That story's from pocketnow.com.
They're a bunch of freaking idiots who will print any rumor they're fed to the web as a 'scoop'. Very similar to an online version of the National Enquirer here in the US.
My guess: this is just a photo of a stock Evo3D with the wrong tint applied to it.
Then someone decided to get 'creative' and invent a story.

Well, Best Buy DID get an exclusive color to the EVO 4G. While RadioShack may have sprung a deal to do the same, it's not entirely impossible that this could be real. But still, I'm skeptical.

I remember awhile back I saw some replacement cases for the evo 3d on ebay in that violet color, and also black with gold camera bezel. I believe they are european versions, and the story may be true in the sense that they may have the style coming to the US. I don't buy the story, but the pics are definetly real they sold for like $80 on ebay.
