Navigation Programs - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

I have the x10 mini pro with mini cm7 rom. I 've tried to install some navigation programs like navigon and igo and they didn't work. When I had froyobread the navigon works. Which is the problem the rom or the android version?

some gps app dosent work on 2.3..try use sygic mobile map v10 on ur 2.3..it will work..

I found google navigation to be better than any stand alone sat-nav when im working, finds house names even in the countryside but ive never used navigon or igo
X10 Mini Pro runnin miniCM7Pro V7+ with custom red xperia theme

Not free but NDrive works the best on my Xperia X10 Mini Pro.
Offline maps, turn-by-turn navigation.. All I could want with a nice UI.
TomTom...I am waiting for you soo loong, it's the best.
ndrive is best
In Polish - Naviexpert but its not free and works only in online mode

Google Navigation does not have turn-by-turn voice guidance..
For really simple GPS software i use rmaps with google offline maps. (to see where am i)
For navigation i use navigon ( not free)
I wanted Navigon but downloading maps was horribly slow so I tried NDrive and it looks great, it does everything I need (although I haven't tested it yet very much).

I use Copilot but can't find a decent (free) keyboard that will work, the stock keyboard is less than useless
Offline mapping I use osmand (open street map android). I have downloaded the maps using tangogps (linux app) onto sd card and then used on phone. (had to add .png.tile to the .png to use) You need to change settings to use the same map files and storage locations. The POI's work very well, banks, food, transport etc. nav is not really workable in Sydney (tries to fit 5 Million pop city onto mini too much data!)

I tried a few with the particular requirement that video call between desktop computer and phone be possible. The only solution I found was ooVoo. I don't know where I got it, thought I had found it on the market, but it seems to be no longer available. I do have a beta version installed though that works.
It will use the photo camera, so you might want to find a mirror if you want to see the other party and be seen at the same time...
Performance is OKish, did a short test on wifi with desktop computer, framerate was quite low and laggy sometimes, also had a quite noticeable delay in the audio, but at least it worked...
HTH.
Bye, Roland!
oovoo is gud but i thnk fring is gud if u require to chat btwn mobiles nly. . .. . you can download it from itz original site fring.com

Best Offline GPS Navigation App?

Hello guys, as the title says, I'm looking for a good and accurate offline gps navigator.. I live in Singapore..
Sent from my E15i using XDA Premium App
I believe for europe the best is iGO.
Yes,it's the best for me.
Sygic, better than Google navigation and map
Igo,Sygic,Ndrive,Papago ---> can't tracking
Navitel ---> can do a tracking
One negative thing about Navitel is...we can't enter UTM coordinates (so we have to convert it first ) ----> I miss Garmin
question:
is iGo run with any lag ?
for me it's laggy a litle bit
I have lag too
Igo works without lag. MiniCm and 710 OC

I prefer CoPilot, definitely better than iGo, much more functions, and customizations, and the map from navteq is the best on the market for my country (Croatia), (i know iGo also have maps from navteq - but they are not identical), that's only my opinion...
I agree - CoPilot!
Sygic is the best i think. Fast, smart, and easy to set it. Btw its basic datas requires much free space.
i use IGO and it's very nice you can download maps by torrent ;0)
Navigon is the one for me. I've got the Europe mappack and it always lead me exactly to where I wanted to go ;-)
Navigon is the best of

Just a software could make it works, but realize that is a kind of weird regarding you havent front camera, so you cant see and be seen at same time.

[APP] Market 3.4.4 for x10 mini pro

Hi people, found this whilst browsing the net.
Works on miniCM7pro.
Not sure if it works below 2.3 GB or not.
Should actually work on any android device running 2.3 I think.
Anyways, for those that want it, here it is. Main features are it runs a bit faster.
You are late, already posted.
