I want to check out that video but it won't let me without doing the OTA update! I just got the phone and I'm charging it up so that I have a full charge when I start rooting/romming. Is there a way to view that video without the OTA? Thanks!

I work at Radioshack where we have a 3d demo, and I own one myself. We haven't been able to watch the green hornet on either.

I switched my sd card to a 16GB a while back.. I copied all of the info from the orig card to the new one. Green hornet worked fine for a while.
I was getting a message that said the promotion had expired as well. So I hooked my phone to the PC as a disk drive, then I hooked up the old microsd. I deleted the green hornet off of the phone &copied green hornet from the orig sd. Now it works again.

Green Hornet is awful your not missing much. If you want to start putting your own movies that you actually like on the evo click HERE
and get to watching. A guide on how to convert them to the screen res of evo or 720p which ever you prefer.

The main reason I wanted to take the OTA update is so I could test out the green hornet. This was not worth possibly giving up a future chance of root, so I played around a little bit and got the movie to work without telling me there was an update.
Open Watch > Hit the button on the bottom left to bring up the menu before it has a chance to tell you there is an update.
voila, the green hornet is available.

its not that bad. not great but sweet when you're too hungover to get up and watch TV and need something to watch lol. kinda cheesy but I didnt finish watching it (not becuase it was bad though).

The movie itself isn't really worth watching, but it is a nice demonstration of 3D on a phone.

Worked over wifi for me
You could watch Hornet without the OTA update. It started working on Thursday morning. The problem was when you opened it, it was trying to get the DRM rights from the HTC server, but it wasn't up yet.
I'm guessing this patch just put the DRM file on the sd card to curve the traffic to the server.
mine started working in 3d after a reboot.
btw I'm playing it from my cl6 16gb card that I copied everything to

No you can't. When opening htc watch or the green hornet from the apps menu a pop up comes up saying you need to accept the ota because it contains an update to htc watch.
i got my 3D on the 22nd and i was able to watch the movie on the 23rd and i havent done the update... stock all the way
did nothing special and i can watch it with no problems now
Okay I did temp root on my 3vo and used titanium backup to restore my apps and my old spiderman copied over the 3D version. Anyone have the spiderman 3D apk? I paid for it but gameloft doesn't have it to download. Thanks in advance.

You should be able to redownload it by starting the "3D Games" app, then click my downloads and put in your phone number. I doubt anyone is going to post a paid app here whether you bought it or not. I don't think it's allowed.

You'll need to download the contents of the SD card in the Development section. It's nearly 2GBs but it's got everything you need, including Spiderman and the Green hornet movie. It should already know you've got the license for it. It did for me when I wiped.
Alternatively, you may have to do a factory reset. Titanium Backup (IMHO) has always things worse.

I know this does not relate to spider man 3d but has anyone tried the asphalt 6 3d? I downloaded it, it works great... No tilt.. asked myself why and duhh, then you would lose the 3d effect... Anyway, I shut it down properly and now by battery is draining faster than normal. Sure enough, android says that asphalt 6 3d is 47% of the battery drain. Higher than my display! Anyone see this happen to them?
The exact same thing happened to me, Asphalt 3D is consistently second on my battery usage, even when I haven't played it that day. I just thought that my battery stats weren't wiping, but averaging day over day for the last week.
Anyone else see this?

this game sucks ass with out tilt or some other way to direct and the nova they should make it so the dedicated camera button is the shoot so i can move around with out always shooting.
This happened to me last night. I lost a lot of videos, pics and music randomly. A lot of pics have an error and all the pics I lost say it is a file of 64kb. But when I try to open I get a file error. Has this happened to anyone else? Could it be the phone or the memory card? I had this card on my OG EVO with no problems.
See if you can view the files on another memory card. If so, then the memory card has gone bad.
Wait the file size went down to 64kb? Yea the memory card may be corrupt.

i was having issues with my SD in the evo4G so i started backing it up to my computer weekly just in case.

Used to happen constantly on my hero! Wipe your SD card and it should be good. Back when I had my hero it would happen when my phone would die but once I wiped it a couple of times, took it out and put it into my computer and made sure everything was off and it was good. Hope it works for you.

Doesn't hurt to try that and see if it works... If the files work on other cards or even on your comp, it is safe to say it has gone bad. But like I said, it doesn't hurt to try it.

Ladies, gentlemen......Im just got the photon yesterday,coming from the EVO3D..i still have it just looking for something more. Ive been having a lot of lock ups where the phone becomes unresponsive.is this normal?i mean i thought. Without the Hog that is sense,this phone should perform better than the 3D..its not ...any advice would the a great help....

I needed replacement (long story) and when I got new Photon it started acting funny. I deleted Google+ and all good, but I put Google+ back because I use it. Just saying, maybe you installed something thats killing it?
One last thing (because I was JUST reading something eles) How much space are you using on the phone? Not the SD Card, not the 16Gb (well actually 8.79Gb but whats a few Gb between friends), You have 1Gb RAM, and 2GB ROM, install 2Million App's and ...............You get my point!

Yeah,got about the same amount. Bout 350megs of ram.ill go thru them one by one.not a total noob.just figured. With mopho having a such a small home launcher that i wouldn't. Have tje lock ups....but then again ypur suggestions are right ..

you can be using 1kb and one app, if its a jacked up app...........
On a personal note, I never install anything with less that 500,000 downloads AND 4-5 stars. Google+, the new version, being the exception!
I don't know if you used the same sd card that you had in the 3d, but if you are it's a good idea to save the info you need and format your sd card.

Hey guys.
So I went to work today and while I was on break, my phone acted up a couple of times. Once, the mobile internet cut itself off and I had to restart my phone to get it to turn back on.
Then when I get off of work, my phone isn't reading my SD card.
I tried unmounting and then mounting it back several times, but no luck getting anything.
So then I hooked it into a card reader on my computer and all the files show up, then suddenly the computer got an error saying that the driver wasn't recognized and then stopped reading it.
What is the problem and how can this be fixed?
I can even open Root Browser app and it shows all the files on my SD card. All pictures, music, videos, etc.
But for some reason when I go to gallery, music, or whatever else... it won't pull up.
Back it up to pc if u can then reformat it to fat32

I wish I could. My computer will read it but only for a few seconds and then says something about a driver error.
I'm guessing the card may be going bad?

Just tried doing this, and surprisingly, yes. So I got it all copying to the computer now.
It just doesn't make sense to me that it can mount like this and my files still be on the card and not read when I go to pull them up. Especially when I go to Root Browser and I can see all the files.

So I copied all files to my computer, formatted the SD card again, put all files back onto the SD, and still have the same problem.
Note that my phone is reading the SD in Root Browser; however, when I go to my gallery, music, videos, etc.. my phone tells me that there are none and acts as if the SD card is empty. I even go to SD and Storage and it says my card is empty, but it's not.

You're going to need a new one bud. There is definitely something wrong with it physically if you have done aall of that and it is still doing that.

Just wiped my phone completely and restored my most recent backup and now my phone reads it just fine, so problem fixed.
Undoubtedly my phone got set to some strange setting while it was in my back pocket that I never knew my phone had.

I had the same problem, I did the same thing as well. I noticed it happen when I downloaded a free game app from Amazon App store. I had to uninstall it b/c it kept on force closing. Soon after I had this SD problem.

The thing is... I haven't downloaded or changed anything at all with my phone in over 2 weeks. Either it tripped out or something happened to where a setting changed while it was in my back pocket.
Glad I fixed it.
I had a feeling it was probably a setting issue that happened, so I got the idea to restore from a backup to get back original settings and BAM!
