Thanks, I know this issue but i want to confirm that applications downloaded through Aptoide will be kept after backing it through titanium backup

Titanium Backup backs up all the apps you have installed. When you flash your new rom, download Titanium Backup again and run a restore batch.

Get Titanium from Market, update you busybox from titanium bkp, go to backup/restore tab, press menu button and then batch. Run the batch opperation you need. Save the titanium bkp folder from your sd to pc, and you're done.

Does this really work, so just dragging the Titanium Bkp folder back in to the SD and restoring installs all the apps again?
@shotgun32 & @Vivasanti
Yes. Put the TitaniumBackup folder back on the SD card after partitioning, wiping, formatting or whatever. Install Titanium Backup again from the Market on your fresh installed ROM and then restore. If your backup included system data, you will also have the SMS and contacts restored, plus most of the system settings. Also, you can restore only the needed apps.
Guys need help here, ive successfuly installed my 1st custom rom and restored my apps from titanium backup but my restored apps are not shown in market->myapps,
I need my restored apps to be linked back in the market so that I can still receive notification when an app has a new update. tnx

[Q] Titanium Backup create backup of currently installed apps

I want to create a backup set of my currently installed apps for being able to restore those after a wipe and romantic newinstall.
The Titanium Backup help tells me I can filter for installed apps but I don't have/find this option?
Also may have to use labels but I don't know how/why?
Can anyone give me a short advise or fingerpoint on how to create a backup Snapshost of current installations and how to restore after clean romantic install?
Go into backup and restore and select apps to which you want to backup and press backup... Down..
But I want to batch backup all currently installed apps without selecting each and every single app separately?

Restoring apps with Titanium Backup on JB

Why do JB rom cookers say do not restore apps with TB?
I have some necessary data so i have to use TB..
Is it okay if i install apps manually with Google Play and restore data only with TB?
Thanks.

Cause you might have bootloop after restoring data.
Simply you need 3 files with backup:
Contacts: .vcf
SMS: .xml
Apps: .txt (list of them)
I upgraded from ICS to JB yesterday and restored APP+Data for a few apps via TB. All of them work fine.
I didn't have any problems with TB on jb.
Upgrade your TB to the latest version.

Just make a nandroid backup and store it on your computer just in case something goes wrong. Then try to restore whatever you want. Just know that you are responsible for your device, so if you mess it up, you will have to solve it.

[Q] Backup/Restore

I am having apps that were installed using their APKs. And they are backed up by Titanium Backup Pro. Now if any of that apps gets a newer version and I need to install it by uninstalling the prev version first, will I be able to get the data restored back using Titanium? My confusion is whenever I uninstall an app will Titanium make its backup vanished as well?

No need for any backup unless you are doing factory reset.....Just install the new version and replace the old version if it prompts. You will not loose any data.

Had it done. Generally when a newer APK (Hopefully people in here know why me is using APKs with Google Play as well) of an app comes out if I click on the install button it just asks for permission to replace it. But there are some that mess it up. That is why I have to uninstall them first and then install the newer version APK. I have seen if I restore back the data, it is just fine
No issues.
Thanks.

Titanium Backup is the best one.
+1 for TiBu
There's also Helium or you can backup through ADB if you want.
