I am using StreakDroid 1.9.1 and trying 240dpi lcd density, when i restart or power on my phone, i am unable to enter my Sims PIN because in landscape half the keypad is missing and in portrait it flickers between app drawer, homescreen and PIN entry keypad!!!!
Does anyone know of a replacement PIN entry app? I have GO Contacts EX installed to solve the dialer size problem, but this is not used for PIN entry.
No work around that I know of....

I want to remove the PIN request after the standby but I can't find where to change the this setting. I just remember a page where I can choose to use a PIN (numeric code) or a password. My ROM is Foliomod 1.4.
Does anyone know how to remove the PIN request?

I'm using Foliomod 1.4 and, unfortunately, I have to confirm that once you set the pin code or the password to lock the screen, the lock setting menu DISAPPEARS! That's why I could not find it.
I had to reset the Folio, then entering the 'position and protection' menu I found the lock setting menu, but as I said, once activated the pin code, that menu vanishes making impossible to change or remove the pin code (had to reset again).
It's a bug of the Foliomod that should be fixed..
My company requires me to protect my tablet with a password that includes both letters and numbers if I want to get my corporate email on it. The keyboard that the lock screen uses is the default android keyboard, even if I have a different keyboard (Swiftkey, in my case) selected as my primary input method.
This makes entering an alphanumeric password a pain, since I have to press the "?123" key to bring up the numeric keypad every time I need to enter a number.
Is there a way (without rooting, preferably) to use a different keyboard for the lock screen ... it doesn't have to be swiftkey, necessarily, I just need something that has either has a 5th row with numbers, or that allows the top (qwerty) row to bring up numbers with a long-press.
Any help would be much appreciated!
I'm currently using external SD card encryption, but that needs passcode protection.
So I've already set it up, and now I must input my password to release lockscreen.
Everything is OK.
When I turn on the screen, passcode box is appeared, BUT the keyboard is not appeared automatically until I touch the passcode box.
I must touch passcode box to activate keyboard.
That's very inconvenient, not like iPhone. (iPhone lockscreen is designed like what I want)
Is there any good way to solve this problem? (actually it's not a problem, but I mean, just any solution)

and it has been locked during to so many wrong pattern attempts
my problem is I know the Gmail account and the password ..
but i cant reach all the characters within my keyboard as shown in the attached picture
i used to change the orientation of my phone to landscape and turn it over to portrait mode again to fix it...
but it's seems to be that i cant change the orientation of my phone on the lock screen
please help me guys i don't want to hard reset it ... i want to get a backup of my contacts list
is there any way to get the default keyboard at the lock screen ... i think the third party app keyboard causing this problem it's "http://ibrahim-arabic-keyboard.soft112.com/"

If you enable abd debugging in Our mobile and adb in ur laptop you can revert back.
Samsung Mega: if i am typing a text or have the keyboard up at all, and the screen goes to lock, when I go to unlock the device, the keyboard is still there.. this has made it impossible for me to use a pin code to unlock the device as the keyboard hides the unlock keypad. this just started happening today and is very frustrating.. any tips? haven't installed any new apps or updates recently.
