I am very sorry if I started this thread and there is help for it ,I searched and could not find it but again I AM NEW AT THIS . i GOT the photon 4g rooted and the rooting process went well but after I went to the contacts and try to make a call it displays
the application contacts storage (process com.motorola.contacts) has stopped unexpectedly.please try again
Now I follow some of the suggestions I saw in the forum by deleting the cache from contacts and the google services framework and restarted the phone and nothing the same thing
I am sorry for the trouble but I don`t want to buy a new phone and I AM WORRY ,Thanks for the help .

Or, just flash the update.zip or sbf to get back to latest stock? Would have to set the phone up again but at least all would be working.
does flashing mean to restart the phone on safe mode ,I am sorry i am trying to understand what i need to do ,I have no idea what you man ,thanks

Heres what happened... A good friend of mine did a factory reset soon after I rooted her phone because sms stoped working. now it wont boot to anything other then Download mode and only after many trys to even get it to do that. I have flashed and mods lots of phones before but I cant get anything to work with this phone. the one program I found and thought might work has a dead link and no where on the net can I found it. if anyone has any ideas please help or even the ROMTools v2.3.1 (ex-recoveryflasher) I could try all that I have collected.. Thanks

Try to flash firmware again with pit file and clear cache and factory reset maybe it shld help you out
Give the phone back to its owner. ;-)

you just enter to recovery mode and full wipe again. I got same problem and did it. so the problem has gone.

It's probably sim locked.
Try to start the phone without sim, root the phone and try a sim unlocker from Play Store.
Can be a solution.

Solved,
The problem was, I installed my Wife E-mail Address to the phone and one of the hasi and exchange Security Role the force the Lock Policy, so when I the key was entered 5 times Wrong, the Device was locked and I needed the recovery key from the OWA (Outlook web Access).
Any way the Idea of Data Wipe Didn't work, The Only Solution that fixed the problem was installing a Stock Rom using Odin and then Rebuild all my customizations again
This is not a questions forum, stop posting crap in wrong place people.
Im the owner. Never had a problem since this is a unlocked device.
Installed Nameless Rom and after rolling back to GB got this issue.
Just Flash CWM for your Rom. This worked for me.

Guys help me recently i clicked on reset using oppo a5 after that it always ask for password the password i'm putting is wrong ,afterall i tryed to do wipe data reset using recovery but still it ask for password ..what i should do???

i was cleaning some files using a tool called Clean master and i moved some programms to SD card.After that many apps started to crash and my phone was lagging like hell.I restarted and it doesn't load the android interface as it seems.I mean,sometiems it prompts me to write the PIN,but most times it just shows the "SOS" call,i can only do sos calls,nothing other than that.
I need help guys,my phone is rooted and i cant repair it for free.

U have rooted means u have custom recovery, so download a ROM for ur Alcatel and flash..

I tried installing a lollipop rom in it,, but the rom proved corrupt and my phone got stuck in bootloop.. This aint the problem as i got it corrected by flashing new stock rom.
The problem starts here---- I was just exploring the phone and i found the app named "FOTA UPGRADE" . I just opened it and clicked on one of the upgrade options. It started installing or something and was taking time . I got confused and took out the battery to switch it off.. UNFORTUNATELY, now the touch of the phone is not responding. Tried factory reset but still not responding. I cant access the phone as it tells me to choose language to GET STARTED. but i cant touch anything..
Solve this issue asap.. plz experts...

so my son has entered the pattern several time wrongly in his wiko , so the phone was locked, as he doesnt have but some games, and the phone was already slow, i performed a factory reset, but now after the reset the phone is asking for the phone number or recovery email that was originally used on the phone ( which i forgot ) !!!!!! the phone is useless and i dont want to instal a new rom on it , how stupid is it from wiko to produce this kind of cheap phone ! the hone is stuck and cant login or anything but after i use the old email or the phone number ..
any help will be appreciated

Try this method step by step and this will save your device and don't forget to do this the device must have a number card inside because without number you can't do this like in the video try step by step and in the end it will ask you to create a new google account and tadaaa

Hm why !! can you take a photo and tell me for the problem one week ago i had this problem the same problem with a wiko jerry device the same android version and this video solved my problem maybe you are doing something wrong do you have a number card inside it with any contacts because without any contact you cant get to the setting
well , am sure i followed the steps , but when i click on users , nothing happens .. any way thank you very much for the help .. i bought him a new phone , and got the lesson .. never go with Wiko again
