People that bought their Evo3D from Wirefly - HTC EVO 3D

for those that ordered from wirefly in the past, have you ever changed/cancelled service within the 6 month time period? I bought my evo 3d from them at the release date and was thinking of leaving sprint without paying the ETF(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1226343), but not sure if and how Wirefly will charge me.

94 views and not one response?? Am I the only one in this situation?

From what I unferstand you don't need to pat them anything only sprint ETF
Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk

I did once about two years ago. In addition to the ETF, wirefly informed me I owed their company money. I dont remember how much, $200 I think. They called me a few times about it and I never paid it. That was the last I heard of it, they never turned it in, so it didnt affect my credit.

yeah,, but with the administrative fee chanage, I wouldnt have to pay SPRINT. Still concerned that Wirefly might report me or worse, have a collection agency call me every 15 minutes. I guess I am the only one in this situation....lol

Instant Rebates from Sprint for Evo 3D

Does anyone know when the instant rebate offer will end from Sprint? Will it be renewed again like it has been so far or will it end before the Evo 3D is released?
I'm asking because I want to preorder the Evo 3D from Sprint, but if I have to go through a mail in rebate I might as well go to Radioshack.

Go with Radioshack anyways. They charge tax on the sale price of the phone, not the "without contract" price. I know cause I added on an EVO and Shift onto my account this weekend.

Just makes me laugh that T-Mobile is goingvto have 2 dual core phones before sprint even has one...
And T-Mobile has had release dates set weeks ahead of time

Bo in general our company. Policy's suck...
I seen dozens of people complained how the sales associate pushed them into it or they basically force you to get upgrades/warranties/all the cases and chargers...
The phones are fine it's just some of the upselling could calm down

Are you sure? Did this just start recently? They didn't tax me on the full price of the phone when I bought my Evo from BB last year. I still have the receipt. I was charged the two year upgrade rate of 199.00 for the phone and I bought a 35.00 case along with it. The subtotal was 234.98. Tax was 16.45. Total cost was 251.43. Tax rate in Indiana is 7 percent. Had I been charged tax on the full price of the phone which was what? 600.00? I would have paid almost 42.00 on the phone tax alone.
Now what they did do that I didn't like, was charge tax on the 50 dollar gift card which should have been deducted from the final tax cost but it wasn't so I paid 3.50 too much in tax.
Alright I pre-ordered it. The dude that worked there was cool... I almost thought they were closed because there was only 1 car towards the back and looked dark. Anyway the dude that worked there was really cool and we talked about the phone a little. He said he thinks early- mid June and also that he would personally call or email me when the release date is announced.

quick question about $75 upgrade

So there's the $75 I get off the off-contract price and the money I get from my evo, but do I get any rebates if I renew my contract?

Check this thread out and call the number in the first post. Tell them you are interested in getting an EVO 3D or a few if you have more people on your plan. Be really nice and don't be rude at all. Tell them if they can manually override your discount and if they do you will be purchasing the EVO 3D for sure. I tried it and the first time the lady said no but I called back the next day, talked to someone else and the guy did it for me in no problem in 5 minutes. It's worth a shot, try a couple times if it doesn't work.
(877)775-4886
they only way you get the $75 is by renewing your contract for 2years (but its essentially only one since at the time of doing it your only a year into your current and they don't stack, they overwrite)

Only if you use more than 2gb a month and need the speed. Otherwise T-Mo has a deal right now. Two lines of service, unlimited text/talk/data for $49.99 per line. However, after 2gb data it throttles the speed to 2G speeds...
But hey, for a casual couple/family, that is an amazing deal. If not for getting the Evo3D we would probably switch and save $50 a month and get more minutes. So far, the most data I've used in a month has been 3gb, but I average only about 1.2-1.5gb a month.
I avg 8gb on my phone and 4gb on my wifes. But we do not have home internet we tether for free.

The $1 increase is still worth it to me. You never know what will happen and with TEP you are covered for anything pretty much. My sister just messed up her brand new Iphone and didn't have insurance. Now she's pretty much screwed. I told her dumbass husband to get the insurance, but just like most people, he didn't.
Your complaining about a dollar increase ? Why was this topic started. Bro how you get the 3d can't even pay 1$ more a month.
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
Screw their insurance, I canceled mine when it went from $5 to $7. I have saved more than enough since I cancelled TEP to outright buy new phones, without accounting for the ridiculous $100.00 deductible.
My 370ZX cost less to insure per dollar, with no deductible.

Beware of Sprint 100$ "credit"

If you accept the credit it will extend your contract for another year. reps at the store wont tell you though upgrade date will remain the same though but if u thinking bout leaving don't take the credit
Sent from my MB855 using xda premium
how do i get this 100 credit havent heard anything about it. I dont plan on leaving sprint anytime soon so why not if it dosnt effect my upgrade date.
most credits or discounts do this, that's why you do them at the start of a contract not in the middle or towards the end
Uh, the whole point of the credit is to get you to resign your contract, do you seriously expect $100 credit for nothing?
It might be that your rep is shady and was misguiding you about this, but it's always how it's been.
I just want to find out about this credit. I havent heard anything about it. And i am more then willing to add a year to my contract if it dose not effect my upgrade. I mean i love the photon but in 20 months i am sure i will want something new to play with.

+1 when they killed premier that was all I needed to realize I'll be paying full price for phones and not signing any more contracts. The benefit of the contract is 100% one sided for the carrier. Where's my benefit? Them subsidizing $200 but charging me $350 if I wanted to leave?
Im curious what the OP believed the reason for the $100 was. I can't imagine someone would think a cell company, or any company for that matter, is giving away $100 no strings or expectations.
If it sounds to good to be true ......

$79.00 (+ tax) = $1896.00! Sprint is getting their share!!! I like the "you piss me off I'm outta here for free!" feeling! Not to mention, do you know how many free phones they have offered me? If it's a reproducible problem you might be able to get out of restocking...if it's intermittent, probably not. The fee is $50.

It'll be a $50 fee for any exchange unless you can reproduce the issue and are exchanging for the same phone. If you have issues they will exchange it for the same model with no fee charge. If you want a different model, then a fee will be charged. Choose wisely

I am a RSA in a T-mobile Corp Store. From T-Mobiles return/exchange policy there is a $50 fee for return/exchange for most smartphones. Some of the smartphones have a $75 fee like the Note 2 and the Iphone 5. The Manger has to override the restocking fee and most mangers will not override it unless you can show us the problem in the store. There is no known issue right now about reboots in our internal system. I am not saying that it isn't a issue but I have yet to see any HTC One reboot that I have sold. Most of the time if you want to exchange the phone for the same model the fee is removed. If you want to change to a different phone or just do a full return the fee is almost always charged unless we see the problem.

T-Mobile also replaces your phone for one year (refurbished), or if you have the insurance bundle they will always replace it. They send it next day air, then you return the defective phone. It's $5 if you have insurance or $25 if you don't.

Its what we have been told when we tell customers. Its pretty much just like the new PHP costs. If you get PHP for your phone and the full bundle is $11.99 your phone most likely has a $75 restocking fee. I am sure it is because of the cost of the phone. The Note 2 is a $700 phone where the GS3 is a $500 phone. I know the HTC One for PHP is $11.99. We were told to put the $75 restocking fee sticker on the phone for customers to know. Also if you look your re receipt it talks about it there as well. I think T-Mobile calls the $75 ones super phones where the $50 ones are called smartphones.
