Go into the .apk, grab the lib file from inside it, and replace the lib in your current /system/lib/ with the one from the apk. And then reboot.

Drocap2 and ShootMe giving blurry pics

Has anyone seen this problem with either of these apps with temp root?
They're either blurry as hell or the app icons and widgets have lines through them.
I'm not sure what's going on here.
They need to update the apps
i have to resize mine some times, or host it on my dropbox and img link it
mine come out perfect.. with the first temp root scripts they came out messed up.. but with the newer perma temp roots it has much better screen caps.. dunno why the difference..
What newer script did you use?

Can you explain in detail how you installed? Using stock rom: I download the file, renamed it .apk, used rootexplorer to copy and then pasted in system/app and changed permissions to rw-r-r . Nothing shows up in widgets nor programs...what did I do wrong?
Well I didn't rename it. Just download and move into the system/app folder and changed permissions. But I should tell you I also DL the "signed" one. When I tried the other it didn't work. Also it will be in widget list as Asus weather widget. So should be near the top of the list. I couldn't find it either thinking it would be near the bottoms in the W's. Anyway I hope you don't mind temp in Celsius because so far I don't think anyone knows how to make it Faren... let me know if you figure that out!

The MMS bubble mods for Viper are VRThemes so they have to be flashed with AmonRA recovery.

Ah that mms.odex will overwrite the mms.apk. Try to rename the mms.odex file to mms.odex.bak or something then reboot. That should make the ROM start using the APK file and at the same time, use the graphics in the mms.apk.

Here you go
Make sure you manually move this into your system/app and change perms accordingly. Make sure your mms.odex is there as well with the same perms. Also if you did rename the mms.odex before to .bak or something please undo it. It needs to be Mms.odex

go to this thread on your phone, and click the apk to download it. after downloading it go to the folder where it downloaded to and click it to install it. a prompt should come up giving you the option to choose which program youd like to use to install the apk file. "Rom customizer" should be one of those options, along with "apk installer".
Click Romcustomizer and click "just once". after that it will ask you where to install, click "system". the apk will install . you then reboot your phone
