Hi Guy's
I see an app on my friend apple's phone. This app can listen to your song and find information about that with network connection...
Anyway you can get it for androids phone from market but it's 5$ and we can't buy and get that from market..
Anyone can help? Thank you Guy's

You can find in the market a free version of Shazam. You also can use Market Enabler to download apps that aren't available in your country.
In the Attachment is the marked free version of shazam.
sorry for my bad english
Julian
SoundHound is a better solution. Free on Market and more skilled than Shazaam

I have it allready in our stock musicplayer (via SoundHound) on 2.3.4 (Identify a song) or is that not what you mean.
Our colleague wasn't looking for ID3 tagging. He was looking for an app that recognize the name of a song you hear (let's say you're listening a radio station on a standalone player and you want to know the name of the playing song).
soundhound is free and does the job as well, if not better than shazam!

you can also try this new player: Mufin Player
Hi,
I was wondering if there were a better music player for my SGS2 as the stock one is really awful with tags. But I would really like to keep using it, because it displays controls in a notification and on the lock screen, so I'm a bit confused...
Is there any app that displays controls the same way? Or is there any mod of the stock app that better handle tags?
Thanks, and sorry for my poor English
PowerAmp allows editing of tags and has a lockscreen widget. Give it a try!
I know that one and have already purchased it, but I find the stock unlocker pretty good even if it has its own defaults, so I'd like not to change it if it's possible accordingly to what I want :/
Another solution would be to find a software or application that uses the same tags as the stock music player so it wouldn't be messy anymore

is there any music player that doesn't automatically scan all the sd card?
i listen to audiobooks on my phone too and currently using winamp but it lists all the audiobook files as well as the my music tracks which is a bit annoying. tried stock player which has the same behaviour.

why don't you set folder view in winamp...you can select sibgle folder to play
Power Amp. You can select the folder for your mp3 and it will scan only them.

There are other options too.
MIXZING for example it has both the functions that you need.scan a particular folder as well as play by folder.
U can give it a try but nothing beats power amp.using it from a long time.if you can afford it just go for it.
Edit: mixzing is free
Sent from my GT-I5800
unfortunately i can't afford poweramp but I'll give mixzing a try, thanks

well mixzing seemed perfect, love the interface but it doesn't play flac!!! such a pity because it seems a great player apart from that.

i emailed the clean music player dev about it not being able to play flac files received a reply within a day informing me that he is working on it. huge respect to that, looks like it won't be long til clean music player will be my player of choice.
