[Q] Name of the png file of settings header - Hero, G2 Touch Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi! I've pretty recently started theming and I am just wondering what is the png file og the (usually) grey bar on top in the settings? I really want to edit it, but all the different pngs I've tried seem to be wrong, could someone please help me? If you look at pic on the top right here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1003381 here it's black: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=932377

[Q] xml file editing question

I'm having an issue figuring out what file to edit to change all of the text white in the dropdown from the status bar.
So far i have all of the text black, except for the text that displays under ongiong when downloading apps from the market or downloading something from the web browser. at first i thought it was in framework-res but im not too sure about that anymore. i would appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction.
THanks!!

[Q] PNG names of drawer icons

Hi,
this is my first post, after a lot of time I'm reading you. I'd like to know if someone can tell me the names of the .png files of drawer icons, because I want to mod a theme where not all the icons change.
For example, for the browes icon, I know that the png file is called "com.android.browser.browseractivity"; for the copilot icon the name is "com.alk.copilot.copilot".
But for a lot of icons I don't know the name. Can someone help me, please?
ps. My defy is not rooted
thank you
Matteo

[Q][Theming] Need help with XML edits for color changes in theme

Currently theming and I wanted to change the colors of certain title bars, but cannot find the XML files associated with the color codes. I have looked in the droid developer website and XDA and haven't found the needed info. I also attached images so persons who may know can answer; some stuff I just wanted confirmed. I would like to change some settings title bar colors and some texts. The arrows point out what I need to change, and the fonts of what I want to change are underlined. This is for the droid charge, just so people know.
[Edit]
I have seen people put images in the title bar in settings so if anyone knows how to do this or has a link to anything about what i mentioned I'd appreciate any links or valid help.
in the 3rd screenshot of the settings bar, that can be edited in framework.res.apk, just look for the bar in drawable-mdpi folder in framework.res.apk and use gimp or photoshop to change the color
nope no good i have edited xmls within framework and none of them change the bars i want. i have edited the pull down bar, MMS apk colors, secondary colors, and none have edited what i wanted. thank you for the post though.
i know it is either in colors, drawable, layout, or values.
The bars have to be in framework, I edited mine and it works using apk manager. hmmmm did you check system.ui?
NookColor Cyanogenmod 7.1 "Overclocked"
yea i have it only changes it for certain instances. the top of the MMS, GMail, the home screen top bar changed, but those i SS in the OP did not change even though i have themed all of the framework-res.apk.

Trying to find Settings png

i am trying to find the Settings png in the attached screenshot so i can change the color to my theme color, does anybody know the name and the location of this png
i have looked through framework, systemui, settings and cannot find it, the only one i can find is ic_launcher_settings in SecSettings/res/drawable-hdpi, but this seems to be the one that shows up in apps drawer
I know it is stareing me in the face, but i just cannot locate it
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am using Alliance Rom v7.02 AOSP Theme

Not sure, but did you try modding the one from SystemUI (ic_launcher_settings)
It on Settings.apk/res/mipmap-hdpi (or ldpi/mdpi/xhdpi/xxhdpi depend on your phone)
