Dear, your phone is 2.1 firmware, why can't use just flash the 2.3 update using the flashtool?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=928343
visit the above thread and try to follow the same.
Also, if you find it difficult to follow it, instead of trying with PC companion, download Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS) from web and update with that.
I'm sure it will work.
All the best
This is difficult for me .
Can you leave me a link for Sony Ericsson Update Service,if that is not a problem to you
Thanks a lot!

You can't run a gingerbread rom with the stock kernel! Thats why you stick on the stock kernel logo (sony ericcson). Read the first post of the rom you flashed carefully. Isn't there something like you need costum kernel, unlock bootloader first...
What Rom did you Flash?
I hope you did a Backup in recovery ?
Did you follow the install instructions? Full wipe... Tell us a bit more, so we ca help you

SEUS is the Sony Ericsson Update Service. As the name says, it updates your phone and repairs if necessary.
If you are trying to flash a new ROM, you have to unlock bootloader first, install custom kernel and then flash the new ROM. Look for the tutorials, they should help.

You need to unlock the Bootloader. Then you can flash a Costum Kernel. Use The flashtool, it's a Genius "one big Button Tool" from Bin4ry and Androxyde Thank and Donate to them. Read here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=10881307. Its a "How to Guide". The Flashtool you can get here: http://androxyde.github.com/Flashtool I hope this helps. Happy modding
U20i/nAaCM7+Kernel/XDAPremium
Before flashing a custom kernel, be sure you meet the requirements to do so. I mean, sometimes you need a specific baseband version in order for the kernel to work properly

But are you trying to flash a custom ROM, right? What version? I mean, there is a bunch out there: MiniCM7, CM7MiniPro, GingerDX, etc.
Specifying it would be a lot helpful for us, too.

No it is the Homepage of the Flashtool. 100% real . But lets start from the beginning and please be more specific! Did you repair your Phone with SE Companion? Or are you trying to Flash over and over again? When you have a bootloop the Flashtool can't reconize your Phone

Does anybody has any idea that for how long Sony will support our X10 Mini or X10 Mini Pro for flashing 2.1 (via SEUS or PC Companion). I mean to say that for how long we will be able to get android 2.1 if we flash via SEUS or PC Companion. When is expected that sony will remove these phones from their list in SEUS or PC companion...??

No one knows but Sony. I can't see them pulling that option anytime soon, because it requires no work for them to keep it in, apart from hosting the firmwares on their servers, but in any case, you can make your own 'rescue' firmware to flash with flashtool if you want to have it available for eternity
There is a tutorial for that somewhere, i think in the General section of this forum.
@ SmG67
Hey, Thanks for your reply...!! Are you talking about the tutorial titled "How to make your regional firmware a .ftf file". If yes...then can you please tell me that flashing this output .ftf firmware via flashtool will give me stock android 2.1? What if my boot loader is unlocked. I fear it might brick my phone. Pleas give some suggestion...!!
Thanks in advance.

To use flashtool, first download the firmware you want, then check usb debugging in your cellphone (settings/development options). Now turn off the cellphone, then open flashtool.exe, put flash and select the firmware you want to flash (with termination ftf) now there will be an advice in the computer screen sayin to conect the phone, conect it by pressing the volume down button until a green light is showed at the notification light part in the cellphone then flashtool will begin to flash the phone and wait it to finish the process. That all I hope it help you, sorry fot my bad english.

Install PC Companion on your PC, it came on the disk with your phone, go into support zone and choose update. After that, just follow the instructions. They're quite clear.
If you don't have the CD with PC Companion on it, download the Sony Update Service from their website, install it and use that to update your firmware.
