I am having an issue purchasing apps from the Market. Whenever I click on the button to purchase an app I get a message that pops up and says:
Error
An error occurred. Please try again.
Not sure what the problem is, I can install apps that are free and I can purchase apps using the same account from a pc and push them to my phone. I tried deleting cache and also clearing data. Also tried to re install Market 3.1.3 that Mikey had posted and I still get the same error.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
It seems like it might be the app itself. Some people thought it was ROMs, but people were getting this same error doing this on an un-altered Galaxy Tab as well.

I am on Eclipse .5. After researching the ROM thread I saw that others were experiencing the same issue.
Same here
Running version .5 squeaky clean install after format sd card and internal, sbf, reset, formated sd card nd internal again just to make sure, p3droid prerooted, flashed eclipse .5 backed up then flashed cyan icecream blur. Fixed cam flash sync problem I was having now can't purchase appear in market.
Seems as though Nitro is looking into working out the bug for the market app. He was looking for some users on twitter to help him run some tests.
I am running Eclipse .5 and I can't download any Apps unless I am on wifi. I 've deleted cache and data several times and re-installed ROM no change.

I was getting on error on both my X2 and my OG Droid the other night i cleared cache and data on both devices and they all work fine but both my phones had the error but my xoom was fine so i think its either a market bug or something within this rom but if its in this rom I'm unaffected by it

Anyone else having issues with not being able to access "My Downloads" in the market. Keep getting a server error. I've tried changing ROMS, clearing cache, different versions of market and all end with same error. I can log into my gmail and access my checkout and see the apps I've purchased so my account is not disabled. I've also tried clearing cache partition, dalvik cache and full master reset. Anyone got any ideas?
Yes I am. Just got my replacement vibrant in the mail.and having this same freaking issue.driving me nuts!

I'm running Nero V1, soon to be V2. But to answer your question I'm using the new market and my issue just stopped.

i did a restore of some of my apps and data but when i look at the market it only shows youtube and google maps as my installed apps is there a fix or is this a known issue?
I had this problem too. Some say just download apps and uninstall them plus maby a reboot, your apps will come back eventually. Dont worry about it.
I also installed the new update to the Market from the apk and that made my apps show up.
The new leaked Market update is causing data connection loss for lots of people. Works fine on WiFi, but on 3G/4G you lose data as soon as you start it. Most people have, like me, reverted to the old version until it is fixed.
Well I had the leaked one on gingerblur and all was fine but no big deal

For a few of yall that dont like the new market..
I have put his red custom market on this rom..
and it works perfect..
here is the link http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19079594/Vending.apk
copy it over the vending in /system/apps set permissions to rw-r-r and reboot
What always works for me is doing a force stop of the market and then clearing cache.

Open titanium backup and see if there is any application related to market frozen? If you find frozen app, just defrost it. Also clear the market cache.

I had the problem for a long time. Got the new market and it would actually give me an error message, about insufficient storage.
Info in settings clearly said I had enough, but still constant fails.
Eventually installed link2sd, used it on some apps problem solved.

try this --> wipe data of Market using Titanium backup. You will need to login again in market.
Check if your Google talk is working or not. I came across the same problem and I was advised to log out of gtalk and log in again. That didn't help me. I just flashed the rom over the existing rom. You can also flash gapps if you are on custom rom

Best way is flash Gapps again. It will resolve this issue permanently.
Hello. I had to factory reset my phone today when my memory card went corrupt while using navenrobs storage flip flop (not blaming him in the slightest) but after formating my sd card and factory reset. I can't download some apps From the market like galaxy on fire 2 or guerrilla bob. I had downloaded them both from the market before but it just wont let me download in the market. I also have the new buildprop installed as well would any of that cause me not be able to install some things from the market.

Did you have a backup of original build.prop? Don't know if that is it but maybe try it and see what results u get if u implement original build.prop
Just wondering, what had happened with ur sdcard? Did u do something u shouldn't have? Just curious so I don't make the mistake
I didn't back it up stupid on my part. But my sd card corrupted when I was moving some files in astronomical it crashed and I had to pull the battery when I restarted it kept crashing then it failed to mount the "internal" storage until I formated the card.

No I never thought to do that. I don't know what caused it but I sbfed back to froyo and updated installed sd card flip flop and its fine.

I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing a problem with GB and the new market, but I was unable to download several apps that should have been compatible with the DX2.
In many instances, the programs would show up in the Market, but there was no download button.
After doing some research, it looks like the updated Market is to blame.
As a solution, I uninstalled market updates through Settings>Applications>Manage Applications and then froze MarketUpdater using BloatFreezer. Now, I'm on the old Market, which completely eliminated the problem of non-downloadable programs.

Hi guys, i just work up and i found the attached notification. I didnt even go to market for the past week iirc. For the past 3 days i am very sure i didnt. And i went to Setings -> Application i saw i was left with 14MB. It keeps jumping between 13 and 14MB free.
Anyone encounter this before? Can guide me where to start troubleshooting? Im gonna restart the phone first. But i hope to find out the root cause
EDIT: just tried and it is still persistent

I do surf the web but i do not download stuff often, including apps. Im on the stock jelly bean leak and philz kernel. I just cleared cache and dalvik from recovery but no help. My total apps size never crossed 1GB and when i came over to this rom i only restored what i needed only which i doubt it every crossed 600MB. I am on this ROM ever since it was released on xda and i have no issues until this morning which i find it odd.
I tried to uninstall an app but it Didnt help much

But how do we know which paths and folders reside on the 2GB partition? Hopefully it doesnt come back again.
