Just created and published the Picasa Timescape in the market.

Enter the username and get all the publicly shared photos of that user.
If gmail id is [email protected] then enter only xyz.acc in username field.

Logged into Google on Picasa, tag my contacts in my pictures and uploaded onto Picasa online.
Setup Picasa in mediascape and then go into my contacts on my phone.
Click on pictures of a certain contact and I only get the ones I've taken with my camera.
Is there no way to link my Picasa pictures that are tagged with a contact and my Facebook contacts that are linked with the picture sync?
Example:
Contact Dave Jones goes into Phonebook
Dave Jones appear on Google Contacts online
Log into Picasa and tag Dave Jones from my Google Contacts in a photo
Link Dave Jones' contact in my phone with his Facebook Account
View pictures of Dave Jones on my phone and it only shows the ones taken with the camera, and not photos of him on Picasa and Facebook.

Anyway to do this? A feature that should be there if missing
Dear all members,
I am trying to link up my contacts with Facebook and Phonebook, some contacts are ok but some contact when you link up, it will store the contact name in their Facebook instead of the name in the phonebook.
And there are some contacts, it will just store the name in phonebook instead of facebook so it is very confusing and messy.
Anyone has the same problem and any workaround solution?

This is what I found so far.
1. If your phonebook has the same first name with facebook, it will use completely facebook name.
Example: phonebook name john, facebook name john doe. It will show you John Doe.
2. If you have different first name, ofcourse you have to join it manually, it will show you the name from your facebook.
Example: phonebook name Doe, facebook name John Doe, you will have to join it manually and it will show you your phonebook name.which is Doe.

Hi i got streakDroid 2.0.0 and when i go to contacts and then Account Settings, I
add my Google Account...works fine,
then I add my Twitter Account .... works fine.
Then i want to add my facebook Account, giving it my login data it works fine, the facebook apps open and i can use it like the way befor. But then the Facebook account is not in the List of the account. And in continue there are no Facebook contacts in my Contacts List. And this is sucks
When I go to Account Settings again and click "add facebook" it loads 1 second and bring me back to Account Screenm but again without the FB Account.
Can someone help me here?
I think this is more to do with a disagreement between Google and Facebook about contact sharing than a problem with the ROM. I think Google took integration out of the ROM for 2.3.3

I just migrated from N900 to S3... I was using Hermes on N900 for contact sync and it added the facebook url to the contact details. Now i would like to install some application which just on the basis of that url, update *only* the contact picture. Is there some application available which can do this without hassle?

You can also create a "facebook for sync" in account parameters... Works great for me..

I dont know how to create "facebook for sync" .. basically all i need is some app which go through the website section of a contact.. and update the profile pic on its basis... HaxSync seems not to be able to do that...
Don't know if the following works for your specific need but its worth a try:
Settings - accounts and sync -add account - add facebook account (or add facebook for syncing)
Then go to contacts - menu button - contacts to display - customised list - press facebook and choose what u want displayed.
I get contact pics synced from skype, gmail etc, can't really try facebook cause its blocked here...
