[Q] Volume colour - Optimus One, P500, V General

When I use the volume keys to change the volume, the bar is yellow in colour. Is it possible to change/theme this to another colour on CM7?

It is based on the theme whichever you're using. If you change the theme, the colour of the bar also changes.

Start bar clock color

I've done searching and didn't find anything about changing the start bar clock color. Is there a way to change it to black so I can use a white wallpaper? I looked in Co0kies 1.8.5. but it doesn't have and choice for the start bar color. is there a cab or program? Can it been done even? Thanks!

what i did was, i created a wallpaper purely of what colour i want my taskbar to be...then using Set Wallpaper> Skin XXX> select your wallpaper and you're done...it saves the hassle of installing a cab...

The Text color is set by the Them, Start Menu>Settings>Home , so you can change the theme, but you could also find a theme making app and make your own ...
Thank you for your replies! but i think i asked the question wrong ,,, What I want to do is change the color of the clock in the top bar itself from white to maybe black or dark blue. i have transparent/skinned bars using co0kie 1.8.5 and if I use a wallpaper that is white i can't see the clock as it is white also. So is it possible to change the color of the clock?
I think i no what you mean mate, as far as im aware right now the clock cant be touched, because i wanted to remove the clock and the only way i could do it was use a white wallpaper,

thank you very much! I did not know about status_bar.xml. I have replaced the current one with owq's gingerbread port one and the status bar font is indeed white
with status bar achieved, all that is needed so far is:
(1) White text in all typing text fields (any fields that you type in)
(2) white text in long pressed menu (the menu that pops up when you long press on an item; currently the background is black, but the font is also black =[ )
I believes both of them are in services.jar
very good. thx u so much

[Q] Change the color of time/day in status bar.

Anybody knows how to do it on G3? I am doing a Stock Froyo theme but I need black time/day in status bar. Thanks in advance.
Black color fonts wont be visible on a black background if ur are changing the color of statusbar also then u need to edit services.jar in system/framework....
Google for colorchangev3.jar or search for the same in xda there u will find how to do it...

Can you be mroe specific? Do you have a theme? Are you using Dark Mode?
I dont have any Theme, only dark mode. And i realy like black statusbar icons on light blue wallpapers and lockscreen. It is posible to make,or by Theme to make it?
I just want to have a statusbar in black. I use bright backgrounds so the statusbar is not very visible.
