so i came across this since i also have an incredible
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1247257
and it looks like they already have it working on the incredible, how close are we? id like to see this on my tbolt!!!
I'd say we'll see this on some cooked ROMs sooner rather than later, but I'm hoping that's just a design study and not the actual direction HTC is planning with Sense.
that looks awesome... i can't wait to use in the future.

actually that isnt real sense 3.5, that was mysense from tmobile with sense 3.5
HTC's real sense 3.5 will but muuuuch better than that.
Rom
I checked out 3.5 video and i kinda like it but kinda dont. I know someone here will give us a ROM to check out with 3.5. There seem to be some good features but with all the animations i saw it would have to be a battery killer.
Team Bamf said they are working on a 3.5 port.
I hope to see this happen because looking at all these RSS updates it seems as though the HTC Sensation is getting all the love right now. And its now spreading to the INC, Desire, Evo but not the Thunderbolt.
I'm a Rom addict and always love to try out new roms, but lately its been cold for the thunderbolt. So, I hope to see a new 3.5 leak on the TB.

Unless this is the only Android forum you frequent it has been far from "cold" for the TB. Sure we may not have a 3.5 port yet (last I checked) but its in the works. If this is the only forum you visit check out Rootzwiki and teambamf.net.

Dear All,
I am using Artemis & Duttys HTC ROM's for a while and have deep respect for the GREAT ROMS they both produce.
I would almost call CEO HTC and tell him to hire them!!!! The desire it!!
Only question remains?
The ROM's are both so good that I almost can not see the differences anymore!?
Does somebody see it!?
Thankx!
Artemis & Duttys fan!!!!!!!!
Asking about differences, right?
Well only when you tried Steve's 'Elegancia Roms' ofcourse!
Nah, kidding. It's every one's personal choice and 'feeling' about his/her favotite rom.
I was totally in favor of Sergio's 'Cell Roms' when I had the TP2, never used any other after a long time of flashing others.
When I got my Leo the Sergio's didn't match enough, so I started flashing others and sticked with the Elegancia Roms. They're MY favorite now and, for my needs, perfect.
There no perfect Rom, only your favorite..
I think the answers you are gonna get will make it a lot more harder, simply because it is personal.
The Cooks are amazing in wat the are doing.
Every one has got there favorite.
And lets be real, Dutty,s or Artemis ?
The are long in the bizz of making great Roms.
And the do not stand alone
Energy, Chucky, CleanEx, G10, Elegancia, Core Cell, Lia Roms, Xannytech and Miri.
Crap, dont start flaming me for missing out a name or 1,2,3
So you see, its all in wat you want from a Rom and the looks of it
Why dont you try a few ( the one,s who fits your phone )
Then your choice will be soon a favorite choice
Have a great day
Greetz.
A meaningless discussion. I tested all of them.

Dutty human voice but a strong and clean.
Faster and willing to answer questions and Dutty.
Using both of them have fondly.
question, what is the best car?
VW, Audi, BMW, .....
I mean every car is good and bad, the different is in look, taste and your needs.
this is the same fore rom versions.
If "the best" exist, there will be no other. and if there isn't a other it's the only one.
I have not really followed the theme releases for the TB so bear with me...
Has NexTheme been ported yet to the Thunderbolt? In particular a port that is usable with Das BAMF? Many thanks in advance for any answers.
I too would love to see that !
HTC stock is very close to NexTheme. I did a lot of work on NexTheme for the OG Droid on a different forum and was thinking about bringing it to the Thunderbolt but it's so close to stock HTC it's not really worth it.
NexTheme icons are (for the most part) the same as HTC.
True. I just loved the additional stuff you did on your D1 version of NexTheme which really added some nice polish.
Agree on both sides.. lived it on my D1 but that was cause it have me the HTC look.. So.. Kind of pointless.. But the minor non HTC tweaks would be nice..
Ok, I'll see what I can put together this week. I'm running The Perfect Storm what roms are you guys on?

Bamf.. Whatever the newest is.. update each time..
Ok, I got started tonight. Sense is a real pain in the *** to theme. So many things that are interconnected it's not funny.
I'm going to have to make a few new icons for things that were not on the OG Droid and HTC did not bother to theme.

I ported it for nonsense rom but not for sense yet. Here is the link

bpi I have been going between both the latest Das BAMF and Liquid Thundersense. I'm using Launcher Pro in place of Sense/Rosie on my Thunderbolt and in my case of BAMF I've also applied the Desense ZIP to remove Sense from the ROM.

I've made quite a bit of progress, so far I have all the framework-res.apk themed and "most" of the htc.resources.apk.
Tomorrow night I will be starting on the system app's
I'm currently woking on The Perfect Storm v1.4 but once I have one Sense ROM themed I can port it to any other one in about an hour.
That's fantastic. Let me know if there's any testing you need me to do on the Das BAMF/Liquid Thundersense side of things once you get there.

Seriously.
I searched "HTC Sense" in this forum and got 32 returns. Now I have to click on a bunch of threads like this one to see which one actually has the answer in it.

FYI, Touchwiz 4.0 is a lot better than HTC Sense 3.0. Don't believe me?
Here's your answer from an ex-HTC'ian:
http://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/i4lf6/after_using_samsung_galaxy_s_ii_for_a_week_i/c20xl8y
Putting aside the petty squabbling over touchwiz being better.
And yes I am aware there are the Launcherpro widgets (which look too fake)
Is there no developer out there that can help us get this on the SGSII please?:

thanks in advance

It's great to see some progress in porting sense to other devices it's a shame that it doesn't have the 3d effect when scrolling between home screens but still looking forward to some genius getting this working on our SGSII.
JC
Thats what I thought too mate - If it can work on a darn LG it should be able to work on the SGSII!.
I got so desperate I even tryed to install the LG APK on me SGSII - lol! - needless to say it didn't work and just borked it requiring a reflash lol
Theres loads of great custom ROM's for the SGSII - Just not any with this type of bling!
Please please devs - I'd be willing to pay for this theme

Interesting idea for a port! I'm intrigued.
Strange, this looks very similar to TouchWiz... My girlfriend has an LG myTouch Q, and I swear they ripped off all sorts of elements from older versions of Sense on that phone (like Sense status bar, icons, menu styles, etc, just minus the Sense widgets and homescreen). Does LG license parts of TouchWiz or Sense to use on their own phones?
Looks good so far!
hope you can get your rezound soon and bring us the jellybean!thank you again for all your work!

I don't think HTC and Samsung would have UI related patents.
They're not Apple.

Hey guys, my friend has an evo 3d and he is having trouble with crashes etc on stock. He asked if I could root his phone for him. Could you throw out some suggestions for the smoothest most reliable cdma rom for this phone. Keep in mind, after I flash the phone he will probably never update the from so make it a good one! Thanks.

Nearly all the ROMs in development section are stable unless they are labled alpha. If he wants to remain stock, a master reset is probably needed.
I'm running Paranoid Android 2.52 and it is amazing. Great ROM and best of all its Jellybean. The only thing I've found wrong with this ROM is the 3d doesn't work. But 3d on phones is lame anyhow. Kinda a gimmick more than anything.
Android Revolution or MeanROM. I wouldn't recommend any others as ultra stable and fully working, as I'll assume if he's anything like my brother, it's going to have to be perfect... Otherwise he'll never let you near one of his devices again.
If he's on Virgin Mobile, go with Harmonia.
I do not recommend flashing any kernel other than stock either, unless you are positively 200% sure it will never break down. Stock kernel as I have seen is the most bug free (although definitely NOT the smoothest, not by a long shot).
Make sure you tell him what you're doing if you decide to flash a custom kernel, and do NOT under any circumstances over clock. If he accidently touches something and ends up at 1.8gHz and performance governor, (while he may come to you to try and fix it) he may also end up obliterating the hardware on his phone.
I only know from past experiences.
So to end on a final note.
Enhanced stock is really the only way to go to ensure ultimate stability. And unless he is going to flash ROMs himself, that's my opinion.
