playing 720p and 1080p vids from youtube?

I know this phone can play 720p videos no problem, by converting the vids manually. However when I try to use jetvd or youtubemate to play or download these videos my phone says the file can't be played. So I don't get it. Can anyone confirm this? I just want tomake sure there is nothing wrong with my phone.

flixster error after rooting

Before rooting, I was able to stream movies through Flixster. Now when I click Watch Now, all I get is the Initializing popup and nothing happens. I am still able to play trailers and download movies through it, just can no longer stream the full movie.

Try OTA RootKeeper. It allowed me to watch full movies on the Nook Tablet via Flixster after rooting.
Worked great. just have to remember to re-root after watching a movie. don't know what's causing this error.

Weird Problem with my Xperia S

Hey guys
I seem to have a weird problem with my XS. After a fresh boot, I can play 4-5 videos and after the 5th video I am unable to play any video. All video players show the same message "Sorry this video cannot be played". :crying:
And when I reboot I'm able to play all the videos, but again after playing 5 videos or so the same message.
Please help !!!
This is happening after installing the latest ICS update .45 Also I installed the sound mod by r-ikfoot, the latest one. Could it be because of that ?

Looks like a bug to me.
hey, videos that you recorded, videos loaded on the phone or online videos? though i can't remember i have played exactly that many at once, but i'm sure i played a few one after another, and never had issues. i'm on full stock, except systemUI is changed to GX's one.
I re flashed the ROM couple of times too but that doesn't make any difference either
I can play videos recorded with the phone but others - mp4,avi,mkv don't play.

[Q] sgs3 video recording error, need help to play video

I was recording a video, I got an error message 'recording failed' my screen was frozen then went to the home page. I checked my videos and the video I was recording when I got the error was saved there. Its a white screen, details say its 1 gb, but I cannot play it, keeps saying cannot play video. Is there anything I can do to play this video or retrieve it, I hope there's something I can do.
Thank you so much!

Help! Can't play video

Running: Cm12 (OTA) One Plus One
I cannot play videos with the stock video player. Not a big deal right? Just use VLC or MX player, which is fine for videos --> but this is affecting Snapchat as well. If I record a snap video, it records fine, but when it starts to play back it CANT and I get a "cannot play this video" error.
If I open up my camera and shoot a video, if I want to play it back using stock video player I get 'cannot play this video" but if I use VLC or MX player, it plays fine.
I think the stock video player is broken and its affecting my snapchats, what do I do?
