Clear data and force stop in app settings. See if that helps

How about completely uninstalling it and doing a fresh install from the market?

Wipe dalvik cache?
Same was happening to me so I uninstalled it using Rom toolbox and reinstalled from market.
Use titanium to turn it into a user app and uninstall it. Long press on the app from within titanium backup, select covert to user app, then uninstall.

I've had mixed results when just hitting uninstall without converting apps to user. Just suggesting the way I've had the most success with

you mean your YouTube app is a system app?
If you are rooted, use titanium backup to uninstall it.
Swyped from my Samsung Galaxy SII
u need root for this , using root explorer to navigate to system / app , and scroll down and find youtube.apk and simply delete it after enabling R/W premission in root explorer

Instead of troubling yourself, you can just sideload it.
Download latest YouTube apk from here and install it as normal apk: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1529715

Are you using lucky patcher? Not a good idea, try clearing data in that or uninstall it then try again.
