[Q] Best Replacement for X10 Mini Pro stock camera app.

We all know X10 mini/pro camera doesn't have much options in it. Would just like to ask which camera application would be a better replacement?

What he said ^
I also like Vignette best and I've tried a lot of the camera apps.
Camera 360 for stability help (like on CM6 one). Vignette is best for applying filter. But myself like Camera 360 a bit better.
But wat if someone was looking for a app with zoom opt ??
I use Camera 360. Better image quality results from stock camera application.
Macro shots are superb!
But no zoom.
I tried installing the latest version of Vignette (02-24-11 version) on my phone but it just makes my screen blink, and that's that. I'm using CyanogenMod. Maybe it's got something to do with that? I would really like to give it a try.

same, and camera 360 blinks as well, not working
I tried installing the latest version of Camera360 since Vignette wouldn't work on my phone. So far worked nicely.
Thanks to those who recommended the app.

I agree.. what app is fine to record video? camera illusion can't works for me
Camera Advance Lite
Hi!
I'm using Camera Advance. It has all the function I need at one touch, the full version is very cheap and can be paid via SMS.
Temes
I think if I search with "sleek camera", something else would turn up in the android market.
lgcamera pro works fine
For video?
Hi guys,
I need a camera software for this:
- need record video
- light on/off WHILE recording video with button and no touchscreen
- video start on/off with button, no touchscreen or photo button.
I found Video Illusion, this nice, but record and lamp on/off with touchscreen. Simple Cam is good (lamp on/off and shutter with volume buttons, simple, no any plus, but best to me), but this only for photo, no video. I need this two apps mixing: just two buttons, no any function.
If possible and need advanced functions, use
- volume buttons to zoom in/out
- photo button record start/stop
- menu button to lamp on/off
Anyone have a tip for this simple function for VIDEO recording WITHOUT touchscreen?

[Q] 3D Multi Angle rip/dumb ?

Hey there !
I´ve got a request :
I just updated my Xperia Arc to 2.3.4 and got some cool new camera features. One feature i`m still missing is the "3d multi-angle" Camera function that seems to be an exclusive feature of the xperia Arc s and Xperia neo V.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yj_HW1GVGzg --> Link to show you what "multi angle is" (skip to 3:30.)
So, is there ANY way to get this on my Xperia Arc or any other Device ?
THANK YOU !
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks

Neo V Camera Settings

Can anyone provide me Best Camera Setting for Taking Pictures and HD Video ?
With the stock Camera App, not any other replacements
As i have seen, the 5Mp pictures on the Neo V are barely 256-500Kb(MAX)
Is there any knows tweak to enhance it ?
Thanks for all your replies
And on CM7 is there any way to disable the auto focusing beeping ?
Its annoying xP
Im am ARC user but i will answer
1. Im using automatic scene, it work well on my arc or touch foucus settings
2. on arc 6mpx work up to 1mb, camera libreary is hard and difficulty do edit so answer for tweaking is NO, many ROM devs have problem to even port it to work, not to improve.
3. Try and search in settings of camera, i only know to say that
I am old X10i User, and missed all its manual features in Neo V,
but here are some suggestion disable touch focus, use steady hands and try HDR Camera App. you will get some good result with it

hey how are u on the stock camera app on a cyanogen ROM ?
use manual settings with spot metering..and tweak scenes according to your needs... stock cam gives poor quality images when the light is low

installed ARC stock camera apk on Ray and i got much better quality!

Hi all.
I'm new to the smartphone world and I got Xperia Ray, I hated the default camera apk 4 its over sharpening and the black small pixels
I tried installing the xperia arc stock camera SemcCameraUI.apk frome here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1141898
drag and drop it in the OTHERS folder and than installed it by apk installer
Now the images are soft like i wanted and you can always add sharpening in pro software (photoshop)

sorry. can i ask a question ?
How can i setup for my ray.

Looking to buy Neo for MIUI, had x10 and Ion.

Im thinking about buying an xperia neo, because i want hdmi and front camera.I have had a few x10s and ended up using oodie prime miui for the last 6 months before getting my xperia ion. I loved miui and it was nice that the x10 had a lanyard hook and worked well with the rom. When I got the xperia ion almost a month ago I realized I missed my x10 with miui.. Im now looking to get a neo, if the miui is as good and stable as the one I had on x10. Heres what I want, relating to miui on neo.
1) Hold home key on lockscreen for torch flashlight
2) Hold volume up/down to change tracks while screen locked (mod)
3) call recording
4) Working blacklist and firewall.
5) hdmi
6) front camera
If all this works Im returning my Ion and getting the neo. It seems the neo is like an x10 with more function, just what I want.

I'm using Neo V(Unlocked bootloader) with MIUI 2.9.7 rom by ZduneX25 and i love it.It is based on stock Sony .587 firmware so far so good..for elegance stock rom is nothing infront of MIUI..:good:
I can confirm the following things
1) Hold home key on lockscreen for torch flashlight- Working
2) Hold volume up/down to change tracks while screen locked (mod)-Didn't checked that yet
3) call recording - Works with latest NightElf 1.5 Kernel
4) Working blacklist and firewall - Working
5) hdmi - Working
6) front camera - Working
Now the decision is yours

Thank you for the nice response! Now a few more questions if you will.
1) Do led notifications work?
2) Does night elf kernel come with the rom or can you provide a link please?
Either way I am ordering the phone, and I hope to contribute to this forum soon.
Why don't you get the Xperia S? It's about €350> now, if you wait a few month, it might be below €300. There's also official MIUI for the S.
But MIUI V4 is indeed very nice, no bugs, MaxWorks ports the update every week. Only downside is that it's very RAM hungry, you won't be able to use heavy apps smoothly (e.g. Maps, YouTube, Music player etc.), also games might close due to RAM shortage.

Led Notifications works and here is the link to NightElf kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1566871
As sdk16420 said its little RAM hungry bcs we have only 512MB..Xperia S is a good option..
This is what i learned from ICS if u want to play with ICS and future android versions u need atleast 1GB RAM devices so best bet is to get Xperia S or anyother devices with 1GB RAM..:good:
Cheers..!
