It Should Ask If Multiple Galleries Are Installed Which One You Want Or Set A Preferred One.

I Believe This Could Be Installed On Any Rom. There Isn't A Prerequisite.
Do you just flash these like you do a ROM?

Yes No Wipe Though.
If I flashed either of the zips, would it affect the camera in any way? The only reason why I'm sticking with the Blur Gallery right now is because I still want to retain all the functionality of the camera. Thanks!

The auto update check box is there when you click on an app its at the top right of the app. Of course I'm scared to try it because that takes all the fun out of clicking the box that says "Update All"

Unfortunatly, the only apps i have gotten to work are the camera, music, and market (though i see no difference in the market, and i found the camera less featured that the one i already had...if you want to try the camera, it can be installed along side the current one)
I am running RoyalMIUIr3, so those were compatible with this rom, other roms may differ
WARNING: I am having issues installing downloaded apps using the new vending.apk. backup your current one before installing the new version.
I wonder which one of these would work on CM... Gonna try.

Does anyone have a working apk of the google camera found on stock android? I've tried a few apks floating around XDA but none seemed to work for XT720.

Have you tried ripping one From a milestone build Or do they use camera From motorola on there cyanogen builds. Try ripping one From a cm6 build. Theres prolly some editing involed tho. And what's the benefit of the AOSP camera over motorolas? Personal preference?

I like how the interface on the AOSP one looks, wanted to see how it actually functions. The Motorola camera isn't bad.
I tried an apk that someone took from a CM build I think but it didn't work, needs some deodexing or w/e which I don't know how to do. I'll see if I can find one from the milestone though, that's a good idea.
I pulled this from a Droid X theme. The Mms & Music (Mod) worked but I never tried the camera.

Use astro file manager, then preferenes then at the bottom select enable browser downloads. Then you can download it.
I did download and put it on my sd card from computer after I posted that but installation was unsuccessful.
OK you need a system app remover here's the trick put in your system app backup and restore it as a system app.and it should work the camera look neat.

Could you explain further, im a newb. I deleted the moto camera using system app remover, but how do i restore the stock android camera from an apk?
Ever since I got GB I can't share pics from the gallery or camera app - the only way I can do it is through an alternate gallery application.
I deleted the bloat that's listed in the thread in this section. Is anyone else having this problem? It just says "No application to share" or something like that. Wondering if some bloat that got deleted caused this...
Mine works with rooted gb. Ionly froze the apps in the old list from mr clowns sticky in the dev forum.

Guys as you would know verizon didnt add stock samsung photo editor to the phone and its not available from play store either. So i was able to get my hands on an apk if anyone needs.
I have tried it on my note 2 and it works flawlessly.

I have the same problem, even started a thread about this. Would love the original widgets. Now, I have my spouses S3......could I grab them off there? If yes, could you tell me how?

Yeah mine force closes to but its better than nothing. Should be fixed really soon as soon as we get custom roms.

I have the stock calendar widget APK from the Sprint Note 2. It works, but force closes a couple times when you first add the 4x4 calendar widget, but seems to work well after that. I think the issue might be that I got the APK and not the odex file. So I'm running the sprint note 2 calendar widget with the original odex file. I'm waiting for the user over in the sprint forum who provided the apk to send me a odex file. I'm not a developer so I'm not sure if this is really a possible cause for the issue. I'm just grabbing at straws.
Fixed my issues. Instructions are in the general section. Maybe it should be moved to this section. I dont know...
I installed this app just like any other APK and it Force closes. Not only that but now other apps FC like Maps etc. Any suggestions besides rooting and fixing permissions? Also I when the App does work I can only use half of the features. I really want to wait for CWM tar to root.
