On friday I should receive my Gtablet so I just would like to get some advices about what's the first custom rom I should install.
Please note that I would like to have a rom where everything works!
I was thinking about Flashback (Honeycomb) but it doesnt have full gpu support and the camera doesnt work , so unfortunately its not an option to me yet...
What are your suggests guys?
Thanks in advance

For starter, I'll recommend froyo or Gingerbread custom rom.
Vegan Tab 7.10 by Gojimi (2.3)
Cyanogen 7 repacked (2.3)
Brilliant Corners by Roebeet(2.2)
Calkulin and Clemesyn version 6 (2.2)
Or if you want honeycomb. Either go for flashback or gtabcomb. Not recommended though, since they tend to drain battery faster than the rest. I personally favored gtabcomb a bit, but the developer (zhyong), discontinued the development (i think it's because xdadevelopers doesn't recongnize it as developer T_T or some sort of issue )
Thanks mate.
But please note that I want to have everything working. Is fullhd accelarstion by hardware supported on gingerbrrad roms of gtab?

If you want everything working and HW acceleration then go with the last two he had in his list, Billiant Corners or C&C V6. Very stable, very fast.
Thanks. Thats all what I needed to know

You should note that Wifi locations detection doesn't work on those Froyo ROMs, only stock ones.
thanks a lot for the info martin88ca.I think I could live without wifi locations...

Man I had a look to the threads of those roms and.I.can see that both of them have uv/oc by default. Which one would you rexommend me without uv/oc (and with everything working)?
Thanks

Hey, sorry if this has been already posted (I couldn't find anything related to this even searching deep).
As the title says, is there any camera.apk with those mods? Or at least a how-to guide to hack the original camera.apk. I can't seem for the life of me to find any of these, the closest I found is a mod for gt-i9003 (gb) (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1453547) which does not even run on gt-i9100, and, of course, does not tell how the op hacked the original app.
Why is this? Afaik is not THAT hard to mod the camera app, and taking photos with power button would be an amazing feature.
Hope I'm not missing something terribly stupid or obvious -If so please just tell me-.
Thanks in advance guys.
PS: I'm already using a silent camera.apk, what I'm really interested in is the power button hack.

you can extract the camera.apk from my rom, it has those features...
Well thank your for your answer, i'll give it a try
EDIT: Works, but the camera shutter is the volume button instead of power button. It pretty much does the trick but it'd be a lot fancier to have one that supports power button shutter. I'll use it in the meantime but I'd really appreciate having the power button one.
Sorry, i actually misread your post!
I don't think there's a camera.apk that has the power button in use, but this is a good alternative
No problem pal thnx for your feedback..
So.. anyone? Power button as shutter?

That feature is available in Resurrection Remix Rom along with option to save in external sd card.

Yup.

In that case I guess I'll have to stick with the one with the volume shutter, I'm really comfortable with my actual rom.. thanks a lot.

Well It is working on SkiRom but the power button is working as a shutter and the power button at the same time.
Anyone have experienced this issue? My Active and Mini do, under the new stock ICS from Sony for our devises. The devises tethering function, under Gingerbread had no issues at all. Does Sony know about this issue? Any workaround? Thanks.

This is the wrong section for this, however, wifi and usb tethering just won't work for me either (Sk17a).
Sorry, hope a moderator can move this to the right section, and I hope more users report this issue in here (if they have it, of course), maybe, a developer from here or from Sony can see this post, and do what is need to be done. Thanks again!

Are you using stock Rom or a cooked Rom under a custom kernel ? Thank for your input.

Are you using the stock Rom and kernel? If you are, your provider is T-Mobile? Or you are using a cooked Rom and custom Kernel. Thanks any help in that regard, could help to find a possible cause to this issue.

Without knowing it, I just posted the same at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1731274 if you want, we can continue discussing it over there
I've seen you at Sony forums, and no, we have no official reply from Sony developers.
P.D. si quieres me envĂas un privado y hablamos al respecto.
Self explained. Someone know anything?
Thx

I believe the multiscreen feature of the note 10.1 relies on twframework, so no
Edit: I believe someone in the original thread about this question spoke of an app that somewhat does this, go check it out
Epinters ROM 10.1 --
HDR will hang and says please wait. Then when I try to view the picture it is fuzzy and grainy.
Camera libs are crap. Only solutipn is to go back to gingerbread

Which one is GB again?
CM10?
CM7
Hey guy,
I just installed CM11 Atrix (BigPart) and it works great, but as soon as the screen goes to sleep for a few second it won't come back. Sometimes it just stays black, while other times I get a scrambled looking image. No one else in the rom post seem to be having this issue, and it was working fine before this rom. Does anyone have a solution?
Thanks
Try the hporch32 kernel

I tried that. It didn't work for me. Thanks for the suggestion tho.
Damn..
I suggest reporting it to z via pm with the relevant info (tombstones and logcats, see the rom thread to see what he request)
