[Q] Is theme works on our CM 6.2 ? - Galaxy 3 Themes and Apps

I've found some theme like that http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/4438-theme-revoution-v2-cm6-final/ and i wanna know if it's work on our CM 6.2 !
I don't want to take a risk of softbrick but i want it on my phone !

I have taken the risk already 2 days ago. It put my g3 on bootloop.
No risk no fun

It puts our device on bootloop. BUT someone, with needed knowledge, could try edit png's in framework.apk and theme our cm 6.2 a bit. Hope to see some themes for CM any time soon.

It can be done. However changing clock colour is difficult. It can be done with some effort. But first, lets wait for a fully working port of CM.

I rip these icons and images from different roms and themes. If you recorgnize someone's work, please thanks him/her.
Instruction:
1. Donwload the zip file to your internal SD-Card.
2. Reboot into Recovery Mod.
3. Select install from SD-Card.

I think, there are some bugs with TW4. whitehawk indicated on the Bi-Winning V3 thread -- > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1105907
I noticed that the project-v media scanning is slow. It took between 1 minute to 2 minutes to complete the scanning.
If anyone did not run into any issues after flashing this theme, please let some of us know what kernel or option you have done.
Thanks
I did find one bug. I flashed this rom with bullet then this theme and now my camera app FC every time I try to open it.anyone have any ideas on how to fix this w/o starting over..theme really looks great with TW4 IMO..

Congratulation, Ray

Check this out!!!!

I was digging for new themes for our JVP/JVQ GB Roms and found this.... I'm going to be trying these ASAP
Note that these themes are NOT GUARANTEED to Work on all roms,,, Flash at your own risk. Naturally make backups

Good find, thanks.
I believe the themes have to have the same number of lockscreens to work on our vibrants.

I have heard this also... I just flashed the deep purple theme and all worked well except the phone app was gone for some reason.... it only had 5 lock screens though... mine had 9 originally
It will work fine unless you chose a lockscreen that you don't have coding for, then you've just bought a ticket to bootloop city

can you elaborate on that? I flashed the LEGEND X theme and I got in a boot loop. i had the puzzle lockscreen on before the flash
I have no idea how to check for this before hand but say if you were on the puzzle lockscreen and then you flash a theme that edits some .xmls then you might have a situation where the lockscreen is looking for an .xml that doesn't work it anymore (or maybe is completely missing) and BAM your phones figurative brain explodes and sends you into bootloops. That's my understanding anyways so anybody feel free to correct me.

I think everyone that tries one needs to report back if everything worked or not and we need to start a list of which ones actually work for us.
I would use the standard android lockscreen since its in pretty much all themes and roms. To avoid possible bootloops or worse.

that's what I've been going for as well. Great idea. So far the deep purple one worked for SH 4.0... It looked nice but the phone app was gone for some reason. And the legend x one put me in a boot loop.

-An unknown themed framework that gives a minimalistic look...
-Camera.apk has changed...
-Minimalstic Gapps (Based by temasek)
-BlackICS Keyboard

right, phoenix-android have to be hardcoded because every theme used with
theme apps are slowing down the system:
i try to explain why:
Android have a standard builtin "theme" or "style", a different for Froyo, another for Gingerbread and another for ICS.
Every UI element looks for a "theme"-option other than the builtin, if another theme is found, the element have to
load the new theme resources on the fly when creating the element. this triggers a re-draw on the element and slows
the system because it must be done for every element in the activity, so loading gets slow and even when using the
app: all loaded resources arent cached because the themechooser app stays "on the top" on each application and isnt builtin.
@Dax
Why don't you complete your projects before you start new ones?
What happened to GBS,Sonygenmod?
Also, ICCS needs a stable patcher because their are so many features and apps which have colour overlap and also ADW FC's all over.
I appreciate you trying to start new projects which IMO have loads of potential and currently seems like an awesome idea.
However, i think you should consider finishing the older projects before starting new ones.
Don't take this as a personal hate message or something, but this is just some constructive criticism.

[Theme-Remover] Emergency Reset 1.0

Some CM7 themes are applied to framework-res and systemui (for the less inclined, systemui handles statusbar icons, and framework-res is too extensive to describe). Well, if you lose your backup of the APK's, or accidentally apply more than 2 themes on top of each other, certain elements may be screwed up. Well, this happened to me more than once (happens to the best of us, right?) and I figured that SOMEONE else out there had to have the same problem. Thus, The Panic Button was born. The Panic Button is a metamorph that replaces ALL files in Framework-Res and SystemUI.apk with the originals from the CM7 rom.
Current Version: 1.0
Based on: CM7 Nightly 225
This will be updated weekly, depending if I have time

Try flashing the file. It may work. I've tried it once. And there's no risk involved, so you can flash it on any ROM without any tension
ok will try soon.
but this only changes some icons and not all of the them and even the dock bar dont get changed.
is there full theme of this. which changes everything from dockbar to all the icons
I am working on it. I have my exams and that is why I dont get time to edit it. I will add new icons soon
