How can i set Constant Frame Rate on Camera? - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi!
Samsung Galaxy S II makes videos with Variable Frame Rate, changing between 25 and 35 FPS.
I've tried the Hacked Camera.apk posted in THIS THREAD, but it's the same.
Converting VFR videos is a nightmare!!! (i want to use VirtualDub's DeShaker filter, and it can not handle VFR, and there are other nice problems with VFR too...)
I want to turn it off, so i want SGS2 to record Constant 30 FPS Videos!
How can i do that?
Anyone has any ideas?

Guys C'mon, be real with us.
Is there any way to capture CFR video on Samsung SGS2?

[Q] Problem: About to shoot a full film which might be in TV, and can't use 30 Fps

I'm an editor workind on Avid.
As I checkd, My galaxy shooting 30 frames per seconds in 1920*1080P.
Im not from the US, where NTSC system is broadcasting. Our broadcast system is Pal (25pal can work fine).
What can I do?
I tried to use LgCamera, but somehow its not working propely, and I cant trust it.
Is there any other solutions? I prefer an application solution rather than changing ROM.
Of course this movie will try to win local festival, and get the chance to go to National Television.
Thanks a lot guys

[Q] Is the a 60 FPS Camera Mod?

Did a few searchs and got nothing,
But here it is, ive come from a Sensation 4G and there was a mod that enable it to shoot into 60 fps and i even seen one for 120 fps
I do alot of camera work and i love its 1080p but when i slow down (on a comp)the images the turn choppy and not smooth.
Just seeing if anyone intends on making one, id give it a bash myself only i havnt a clue where to begin.
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
Moving to Q&A
Maybe possible, however it will require a modified kernel, camera driver and a new camera app which grants support for 60fps recording
lgcamcorder on the market has an option for [email protected]
If this can be done, why Samsung itself doesn't offer it??
I believe that turning fps to 60 would harm quality. Am I wrong?

[Q] K Zoom - video recording time limit - why only 10 minutes?

Hello everyone.
I can only record video for 10 minutes and then phone automatically stops recording.
10 minutes limit is on FHD (1920x1080) 60fps option, if i turn to FHD but 30fps there is 25 minutes, but it's still not enough.
My card is formated in exFat, so 4GB problem doesn't exist.
Does anybody can make mod to camera apk to bypass this limit?
Chris
Same problem I noticed here. I'm trying to record road trips and that time limit surely doesn't help at all!
I'm saddened to see not a single reply yet.
I assume using some different camera apps could override that limit. Haven't tried though so can't confirm. Although I actually want to use the stock camera and prefer it over any other camera app.
Hoping to find a solution for this...

Best video editing app

I'm looking for a video editor with one specific function.
I have an LG G2 so can record in slow motion at 120 fps.
I want an app that will allow me to set the video speed at different times.
So the start of the video is at 'normal' speed and some is at 1/8 of normal speed.
You get the idea...normal speed leading to the bit I want in slo-mo, followed by normal speed.
I've spent hours hunting and cannot find one!
Suggestions?
No one? Really?

Any ideas people?

LG v10 How do you change the camer or video resolutions?

I've been searching the internet and this forum for a couple days now, as well as messing around with my v10. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to lower the resolution. I want to lower the res so that I can send videos via text. Does anyone know how to do this? Seems like it should be easier than this. Am I missing something???

From my experience and I ran a quick test just now, if you use the native camera app, go into manual video mode and choose settings, then lower your bitrate to L, resolution to the lowest, and fps to 24. When on those setting a 23 second video came out at 18.52 megs. When I had bitrate set to medium, resolution at the same (lowest), and fps at 30, a similar 23 sec video was 34.20 megs. Almost double. Now I realize that both sizes are still going to be compressed to hell sending through a text/messaging app so you could also try recording and sending a video through included functions of whatever app you use.
