[Q] Rom questions - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Ok so ive had my atrix since around may when my iphone broke and i fell in love <3
I overlooked any problems (Which it only had about 1 or two) and i took it into my home
So now that i've done the basic of hacks on my atrix i want to try custom roms DD
But im scared ****less to do it :O
because of a couple of reasons
1. the infamous wifi bluetooth reboot issue on gingerbread when you root
2. bricking
3. not being able to return to stock
4. wanting to change roms and cant
5. malware viruses etc. (Least of my troubles)
6. hardware issues
7. Not having a backup of my data because i have to program to do that :/
8. Not knowing any roms ._.
9. any other problems
10. Setting my phone on fire (Overclock roms)
11. Scary modding words (CWM Bootunlock CM7 MIUI Etc) Lol
Im not asking any one to answer all my questions for i am an idiot so i have alot of them with most likely complicated answer
But maybe if anyone who looks at this can help me out with 1 question or 2 i can find my answer to all and have cool ass roms like the pros do
So if anyone could answer my questions and perhaps give me tips and THEIR favorite backup programs and roms please do
-Thanks in advance

Flash this ClockWorkMod recovery to your phone
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1204500
That should take care of your issue of not having a recovery , and will give you a way to return back to your current stock rom if you screw things up.
Also download LBE privacy guard from the market, at least then if you get malware you will see it trying to do shady **** like send out SMS or make phone calls.
ROM toolbox from the market will let you flash ROMS, once you have CWM installed of course and unlock the bootloader. Make a backup first!.

1. Haven't had that issue at all since I've rooted/unlocked bootloader.
2. Possible, but only if you don't pay attention and follow instructions or bad luck.
3. You can return to stock via a ROM but it will never be stock as in how you received the phone, once you unlock your bootloader, it stays unlocked.
4. You can change ROMs as much as you want.
5. Malware/viruses, download lookout mobile (free version) and you're all set.
6. Hardware, take care of your phone and you'll be fine.
7. Titanium Backup from the android market to back up apps/system data, CWM which is used for installing roms can do FULL backups of EVERYTHING.
8. Check out the Atrix 4G Development Section.
9. Banana's
10. Highest OC atm is 1.3GHz and it's very stable
11. Not as scary as you think.
For the majority of info that you need, just read up on this thread.

Well since you were very helpful and also the only person i know thats still up (Hehehe)
Do you think i should unlock my bootloader?? You know since your a very educated individual when it comes to this

Do you want to flash roms and kernels then yes. If you like the stock rom and battery is giving you good life stay. Unlocking it is easy if you follow the.pudding. just read over it then start doing it, as you do each step, read ahead, do next. Wash, rinse repeat. If you run into problem come back here before you make your next move.

[Q] to root or not to root

i have no idea what kernels, roms and modems are, yet i want my phone to be as fast as possible with the least amount of lag, to be able to download better apps (root required), and to uninstall bloatware(?). will "voiding my warranty" be beneficial to me and make me EXTREMELY happy with my vibrant as opposed to just fairly happy with it, or does it involve things way over my head that wont be worth my time and possible risk (bricking it)? to root...or not to root...? thanks for your opinions and advice!

IMO the benefits of rooting your phone does outweigh the benefits of leaving it stock (for warranty purposes). It looks like you know what you can achieve by rooting but before you decide to, I really do recommend that you read up on every sticky there is on this forum. I did tons of lurking and even when I joined, I literally lived in the reference threads before I decided to root mine and my husband's phone. Personally, I did it because our phones began to lag so much and my hubby's phone was in desperate need of reflashing to stock (it was crashing randomly and relocking itself after unlock - it was a good thing I had saved our codes). Just having ROM Manager and Titanium Backup saved so many butts on this forum when unfortunate things happen while experimenting.
Take my advice...
Rooting your vibrant can be "glorious"... if you follow directions.
First read some "first time" threads... get familiar etc..
Some advice.
1. Use one click root, or some other "one click solution"
2. After rooting, start small by installing clock work mod.
MAJOR: Make a backup... NANDROID BACKUP SAVES EVERYONE!
3. After this, start applying some mods like lockscreen etc...
4. Then start by flashing kernels. (start with voodoo... this makes the phone fast)
(then flash bali, you will get 1.5 days worth of battery life, with 10% to spare)
5. Then flash roms! They can change your phone experience!
Be sure to read directions, and don't be afraid to ask 10000's of questions on threads to make sure you know what you are flashing (just make sure it hasn't been mentioned on the first post)
do i only have one kernel and one rom at a time or can you have mult kernels/roms installed?
Op, I would encourage reading the guides in my signature. Let me know if I can help.
Rooting is the best thing you can do for your phone in my opinion.
Bro take a look at some post and you better follow directions... its the best thing for your phone, just like a new girl u have and u ask how the hell you could get her.. lml get familiar with odin because it will be your best friend to unbrick... also get z4root app to easy root, search in the bar for it cuss its not in the market... anything just ask me brother..... but first get familiar with all about rooting this phone ... gonna skip some bricks like happened to me when started

If you root the phone try using my rom lols
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA Premium App
Root is great fella read up on it. You can always unroot and what not if you need to take it back
I use swype so expect bad grammar and errors
And I would say the exact opposite about one-click roots.. your choice man. And this phone is incredibly (incredibly) hard to brick...
You guys are talking to a phone!

Actually, just in case you won't to look at options...
here is a guide I typed up for someone last night that lists the steps of going to ODIN > Root > CWR > Flash
Here are the steps.. again, I have more detailed guides but this shows you the process pretty easily.

Yeah, be sure and read some and then if anything doesn't make sense or you question the process, just let me know. Then go back and read again... you will be confident in the steps. It's not hard.
Telling someone not to read because it's boring is so uncool.

[Q] Transformer Prime from China - No Android Market or other Google Services!

Hey all,
I've been dying to get my hands on a Transformer Prime since first hearing about so when I was in China (I live in Germany) over Christmas I scoured the place and alas, success! However, after briefly playing with it I realized I had no Android Market and no other Google Services either.
I've looked all over the place for solutions but I seem to be the only European Prime user with a device from Asia. Other people with other devices have written about simply downloading the APKs for Market and the Google Framework and installing it but that doesn't work for me.
I'm new at this but I thought maybe rooting the device would give me the freedom to install the Market properly but after using ViperBoy's method yesterday I can't really do much more than I could before..
Any ideas what I can do?
Thanks
could be a Chinese knockoff or could be that you no longer have GPS (as a rumor about requiring GPS to have google services). The other possibility is that you got a pre production model or one that left the factory (sneaky) and ended up not not having everything installed. Anyways, root and the cyanogenmod's gaps (Google Apps) should work.
hey there, ive in the same situation and asked here already lol
it seems that we need to wait till the bootloader is unlocked to flash other region's rom, it voids the warranty but there isnt mmuch we can do.
alternatively, someone talked about rooting and then installing vending.apk something like that to make it work, but i think i'll just wait till bootloader is unlocked and flash uk/us rom

Thanks, that's what I was worried about. I guess I'll have to wait.
I did manage to install the vending.apk and I have the Android Market icon but when I click on it it asks me if I want to add a Google Account and when I click yes it just crashes on me.
Have you tried installing the german firmware? You can download it from the ASUS site.
Worth a shot.
Are u sure your bootloader is locked. Wouldn't It make sense that in order for them to leave it unlocked Google would of removed and blocked their services?

Not sure, no. How can I confirm that its locked?
This is an unfortunate situation. Although I hope it serves as a lesson to not buy products from a repressed country, it is a horrible lesson to learn this way.
Yes, you are probably out of luck until you get the unlocker from ASUS which will toss you out in the cold as far as support. Its worth trying to flash the firmware to the German one if you can, but its unlikely this will bring the market back. At best, it may make it easier to install the market manually.
If I was in the same boat though, I would wait for the unlocker and another mod of it. You, at least, may get better updates, but may have to wait longer for ICS. I would recommend CyanogenMod, but they don't support the Transformers yet. Its on the road map for CM9, but that could still be a while off. Not that we know when ASUS will provide the unlocker. It took HTC forever to provide some of theirs, and some are still waiting.
Of course there is always the option of eBaying yours and getting a new one, or trying to return the one you had. Probably not an clean option, but would get your a warrantied device.
Have you tried calling ASUS and explaining you did not know this would be crippled? Maybe if you sent it off to them they would fix it up for you.
Try updating with a firmware from Europe or USA. (if you don't have the latest firmware)
must be ROOT first
here,download this rar:115.com/file/dnm2myhu
then got the /system/app
use root Explorer copy all files to TF201's /system/app
then give the apks Permissions rw-r-r
just like this:

then reboot your tf201
im Chinese,my English is not good, but i have use GMS on my tf201

I'll hold off contacting ASUS for now. In all my excitement I actually "bribed" an authorized ASUS vendor with equivalent of 200 $ to get the device. I don't even know if they've now officially started selling them yet.
I downloaded the European firmware now (DE SKU, at least). Can anyone tell me how exactly I can flash it to the device? (sorry, bit of a newbie)
In any case I guess the current situation is not a total dealbreaker for me as its possible to get the APK files for most apps and I can then manually install them...but it still sucks.
Thanks for all your help!

It seems to be something with all (Asus) chinese tablets. For example the TF101: http://www.transformerforums.com/fo...lp/4016-asus-tf101-chinese-version-issue.html
Hi,
as posted yesterday I bought GENUINE TF in China then I realized the chinese version is full of restrictions.
Example I can download application because this is with out Andr. Mkt equipped, no gmail , no maps and so on.
Asus support told to download the firmware :
UpdateLauncher_WW_epaduser_84411 , I did it I copy the unzipped files/folders to a SD , i put in the microSD to the TF but nothing happen...
What I can do to" transform" my transfomer ASUS cn Tablet to ASUS android europe?

[QPST] Rezound QPST Diag mode

Warning!!! Assuming you can find QPST and get it running, don't play around unless you know what you are doing. It is extremely likely you will brick your phone.
In the midst of my poking around I discovered you can enable the phone's diag mode with:
In rom:
Code:
echo 1 > /sys/devices/virtual/android_usb/android0/f_diag/on
In recovery:
Code:
echo 1 > /sys/devices/virtual/usb_composite/diag/enable
I haven't been able to find any driver downloads that work with it, but I did get Window 7 64 bit working:
In fastboot:
Code:
fastboot oem enableqxdm
1. Open Windows device manager
2. Double click on HTC DIAG (or HTC 9k DIAG for LTE, I haven't tried that one yet though)
3. Update Driver
4. Browse My computer for software
5. Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer
6. Ports (COM and LPT)
7. HTC Corporation
8. HTC Diagnostic Interface
So far I have only done this from inside my booted rom. I still need to test from recovery.
This is a screen shot of some of what is available in QPST EFS explorer:

Very interesting.
Maybe this will lead to something more

"If you are posting something that others may use regarding development such as a new ROM, kernel, guide, mod, recovery, or tool, it will be posted there. "
All of my threads have directly pertained to this statement. The android development folder is where this info has generally been posted for other phones, so it seemed reasonable to do so for the Rezound as well.
If mods want to move it I don't care. I was just posting in the place that most closely fit the rules.

I would assume so, although I don't know the code. The benefit of this method is that it is easily scriptable, and you can use it from recovery (although the path is slightly different).
The only benefits to this diag mode is manually changing the PRL, or if you wanted to provision the phone to another cdma network, Other then that no real development use/need.

I am sorry that you are the opinion that it is worthless. However, it does have merit and I am glad I posted it for the people that it helped out. Whatever you think, being able to access diagnostic modes for devices is essential to development. All the other people who have posted the same information in the other HTC phone dev forums seem to agree with me. Since It took me quite a while to get some of this working on the rezound due to it not being in this forum, I thought it might be useful to someone else. I personally like sharing information I have learned. The path to enable this diagnostic mode is not the same as any other phone I came across. This leads me to believe that it is useful information.
Just tell us what we can do with it. Then it isn't worthless. That is seriously the only difference. If there is something that can be done with it, by all means, post it. I know you don't want to help me so I won't be expecting anything.

I honestly assumed that all the all knowing people in this forum would already know why one would want to be able to access our phone with QPST. I've only been doing HTC dev for a couple days and I already figured it out.
Off the top of my head:
Back up NV ram without being in recovery
Full access to EFS
Access to change all NV variables
Radio troubleshooting
Radio transmit power
A real world example would be the ability to trouble shoot the SMS problems associated with using the Rezound on non-Verizon networks.
I wasn't even looking for any of this. All I wanted to do was turn on the serial output over USB, but I came across this information and I thought someone else would find it useful. As I've said before, people thought it was useful for other phones. How was I to know that it would be received as such here.
I know that a lot of you already know this stuff. The problem is that since it was assumed we wouldn't have S-OFF no one has posted it for our phone. That means that the people who are doing dev work more complicated than changing font size in a ROM have had to look elsewhere for information. I haven't posted a single thing in this dev forum that wasn't posted in another HTC phone's dev forum. I also haven't posted anything that was already clearly answered in a post in the rezound forums. I personally think that everything I have posted is relevent to dev work. Other forums have used blurry-cam shots for developing S-OFF. It was reasonable to think that clear highres shots might be useful for something. People are still locking and unlocking their bootloaders. It was reasonable to think that having super CID so that you wouldn't have to lock the bootloaders before flashing an RUU would be useful to some. Personally, I like being able to have my hboot not say "locked". If nothing else, how is that any different from people who like a different splash screen for their phone? I can guarantee I've spent more time in hboot than anyone here has spent looking at their splash screen. Aside from that, I actually have come across some very minuscule things that superCID brings that I can't articulate right now. I'm way too pissed off to get that technical. Maybe it is worthless, but with the work I'm doing it would be stupid to not consider it. Until I posted here I had no clue people would think it was worthless and there wasn't anything in any of our forums to suggest otherwise.
I could go on, but I'll change direction a bit. I'm working on getting 100% pure AOSP working with a current 3.3 kernel and a new customized hboot. I already have the kernel compiled and semi-working and would be in the same place with AOSP but google made changes to their build process in the last month and I ended up with a corrupted build tree. I haven't wanted to say anything because a. I don't want to get people excited if it ended up not working or I decide something else is more interesting, and b. because I want to have something that is past the pre-alpha stage before I say anything.
EVERYTHING I have posted is useful information for the DEV work I am doing. I just wasted 5+ hours dealing with the fact I thought someone else might like the info and having to deal with the snooty people that ruin XDA for the people like me who are doing this kind of work for the pure thrill of the fact that it is borderline impossible. I personally think AOSP is flawed at its core and is ultimately a waste of time, but I don't care because it is still something fun to work on and I'd like to think that I can ultimately make a tiny difference towards fixing the issues I see with it. Discussions like this just make me want to delete my account and just keep the info to myself.
Well if you would have posted that to begin with we wouldn't be having this problem.

I assumed that all knowing people like you already knew it. I admit it is completely my bad for not going deeper into it. Aside from the fact that I thought I was doing the right thing part of the reason I posted in the dev forums is because I didn't want people who haven't at least read the dev forums messing around with this stuff since there is a pretty much 100% chance of ruining your phone if you don't know what you are doing (and probably not much lower of a chance even if you do. I'm honestly kind of surprised I haven't bricked my phone yet).

Since you mentioned it. Might be a good idea to put a big red disclaimer at the top stating that if you don't know what you are doing you will brick your phone.
Concerning aosp are you close to just booting? Or have you been working on ril too?

Good point, will do so. Don't know why I didn't think of it.
Unfortunately I lost all my work with AOSP. I only just now got the source re-synced. Hopefully it won't take me too long to get back up and going though. I'm going to start from scratch this time instead of building off of someone else's work so when I have errors they will be mine and I won't have to look all over the place trying to figure out what is going on. I did just get done with a basic generic build though so at least that is working.

[Q] Reset binary counter on Jelly Bean

Hi everyone, I recently got my SII back from repair running 4.0.4 stock, I rooted and flashed Resurrection Remix v3.1.2 (4.1.2) last night and want to reset my binary counter to 0 and remove the yellow triangle.
I have realised however that the last time I used my USB jig I was running Gingerbread and now that I am on Jelly Bean it won't work anymore!
So my question is this, can I just create a nandroid of my current ROM, flash a GB ROM using CWM and then restore from my nandroid backup (wiping fully inbetween flashing of course)? Will this work or is there a better method?
Thanks in advance!
Triangle Away ?
Edit - Although...Why are you worried about the flash counter if you're running/obviously intend to keep running a non-stock rom ? If the phone craps itself with that rom on it, you're basically throwing dice as to whether they'll fix it or not given you weren't able to go back stock before the phone died. In that situation, won't matter what the counter is at.
Worry about the counter if you end up with a problem that needs fixing but doesn't completely disable the phone & where you'll still be able to go back to ICS stock/reset the counter.

It's really just incase something out of the norm happens, it's not that much trouble to go through to have a triangle free phone and one with a binary counter set at 0. I'd basically like to do whatever I need to do to prevent them from knowing I'm running custom.
For example my phone completely died hence the repair and I'm not sure whether the binary counter played any role (I doubt it did) but it was good to know that it was set to 0 either way.
E. g. What about if I can't restore stock and need to do it through CWM or something then my flash counter has already been reset.
i think you can flash GB bootloader. put in download mode. use your USB jig. then reflash a ICS bootloader and use triangle away on your current rom

I realize this is old but hope an email will go out or something. I have to return my phone. I updated to jelly bean through the samsung site which took away the root accesss. I know have no triangle but I do have a 1 on the binary counter. The Jig won't work. I don't want to root again to use triangle away as I don't know how to get back to stock. I rooted my sons phone after upgrading to Jelly Bean. It is a bad port. One has nothing to do with the other but we all know that won't matter. I'll post tonight in the general forums and hope for an answer.
You have no other option on JB. You need to re-root, Triangle Away, unroot (Get a stock rom from Samfirmware, flash it with Odin). Or go back to GB (again, get a GB rom from Samfirmware & flash with Odin) & use a jig.
You have got to be kidding me
This post was last answered in 2011. I am not sure how the forums work yet. I am trying to follow the rules. I realize the need to keep information from being cluttered up. I thought getting a new thread out, since this one is years old with hardly any participation anyway, couldn't hurt. If the new post I made on the old thread is going to be seen, as easily as the new thread would of been, could you explain how? Help a new person out. Talking to me like I am four years old and telling on me is a little overboard. I am curious if the Mods knew the first question was on a two year old thread. Maybe me posting a reply brings it back to the top. I don't know. I hope tp keep getting this stuff down and be in the place to help others. I know I wouldn't worry if someone asked a question on a two year old thread, that will remain up either way, and then tried to create a thread. Heck outside of someone being blatantly rude I don't see why it matters to me. Yes keeping the forums clean is important, Do you feel better know that the Mods pulled my question? Feel like you are part of XDA developers? Step outside the house and get some fresh air. It would do you a lot of good. Perhaps the way I titled the thread I may have got an answer. Now I am on a thread that the question was not answered. I have already found your answer to be wrong. It involves writing in the terminal emulator which I am not comfortable with but it kind of makes a point. People and their power trips amaze me.I guess you may tell again.
We have rules for a reason. Mods did the right thing. The end.
My answer is correct for the I9100/I9100T. You did not specify in your above post that you had some obscure ****box variant that you did specify in your thread which was correctly closed by a moderator (Your mistake again, forum rules specify you should give as much information as possible when asking for help, including phone model).
Best of luck getting your phone sorted (Yes, I'm being sarcastic, and yes, you're on ignore).
Really funny part
is I could get the question up 100 different ways. I won't. I have many other issues with this I can tie into the question and ask again without it being a repeat. Could ask a friend to ask. I know the Mods can ban me for that type of stuff. Keep me out at least from this ISP address. I have no desire for that to happen. I just am totally amazed you took part of your day to talk to me like I am 4 and tell on me. A simple explanation would have been nice. When you ask your question on a two year old thread the chances of it being seen are exactly the same as if I post a new thread, How that could be possible I don't know since the titles were different. If my posting on an old thread bumps it up to the top I will look for that. In the grand scheme of things what did you accomplish or help? You are the same type of person that lost my good friend a contest he deserved to win., He was running away with a slogan on a GIJOE site. He asked me to vote. I asked my 3 family members to vote, Someone saw the 4 votes came from the same ISP and banned him. No where did it say two people in the same house couldn't vote. It didn't matter. A senior memeber pointed it out to the mods. O no you don't....I wish sometimes that people had to say what they say on here in real life. Be blessed brother and be vigilant in making sure no one makes a MISTAKE. I sure would like to hear how this question has the same chance as my own thread to be answered.
---------- Post added at 12:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:18 PM ----------
the method will work on the model you point out according to the thread. I don't know. having my thread up may have helped clear it up.. Another reason for me starting my own thread was to clearly state it as it pertained to me. I am sure the Mods spent all of three seconds looking at it, and under the general rule of not doubling up, deleted my thread. Yes their job. If I manage to ask other questions, which I do have, and list this as one of my problems will you tell then also? I'm glad you feel so empowered by this. A real sense of accomplishment. Unbelievable. You make a good point. I didn't in fact double up because I put a lot more information. I thought that person may have solved it and could help. I then decided to word it to the best of my ability and start a thread. Thanks! Hope it made you very happy. Be blessed man. Keep on the lookout to help the Mods do their job. I mean it eing my first thread started I really clog things up around here. Amazing,
mods
So I get to answered by you because it notifies you and can't get the question out there. Makes sense. I'll take he time later to get with a mod and get Itcstraightned out. How do I know thie is your one way to feel better about yourself. I have found other optione but accordint to you I have to only hear your opinion. I can now go aek about those optionw and it wont be doubling up. Thankfully not everyone ie orbyou r mind. There arebdosenw or threads, some by the same person, that give different info rmation. I never said the phone was obscure. Several carriers use this version. Are you like the post police? I'll put together a post with all the options I have found and ask who has had luck with what. Is that something you will tell on me for?

VS985 AZADI ROM no Mobile data on 35b

Hi guys, I installed the 35b and the latest azadi rom following all the instructions and i dont have movile data at all, calls are normal, on screen notifications the message: "SIM card is not from Verizon Wireless", I really like this ROM so i´m very sad, i´m in Colombia in Movistar service, thanks for any help,
You might change the title of the thread to include the carrier you're using since it's possible only people who use this phone on that carrier would know what specifically to do to make the phone work with the carrier, if possible.
Did the phone previously work with this carrier on another ROM you had flashed or on completely stock?

Maybe it's related to that.
I don't fault her to be honest. I see the attitude not just here on XDA but in real life with certain people showing little to no respect at all towards others who have put long hard hours working away from family/friends/etc only to be treated like crap and "ooohhhh why doesn't this have this feature like other thing has you need to have that feature."
I'dont get it...it was the best MM rom for that phone. Of course u are gonna get many folks asking for this feature or to do this and that...there are so few roms and this is the most popular. Its a given when u post your stuff to a site like this.
Its like whining about youtube comments....deal with it, get used to it. Ignore it. Real idiots is ones who throw a tantrum, or give a giant middle finger and fume their way off a site blaming others.... BUt they can choose to delete their stuff if they want to, still a **** move. So she switches to an iphone and no longer wants to dev Android...ok....so update the rom thread to say discontinued, and lock it. Simple. But nooooo....to bad. Least I had the files saved.

I use @xdabbeb 's stock rooted 47A firmware with maximum debloating. Debloat zips [UNSTRIKE]and link to @joshua70448 's nice online custom debloat zip generator[/UNSTRIKE] (was down but it's up right now) in the third post of that thread, or in my signature below. I use Nova Prime launcher along with G3TweaksBox, Flast Style Bar Indicators and Greenify Xposed modules (the last one with aggressive doze), and a few others.
While I do want to give Fulmics a try if they ever resolve the reported US 4G issues on the vs985, the 47A rom seems to be working out great. My only "issue" at the moment is that it seems to suck down battery a LOT more (when active) than it did on KitKat - standby is fine.

Ugh, it's amazing how one or two bad apples spoil it for everyone... Azadi was an awesome ROM.
Does anyone happen to have an archived copy of the last build? (2129 I believe, came out a day or two before the thread was deleted) -- I was waiting for it, got sucked up in real life things, then it was gone.
Okay, I can't keep my mouth shut anymore.
Out of the blue, RoxanaSchram posted in the CM13 a rant that I, for one, didn't even understand what she was referring to. This was only the most recent time she had expressed a desire to leave XDA and to go back to iPhone. My impression of her post is that she was rude and disrespectful. Hate XDA? Can't wait to go back to iPhone? What was keeping her? If she did hate XDA and couldn't wait to leave, why was she posting on XDA about it at all, and why in the CM13 thread?
Even before the other person's response to her first post, I thought something similar. "Well, see you!"
It was RoxanaSchram who chose to leave XDA. She was already on her way out - she said so. Noone pushed her. RoxanaSchram is the only one who's responsible for deleting her ROM thread. If you want to blame someone, blame the person who did it - her! Noone else made her do it. Noone else made her delete (or hide) her G3 files from Android File Host.
But somehow you people manage to blame anyone but the only person who's responsible for these things. Roxana. Sure, a few of us have remarked to her initial offending post in like kind. If anything, I felt that responses to her have been fairly restrained. If she doesn't have respect for XDA or it's users (need I remind you her claim about Android users being idiots?), then she should've just gone somewhere else and not posted off topic in the CM13 thread about it.
I keep waiting for users to stop mentioning the whole thing. Somehow, once a day or so, someone manages to make sure the issue is still alive, and here I am doing the same thing so now I'm guilty of it. I'm just tired of Roxana not being held accountable for her actions and the blame being put on others.
Good day.

Without quoting anyone in case there's an issue, I'll just say thanks for the posts, and I apologize for my part in keeping this going.
