device... They're just picking on those that don't know.
If you want to see for yourself...

Try holding it down -- phone should give you some haptic feedback and then open the camera.
Of course, on the 3D, you can just drag the camera icon into your unlock ring and achieve the same thing.
I just tried myself. Pressed the power button, dragged the camera icon into the unlock ring, snapped a pic, pressed the "Share" icon that appears during the short after-shot preview, and had I wanted to, I could've hit the Facebook option (I didn't ... who wants to see a pic of my monitor??). It took roughly 4 or 5 seconds, less if I were younger and could move faster

I did see that. I didn't wanna turn it into a discussion about that whole thing. I was amazed at how they're trying to spin their whole camera thing. Watching some more, yeah... there are some other things they're more efficient with. But it's still an ugly and uninteresting OS.

Good Free Keyboards for the Rezound?

Im having a hard time finding a decent keyboard for the Rezound. Here is the issue, I really don't like the standard HTC keyboard. The buttons are backwards as far as Im concerned.
Problem is when I try a different one, ICS keyboard from the market, swype etc they are way too small because of the Rezound screen. Also when I say too small I mean the width in addition to the height.
Ive seen a few keyboards where you can actually mod the height but not the width, which I honestly dont get. Well my primary problem is hitting the letter next to the one I actually want because the keys aren't wide enough.
Is there any keyboard out there thats basically the standard ASOP keyboard, but the same size as the HTC one, that would be perfect for me. I cant seem to find one.
Swiftkey Beta 3 is free for now. Best keyboard I've used to date.
Try A.I.type keyboard

I quite like GO Keyboard
I seriously need a new keyboard too. I loved swype on the incredible. It was beast mode, I could text and type as fast as typing on my computer. I can't find a decent keyboard on this thing. I can't use swype because it breaks and can't swype no where near as fast as I could on the incredible. I tried swiftkey and didn't really like that either. I currently use the trace on the HTCkeyboard and I can't stand it either. It's no where near as accurate as swype.
Does anyone know of some swypelike keyboards that don't break on the Rezound?

I think this is a cache/memory issue. I think it's unloading the memory used to open the drawer, and when you come back to it it rebuilds it, hence the lag. There must be a way to keep it from doing that.
