Hi all! I've recently installed cyanogenmod (probably 4 weeks now), and I am loving it.
Everything seems to be working fine, then a few days ago my Wifi couldn't detect networks anymore.
I tried rebooting and to no avail.
Any advice would be most appreciated!

If it is only having problems with one Wifi network, chances are it's the network. (reset password/restart router/change channel the routeris on/or encryption)
If it happens with several wifi networks. Back everything up and reflash with that ROM again.

You can try install everything again or try install a file wifi fix...
do you have a link for the wifi fix?
Dear All,
I just flashed to the Whitecookie MIUI-1.10.8 Rom, and everything seems to be working fine at first. The wifi was working perfectly fine, then it stopped working, and now I cannot connect to the internet, and it kept get stuck at "obtaining IP address" but it never get connected now. Even worse, after a while it just go to "remember" or "disable". I checked my wireless internet, and its working fine ( i'm on it now with my laptop) Please help! Thanks!
I installed check rom revoHD v4 and wifi just stopped working. When i activate it, it says its activating, it turns on and a few seconds lates it turnos off. It never gets a mac adress.
I tried changin kernels (siyah 2.51), and modems with no luck. Anyone has an idea how to fix it?

What kind of security is your wifi modem is having? is it wps smthng lk that? Did you tried with different wifi hotspots?
it doesnt have any security, i disable it
The thing is that it doesn even recognize that there is a wifi signal, it just turn off automatically before without detecting any wifi signal, i tried at work and the same thing happened
(sorry if i misspelled a lot of words jejeje)
try to flash another ROM and see if it works...

i restored the backup i made with cwm and everything works fine now (touch x-power rom), and if i reinstall check rom the wifi goes out again, it seems it deletes something that leaves me with no wifi mac adress (i searched in about the phone, turning on and of wifi and every time it said not available)

had this same exact issue.. it is a hardware problem.. so changing rom, kernel or fw wont help you at all... only solution is going to samsung service center.. my problem was solved in 3 days..so many s2 users have this problem..

There are a lot of problems with KK5 and wifi. If you update Busybox it borks it completely. I can't connect to my 5Ghz home wifi but the 2.4 Ghz works fine. I also can't connect to some wifi that uses WEP. All works fine with previous builds. I have seen threads that suggest replacing the wpa_suplicant file from Android 2.3.5 fixes the problem.

I am using latest cm10.1 rc2.
Have a disconnecting problem with wifi.
After a while my wifi connection starts to disconnect and reconnect all the time until i disable wifi. Damn it drives me nuts.
I flashed stock rom yesterday no problem with it. Then i flashed cm again an hour ago and problem comes back.
Any solution?
Using an airties modem + airties ap.
Of couse i searched for an hour but couldnt find anything usefull

Hi, im using dokdo rom, android 5.1(arter97 kernel ver 4.1) and everything was okay until this morning. I wanted to connect wifi but i realised that wifi cant be open from setting. Wifi status is off but it says turning wifi on. Go to Status i see that IP, wifi, BT are both unavailable athough they were ok yesterday( yesterday i used them). BT is okay, i can find other devices and pair with them. Can some help me? i tried to factory reset and reflash rom but nothing happened
