Please post working game emulaters here the flipout is very good for playing games on the keyboard very nice feel to the keys.
Gameboid, etc all work well, they're on the market
and can you use the flipout keys and redefine them aswell? do they play smoothe?

Keyboard can be used, and they play well on my hero
gameboid and snesoid are both laggy here, the sound flicks..
i see other phones with less hardware running well...

Yeah, they run fine on my HeroC
scummVM works perfectly as long as you have a good aim picking text
I'm running both 64oid & snesoid on my Uk flipout. 64oid has some sound issues but most roms run ok (using setcpu to boost gaming). Snesoid also has some sound issues but on the whole both run fairly well ...
Lets not forget that both of these emulators & others are still "work in progress" so we can expect some significant improvements in rom execution & hardware compatibilty in the future...

Which games did you try on the N64oid? It will be great if you try Zelda OoT.
i tried psx4droid but the only game i can get to run smooth enuff to play
is yu-gi-oh forbidden memories
sound gets destroyed
animations get abit choppy
I use NESoid to play:
Mario
Krion Conquest
Felix the Cat
Kirby's Adventure
all of those work fine, with a less than occasional audio stutter.
as for the input settings:
im using up, down, left, right with the Dpad
the A-button is J and the B-button is H
return/enter is my start and delete/backspace is my select
I played fpse it's a psx emulator and it worked pretty well, I was playing final fantasy 8 on that emulator, the downpoint was that the screen is a little bit too small for that... gameboid works perfectly

Has anybody had any luck running gameloft games. I can get asphalt 5 to work along with BIA and modern combat 2 but not the others. I want to run ganstar Miami, Spiderman, and ft racing but they wont run tho they install the extra data just fine. I'm on cm7 rc4.
What rom are u using if u are able to play them?

I've gotten NOVA to work and runs well on cm7 rc4. I tried Asphalt 6 HD on Nookie froyo, it works but the screen is scrunched together and you can't see the car.

Could you tell me how you did it? NOVA looks great and I'm eager to try it on my autonooter rooted Nook.
What version are you using to get Nova to run fullscreen, I can get it to run but the hole game runs 1/4 screen.
how about lets golf 2?
The way I got MC2 was just by emailing the one I downloaded on my epic from their site to my nook. It installed and worked great.
Asphalt 6 HD works perfectly on the Nook Color.

I concur (hit or miss sometimes), I've got Dungeon Hunter HD and Hero of Sparta to work on CM7 v.33. And at times, I get the same scenario when it launches and I download the data, click on the game and it doesn't work. I'm currently running NookieComb, and they both work on that as well. Good luck.

I have the same issue with Spiderman. Im running CM7 RC4. Game installs and when I go to run it crashes right away when trying to play the opening video. Looking at the Gameloft folder on SD card I found the mp4 video and was able to play it in rockplayer but noticed it was 1024 x 600 which I think nook cant play natively? I took the mp4 file and ran it thru handbrake into a format nook can handle and pushed back to sd card however when I went to run the game I think it checks the file size as it asked me to re download the 13meg mp4 file again from gameloft.
It probably just checks the CRC to make sure it's the same file. I believe this can be spoofed.

I have tried manipulating the files too..
the odd thing is I was able to run Asphalt 5 once before and it has never since. The graphics are incredible LOL, so I want it back.
Need to find away to get passed the first video. I copied the Gameloft file from my phone to the Nook to see if it was any different and still no go..
well i re encoded the video (that was the easy part) and checked its okay and runs just fine on the nook. Looked around about the CRC thing and used PEiD with CRC32 plug in and got the CRC value from the source original mp4 file. Used that value and applied it to the new re encode video via PEiD. Value took but still doesnt pass some Gameloft check. Fails and wants me to re down the file.
I posted something a month or so ago about this very issue. I thought it was why my games weren't playing also. You can reencode the video but then you'll have to pad it to the exact size as the original. I was able to get the videos to play but then the game would still crash after that anyways.

I think it has to do more with rom (cm7) than anything. I just saw a video on YouTube of a Guy playing Spiderman on his nook. Didn't say what rom he was using tho
Recently converted to CM7 RC4 and having the same issues as above.... came from nootered 1.1 with pretty much all gameloft games running, but so far I've only gotten Asphalt 5, BiA2, and Nova (non-GTab version) to work. Gangstar, Sandstorm, Fishing Kings, Let's Golf 2, and more all immediately crash upon start.
Are there any playstation emulators that are working on the galaxy tab 10.1? All of them seem to have weird sound or poor fps. I think psx4droid worked on the xoom, but it's not playing nice on here.
Would also like to know this. Psx4droid just doesn't run any roms, and Fpse works, but lots of frame rate and sound issues running FFVII ( which according to the internets, is one of the best running roms out there).
I've seen it running really well on a phone, don't see why it should run badly on a more powerful device.
using FPse with Crash bandicoot and it works fine for me !
After I updated to Touchwiz UX FPSE started working alot better for me. Before I wasn't getting any sounds in FF9 and the sounds during regular gameplay were very choppy. Now I am getting 52-60 fps and sound emulation is great.

Went through many emulators and the is by far the best.
Using an older version of psx4drioid (pre v2) works the best on tegra devices, havent tried it yet on my GT but on my old g-tablet it was the best emulator. Version 1.2 or 1.5 if I recall correctly.

honycomb does not play nice with psx4droid
use FPSe
- download scph1001.bin from the net
- go to FPSe settinges
- than system
- bios loading and choose scph1001.bin
- restart FPSe
- enjoy with the almost 100% working games with sound and everything
I've found most RPG games have messed up sound with FPSe, anyway to fix this issue? Final Fantasy 7,8,9

I wish I could get FPse working for me, I have the correct Bios, but when I load any game it shows a black screen for 30 seconds and then force closes. I know the roms are working because they work with PSX4droid (however PSX4droid randomly crashes and sound clips). Do you think its because I'm using the Starburst ROM? Or possibly I have a bad bios file?
FPSe loads FF9 fine if I have the BIOS file loaded, except:
1) Graphics look like crap. There are settings that VASTLY improve graphics quality but these make it laggy/choppy
2) No sound in many areas. Basically, there is no background music

Notes don't' seem like they are completing or something. Kind of weird.

Make sure you enable spusync or whatever under the audio settings. FFVII works great for me <3

Runs perfectly smooth with no slowdown in FMV sequences? Because I am not having a similar experience. I have messed with the settings a lot, and I can get generally smooth gameplay and battle sequences (50-60fps) but I cannot keep the FMV scenes from being stuttery/jerky at time.

I have spusync option on under audio and frame limiter + frame skip 50fps. With these settings i get smooth gameplay in any game I have tried including FFVII and FMV scenes.
Try it out, the frame skip 50 fps allows some games to run normal for some reason with out any jerky gerky. (make sure frame limiter is active)

Now I have Android running on my TP, I really like the look of playing Mario 64 and other old games. Could anyone share info with me on what emulators are good and how to actually get them working on the TP? I downloaded N64oid v2.6 to my PC, but don't actually know how to get it installed on my TP.

What's the best SNES emulator? Tried SNesoid and it seems a little jumpy
Also if you have chainfire3dpro it can make a huge difference with this emulator.

What's it do mate? I read it's a driver for the GPU - Does it make a difference with all gaming emulators and games?
EDIT - Downloaded it (Not the PRO version) and it doesn't really make a difference. Does the PRO make the difference?

I'd like to know why as well. I thought this is heavily based on CPU performance as it is emulated software.
I find that with Chainfire3D and the Adreno2xx drivers installed, N64oid runs perfectly with no hickups. Even the most intense scenes in Zelda Ocarina of Time runs flawlessly at high framerate.
Anybody get donkey Kong running?

Can someone enlighten me as to which settings in chain fire should be used and why they increase performance? Also, is there any way to add custom virtual controller skins? The default options don't work too well with the large screen of the touchpad.

I want to know does MC4 is laggy on your device when playing Multiplayer ?i checked My FPS using FPS Meter from Playstore and i am getting about 30-55Fps average on all maps but whenever i shoot an enemy game starting to lag. I noticed during shooting an enemy FPS drops to 18-25. Which is laggy for an FPS game. On MC3 i always get constant 60FPS no matter how many players are playing.
Does it work for you smoothly (i mean 50-60Fps?)

same thing for me but i just flash the rom CyanogenMod 10.1 for sgs2 and now its much better, there is still
lags and drop fps , but its much better then it was!
try it and i hope that gameloft will release update soon for this game to optimize fps.
Does single player work flawlessly for you? Last time i checked the leak version, it still lagged sometimes..not tried the released version yet

Its not much better than my current rom.
look check rom v6 with dark knnight kernel you can play it very great but remember dont move the game to sd card and do full wipe(http://d-h.st/lii) before install this rom!

I found "new" way to run it smoothly, I have to say that I payed for this app but right now im running it from other
apk and files (not the orginal from gameloft), this is because i found apk of this game that run's the game in lowest graphics!
the graphic is still fine and the game run's much better
search "MC4.LowestGraphics1.0.1.apk" in google. to run it u should download data files to, but any data files
you have should be fine, and this apk will run the game in lowest graphics for you.

It sure as hell helps! On my s3 now at a constant 60fps. I don't care for the lower graphics. The only problem is that I can't seem to play online with this install =(

You don't need to use pirate apks, you can do it userself too with this tool Link
Just download additional mods package .zip file by hamdir and place it it mods folder and run the apk modder and select Graphics mode 0(lowestgraphics).
Running with this mod for past 8 days, Buttery smooth !
Has anyone tried with the latest update? If so, does it run better with the high effects, enough to be smoothly playable?

It always happens with the first builds of game from gameloft, wait for a few updates, mail them, put comment, and they will probably fix it.
